LCW Showdown Television Results 06.24.09
LCW Showdown Television Results (June 24, 2009) live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to a special three-hour, championship edition of LCW Showdown, in which all the title would be defended, as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko talked about the fact that tonight would be the last edition of LCW Showdown before a two month hiatus. They also discussed the fact that there was still not a LCW Universal Champion after Magnum TA and Ric Flair went 60 minutes in an Iron Man match that ended with no decision.
LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner came out with LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff, Diamond Dallas Page, and Bill Goldberg. Bischoff said that tonight would be the final episode of LCW Showdown before a two month hiatus. He said tonight would also be the final show before the LCW Beach Brawl 2009 pay-per-view on Sunday, July 12th. Bischoff said every title would be on the line tonight and, by the end of the night, we would know the compete card for the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view. Bischoff also announced that tonight’s main event would feature a 20-man battle royal with the last two men in the ring becoming the number one contenders for the LCW Universal Championship and facing each other at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view for the vacant title.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Superstar Billy Graham and One Man Gang (with Luna Vachon) about Kevin Sullivan. Graham said Sullivan was an even bigger idiot than he thought if Sullivan thought for a second that Graham would ever help him with anything. Graham said he was ready to finish off Sullivan once and for all. Gang told Graham that he’d have to wait because he wanted to get his hands on Sullivan first. Gang said that Sullivan never knew how to treat a woman as great as Luna Vachon, but now that she was with a real man she was going to know what it meant to be treated like a queen because he was going to be her king. Gang and Vachon walked away and Mooney looked at Graham with a puzzled look on his face and Graham said, “Don’t look at me. I don’t get it either.”
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Superstar Billy Graham came out with One Man Gang and Luna Vachon and they got into the ring. Graham called out Kevin Sullivan and Sir Oliver Humperdink. Sullivan and Humperdink came out and Sullivan said he was done with Graham and he wasn’t worth his time anymore. He said he wanted to teach “that bitch” Vachon a lesson about betrayal and teach Gang a lesson about putting his nose where it doesn’t belong. Sullivan said since both of them wanted to get their hands on him maybe they could have a tag team match right now. Sullivan asked Humperdink if he knew someone who could be a partner for him. Humperdink said he had someone perfect in mind, the newest member of the House of Humperdink…King Kong Bundy!
Kevin Sullivan and King Kong Bundy defeated Superstar Billy Graham and One Man Gang (with Luna Vachon) in 6:21 by pinfall when Sullivan pinned Gang with a rollup and his feet on the ropes.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Dan Spivey, who challenged his Skyscrapers tag team partner, Sid Vicious, to a match tonight. LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff approached Spivey and announced that the match would take place tonight, but added that the match would determine the number one contender for the LCW Heritage Championship at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view next month. Bischoff wished Spivey luck as he walked away.
LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) defeated Wildfire Tommy Rich in 7:23 by pinfall with the slingshot suplex. During the match, Missy Hyatt came out and jumped up on the ring apron and started exchanging words with Rich. She slapped him and Blanchard attacked him from behind and then hit him with the slingshot suplex for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Hollywood John Tatum and Austin Idol came out and attacked Rich, but Rich managed to fight them off and knocked them out of the ring, Idol with a dropkick and Tatum with a clothesline. Rich grabbed a microphone and challenged Idol and Tatum to a tag team match at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view. Idol and Tatum accepted the challenge and asked Rich who his partner was going to be. Rich said they would just have to wait until the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view to find out.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Sid Vicious defeated Dan Spivey in 8:34 by pinfall after the powerbomb. After the match, Vicious said he was coming for LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff.
In the back, LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard, with his valet Baby Doll, talked about beating Wildfire Tommy Rich to unify the LCW International Championship and the LCW Television Championship and then beating him again tonight just to put an exclamation point on the matter. Dr. Death Steve Williams approached them and challenged Blanchard to a match at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view. Blanchard asked why he should give Williams a title shot and Williams said because he beat the King of the Legends at the LCW SuperClash and if Blanchard didn’t want him to beat him down right now he’d grant him the title shot. Blanchard relented and gave Williams his shot at the title.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Tito Santana defeated The Genius Lanny Poffo in 5:27 by pinfall to win the LCW United States Championship after Randy Savage interfered and hit Poffo with the flying elbow smash. After the match, Savage got back in the ring and attacked Poffo some more. Angelo Poffo came out and told Savage to stop attacking his brother. Savage told his father to mind his own business and said that he brought it to this point. Savage said he wanted a match with his brother at LCW Beach Brawl and he wanted it to be a Loser Leaves LCW match. Poffo accepted the challenge on behalf of his son. Savage said if his father interferes in the match, Lanny Poffo will automatically lose the match. Poffo accepted the stipulation, but said if Savage touches his brother anytime before Beach Brawl, Savage will forfeit the match and have to leave LCW. Savage accepted the stipulation and then climbed to the top rope and hit Poffo with another flying elbow smash and then said, “Starting now.”
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff approached LCW United States Champion Tito Santana and congratulated him on winning the LCW United States Championship from The Genius Lanny Poffo. Bischoff said he wanted to introduce Santana to his opponent at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view. Diamond Dallas Page approached them and told Santana to take care of his LCW United States Championship because at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view he was going to get it back and become five-time LCW United States Champion.
LCW Unified Tag Team Champions Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk came out and Fernandez said that they proved last week that they were the most dominant team in Legends Championship Wrestling. Funk joked that the teams they hadn’t beaten were falling apart and the competition was dropping like flies. Fernandez said he had heard that Doom wasn’t in the building and he was sad to hear that because Doom was one of the few teams they hadn’t beaten, but he knew they would get the opportunity to beat them soon. Fernandez said he was laying out an open challenge to any team in the back who wanted to try their luck with Fernandez and Funk, the LCW Unified Tag Team Champions. The Nasty Boys came out and said they would accept the challenge and started making their way to the ring.
The Nasty Boys defeated LCW Unified Tag Team Champions Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk in 8:45 by pinfall when Brian Knobbs pinned Terry Funk after a powerslam. After the match, Fernandez confronted Funk and started to yell at him, blaming him for the loss. Fernandez pushed Funk and Funk ignored him and went to leave the ring, but Fernandez attacked Funk and beat him down until the Nasty Boys came to Funk’s defense.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Carlos Colon about his recent altercations with Abdullah the Butcher. Mooney mentioned the fact that Colon was first seen at the LCW Uprising two months ago when he helped Ken Patera defeat Abdullah in an Inferno match when he kept General Skandor Akbar and Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie from interfering in the match. Then, Colon appeared again last month at the LCW SuperClash pay-per-view when Colon interfered in the six-man tag team match between LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff, Ken Patera, and Sgt. Slaughter and assisted them to a victory over the Disciples of Allah which forced the group to break up. Colon said two months ago, he thought the flames would be enough to keep Akbar and Al-Kassie from interfering, but they weren’t so he was there to help. Colon said last month he took advantage of an opportunity to help his friend Ken Patera eliminate the Disciples of Allah and they did it, but his old nemesis Abdullah the Butcher was still a threat and he wasn’t going to rest until that threat was eliminated from Legends Championship Wrestling. Colon said he hadn’t been on LCW television regularly because he was dealing with some issues in his native Puerto Rico, but he was back to settle his issues with Abdullah. Colon said he wanted to make things interesting for both he and Abdullah and the fans since they had done this thing so many times before in the past. Colon said if Abdullah wins at the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view, he will never appear in Legends Championship Wrestling again, but if he wins, Akbar will never manage Abdullah ever again and Abdullah will be all alone.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed General Skandor Akbar, with Abdullah the Butcher, and Akbar said, “Carlos Colon must think he’s pretty smart. He attacks us at Uprising, he costs Abdullah the inferno match at Uprising and then, like a coward, he runs back to Puerto Rico and hides. He gets in our business again at LCW SuperClash and forces the breakup of the Disciples of Allah. He gets his match at LCW Beach Brawl from the Board of Directors before he goes, and then he goes and runs and hides. And then he wants to come back just to make a stupid stipulation. Well, Carlos Colon, you’ve got your stipulation because I have complete faith in Abdullah the Butcher to get the job done. He’s going to beat you just like he’s beaten you so many times before.”
LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff defeated the Iron Sheik (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) in 6:02 by pinfall after the Russian Sickle clothesline. After the match, Nikolai Volkoff came out and joined Sheik in attacking Koloff until Ken Patera and Sgt. Slaughter came out and evened the odds. Abdullah the Butcher then came out with General Skandor Akbar and attacked Koloff, but Carlos Colon came out and knocked Abdullah out of the ring and brawled with him through the crowd and to the back. Moments later, as Koloff was getting back to his feet, Sid Vicious came out and attacked Koloff, laying him out with a powerbomb before leaving ringside.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko reviewed the complete card for the LCW Beach Brawl pay-per-view on Sunday, July 12th:
- Bret The Hitman Hart vs. The Dynamite Kid.
- Ken Patera and Sgt. Slaughter vs. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie).
- Terry Funk vs. The Raging Bull Manny Fernandez.
- Carlos Colon vs. Abdullah the Butcher (with General Skandor Akbar).
- Wildfire Tommy Rich and Mystery Partner vs. Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt).
- One Man Gang (with Luna Vachon) vs. Kevin Sullivan (with Sir Oliver Humperdink).
- LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff vs. Sid Vicious.
- LCW World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys vs. Doom.
- LCW United States Champion Tito Santana vs. Diamond Dallas Page.
- Macho Man Randy Savage vs. The Genius Lanny Poffo in a Loser Leaves LCW match.
- Big Van Vader vs. Stan Hansen.
- LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard vs. Dr. Death Steve Williams.
- Magnum TA vs. Bill Goldberg for the vacant LCW Universal Championship.
Magnum TA and Bill Goldberg won a twenty-man battle royal in 18:04 to determine the number one contenders for the vacant LCW Universal Championships. During the battle royal, Big Van Vader and Stan Hansen both eliminated each other and brawled to the back as security tried unsuccessfully to separate them. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page came out and joined Goldberg in attacking Magnum. Dr. Death Steve Williams ran out to help Magnum, but LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard came out and hit Williams with his title belt, knocking him out. LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner and LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff came out and Turner called off Page and Goldberg and officially announced that Magnum TA would face Bill Goldberg for the vacant LCW Universal Championship.
The lights went out and LCW Founder Christian Calaway appeared on the LegendsTron in a white suit. Calaway said, “Ted Turner, you can try to destroy me, you can try to destroy my company, but you can never destroy the passion of these fans and you can never destroy the fighting spirit of these legends. Like a phoenix from the flames I will rise again. What you said is true, in September, we will see the return of Legends Championship Wrestling, but what we won’t see is the return of Ted Turner as Chairman of the Board.” Turner said if he wasn’t the Chairman of the Board, LCW Showdown would never appear on his network again. Calaway said, if LCW Showdown wasn’t on his network anymore, he wouldn’t be the Chairman of the Board anymore because he was sure the Board of Directors would vote to have him removed as Chairman. Calaway said he had found a new network on which to have LCW Showdown air. Calaway said Turner had made it known on many occasions that there was only one reason he wanted to own Legends Championship Wrestling, not because he loved the "rasslin' business," but because he had more money than Calaway and wanted to rub it in Calaway's face that while Calaway founded Legends Champioinship Wrestling he didn't have the money to support it. Calaway said he knew Turner took a sick and perverse pleasure in taking something from him that he cherished so greatly, his own creation, Legends Championship Wrestling. Calaway said he went out and found someone with more money than even Ted Turner and someone who had promised to provide LCW Showdown a home in the future...Rupert Murdoch, owner of FOX Networks. Murdoch said he had heard about the trouble that Turner had been causing and he was here to give LCW Showdown a home and Calaway any financial assistance he might need to regain control of his company. Calaway laughed and said, "See you at LCW Beach Brawl, Ted. Then again, maybe we won't." Calaway and Murdoch laughed and an irate Turner stared up at the LegendsTron with a mixed look of anger, shock and frustration on his face as the show went off the air.

LCW Showdown Television Preview 06.24.09: Championship Edition!
This week's LCW Showdown will be a "Championship Edition" with every LCW Championship on the line - including the coveted LCW Universal Championship.
Extended Hiatus
As you may be aware, this will be the last LCW Showdown until September 9, 2009. LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner made the announcement last week on LCW Showdown, after negotiations to save the show at this time, fell through. LCW airs on Turner's network, and the series can only return on his say-so. Turner did announce, however, that the LCW Beach Brawl, LCW Heatwave and LCW Survival Project pay-per-views will still go ahead. Hey, we always give you a reason to come back, right?
Who's The Champion?
Last week, a 60-Minute Iron Man Match resulted in yet more controversy for the LCW Universal Championship, as no clear decision could come in the bout between Magnum TA and Ric Flair. This week, the title is on the line, as the number-one contender is Bill Goldberg, but that's not the focus of the match, the focus is: who's the champion? We're hopeful to find out this week on LCW Showdown!
International Rematch
Last week, Wildfire Tommy Rich announced that he had a championship rematch against LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard on this week's mega Championship Edition of LCW Showdown. Rich blamed his associates, Austin Idol and Hollywood John Tatum for not aiding him to victory at LCW SuperClash. Idol and Tatum, however, had a differing story, claiming that Rich cost himself the title. After an attack last week, it has been said that Rich is more determined to win the LCW International title than ever. Can this come true on this special edition of LCW Showdown.
Poffo Defending
After winning the LCW United States Championship at the assist of his father, Angelo Poffo, from his brother, Randy Savage, Lanny Poffo is set to defend the LCW United States title this week on LCW Showdown... but against who? We're going to find out this week on a live three-hour broadcast LCW Showdown!
Unified Titles ... Unified Title Match
Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk became the official LCW Unified Tag Team Champions at LCW SuperClash. This week, they'll make their first title defense on the Showdown extravaganza, but their opponents are, at this time, unknown. Which team, on the impressive LCW tag team roster, will step up?
What a night this three-hour Championship Edition Showdown will be. And you can catch it, at LCWShowdown.com!

LCW Showdown Television Preview 06.17.09: SuperClash Fallout!
It was a night of amazing and defining moments. Alliances were formed, championships changed hands and dreams were crushed. For many, LCW SuperClash is always the start of new beginnings, but for some, this past Sunday's events crushed any hopes of new beginnings and fresh starts within the confines of the company. This, we're sure, is the thing that will set us on an unbelievable journey through the next year in LCW – but what will it bring?
Universal Controversy:
This past Sunday at LCW SuperClash, the LCW Universal Championship was vacated when a match between the champion, Magnum TA and his number-one contender, Ric Flair, ended in controversy. LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner, fresh off a Stone Cold Stunner earlier in the evening, vacated the title. That leads to many questions about the status of the top prize in LCW, and how the situation will be rectified. Could it be that a rematch will be set? Or maybe Ted Turner is looking to do Bill Goldberg a favor after the tremendous deed the Human Wrecking Ball did for the Chairman. One thing's for sure, we'll all be tuning into Showdown to find out!
Founder Gone:
This past Sunday, LCW Founder, and former Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway's life came tumbling down around him, when Stone Cold Steve Austin lost to Bill Goldberg, forcing Calaway out of the company he created forever. With reports circling that Calaway went AWOL after the pay-per-view, and that Steve Austin is feeling rather guilty about the loss, what will happen this week on LCW Showdown?
Consolidating Championships:
This past Sunday, at the biggest event of the year, Manny Fernandez and Terry Funk officially became the LCW Unified Tag Team Champions. But, there's no rest for the champions, as they have an entire roster of legendary tag teams to face. But which of these tag teams will get the chance to win the tag team straps first?
Savage Cheated:
Randy Savage was cost his LCW United States Championship by, of all people, his own father Angelo Poffo. Poffo, who is Savage and Lanny Poffo's father, cost Savage the title this past Sunday at SuperClash, allowing his other son, The Genius, to pick up title gold. But the question needs to be answered: why?
Departing Disciples:
It's official: the Disciples of Allah have officially been disbanded, never to reform in Legends Championship Wrestling again. They're all going separate ways, but it still remains to be seen who can come out the better after this huge split.
Also, watch out for:
Tully Blanchard unified the LCW International and Television titles at SuperClash. The Television title has now been retired, but what's next for the International Championship? Could it be that Hollywood John Tatum and Austin Idol are eyeing the gold, as they failed to help Rich on Sunday?
Sid Vicious turned on his Skyscraper partner Dan Spivey this past Sunday. What's next for the 6 foot 9 monster?
Superstar Billy Graham returned to Legends Championship Wrestling on Sunday, helping Paul Orndorff against Kevin Sullivan, Sir Oliver Humperdink and Luna Vachon. Sullivan, Humperdink and Vachon were under the illusion he was there to help them, when in reality he was there to hurt them. With trouble in paradise brewing between Vachon and Sullivan, what will happen on Showdown?
Tito Santana got rid of his arch nemesis Rick Martel this past Sunday. What's next for Santana? Is he looking for title gold? Only time will tell.
It's all to play for this week on LCW Showdown. And, as always, it's sure to be totally unpredictable!
LCW Showdown Television Results 06.10.09
LCW Showdown Television Results (June 10, 2009) live from St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko talked about the contract expiration situation with the network and introduced LCW Founder Christian Calaway.
From his office at LCW Headquarters in Sacramento, CA, LCW Founder Christian Calaway appeared live via satellite on the LegendsTron. Calaway said that the future of Legends Championship Wrestling was indeed in doubt as their contract with the network was set to expire in three weeks. Calaway said that he had spoken with Ted Turner, the lawyers, and the network executives about keeping LCW Showdown on the air and, at this moment, due to his tenuous relationship with Turner he wasn’t sure if they were going to be able to come to an agreement in time to save the show. “You see, at the end of the day, there’s nothing I can do about the fact that Ted Turner owns the network on which you are watching this show.” The audience booed and Calaway continued, “So the stakes at LCW SuperClash this Sunday have to be raised. In my hands I hold a contract, the contract that Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, Ted Turner and myself have already signed. However, there’s been an addendum added to the contract that says that if Bill Goldberg wins, Ted Turner can determine the fate of Legends Championship Wrestling on his network and if Austin wins, I get my company back and LCW Showdown remains on Turner’s network for the lifetime of either the network or Legends Championship Wrestling.” The audience cheered and started chanting LCW’s initials. Calaway thanked the fans for their support.
Manny Fernandez (with Terry Funk) defeated Stan Hansen (with Big Van Vader) and King Kong Bundy (with One Man Gang) in 7:31 by pinfall when he pinned Bundy after the Flying Burrito. After the match, Funk, Vader, and Gang got into the ring and the three men brawled as security officials came out to separate them.
In the back, Sir Oliver Humperdink was walking through the arena corridor when someone grabbed him from behind knocked him to the floor with a punch. The camera zoomed out and Paul Orndorff could be seen standing over Humperdink. Orndorff picked up Humperdink and dumped him into a wheelbarrow and started pushing him through the arena corridor as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Paul Orndorff came out with Sir Oliver Humperdink in a wheelbarrow and called out Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon. Humperdink started to regain consciousness and Orndorff said that he appreciated the LCW Board of Directors putting him and Sullivan in a steel cage, but he didn’t think that was going to be enough to stop Humperdink and Vachon from interfering and trying to save Sullivan from his inevitable fate. Sullivan told Orndorff if he let Humperdink go that he would get in the ring alone with Orndorff tonight! Orndorff agreed and said it sounded good to him and kicked over the wheelbarrow and Humperdink fell out of the wheelbarrow and rolled out of the ring. Sullivan started to walk down to ringside with Vachon. Vachon tended to Humperdink outside the ring to the side of Orndorff as Sullivan slowly started getting into the ring. Vachon made her way behind Orndorff and slipped into the ring as Sullivan continued getting into the ring. Vachon tried to hit Orndorff with a low blow, but Orndorff caught her and grabbed her by the hair, holding her at bay and challenging Sullivan to get into the ring. Sullivan backed off and demanded that Orndorff let her go. He put her, kicking and screaming, in position for the piledriver. Sullivan slid into the ring and Orndorff let Vachon go, throwing her to the mat and charging at Sullivan. Vachon slipped out of the ring as did Sullivan before Orndorff could get his hands on him. As Sullivan, Vachon, and Humperdink made a hasty exit, Orndorff picked up the microphone and said, “Go ahead, Sullivan. Run while you can, because in four days you’re going to be locked inside a 15-foot high steel cage with me. There will no interference from the fat clown or the biker bitch, there will be no escape, and there will be no survival for you, Kevin Sullivan. For too long you’ve been running around here like evil incarnate unleashed. Well this Sunday night, at LCW SuperClash, I’m putting evil back in the box and I’m making sure it never gets out again.”
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko called attention to Angelo Poffo, the 84 year old father of Macho Man Randy Savage and the Genius Lanny Poffo, who was sitting in the front row.
Tito Santana defeated the Genius Lanny Poffo in 6:17 by disqualification after Rick Martel interfered and attacked Santana. Before the match, Poffo gave his father a hug before he got into the ring. After the match, Martel locked Santana in the Boston Crab and refused to release the hold as Poffo kicked at Santana’s head. LCW United States Champion Macho Man Randy Savage ran out and pulled Martel off of Santana as Poffo jumped out of the ring. Martel ran from ringside as medical officials came out to check on Santana and help him from ringside. Savage called his brother into the ring and Poffo cautiously climbed into the ring. Savage said he didn’t know what had happened to his brother in the past several weeks, but he crossed the line last week when he hit him with his metal scroll. Poffo admitted that it might have been a mistake, but it wasn’t an accident. Poffo said since Savage won the LCW United States Championship he had stopped returning Poffo’s calls, he had stopped hanging out with him, and he had stopped traveing with him. Poffo said he missed his brother and he didn’t want to have to do it, but if taking the LCW United States Championship from him at LCW SuperClash this Sunday would bring them back together, than that’s what he would have to do. Savage got in Poffo’s face and the two men were about to come to blows when a voice came over the PA system that said, “Stop it! Stop this, right now!” The voice belonged to Angelo Poffo who had grabbed a microphone and was let past the security guard rail by a security official. Poffo got into the ring and said his sons needed to stop acting like a bunch of babies and start acting like men. He said he was so proud for the many months that they worked together, as a team, conquering the legends in Legends Championship Wrestling. He said he was never prouder than when he saw his son Lanny Poffo helping his brother reach for the “brass ring”, the LCW Universal Championship. Poffo grabbed the microphone from his father and said, “That’s the problem, old man. You’ve always been so proud of him, you’ve always been so supportive of him. It’s always been about the Macho Man Randy Savage. Well, what about me, Dad? What about me? I’m actually a Poffo. He was so ashamed of his name, so ashamed of you, that he had to change his name, he had to become someone else. But I was proud of you, I was proud of my family and I was proud of my name. And what did I ever get for it? What did it ever get me? Nothing!” Poffo turned to leave, but his father grabbed his arm. Poffo turned around and pushed his father to the mat. In the instant that he had realized what he had done, Poffo leapt from the ring as Savage checked on his fallen father. Poffo, upset with what he had done, stormed from ringside as Savage called for medical officials to help his father from ringside.

LCW Television Champion Wildfire Tommy Rich and Missy Hyatt defeated LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll in a 7:47 in a mixed tag team match when Rich pinned Blanchard after Hyatt hit Blanchard with a low blow. After the match, Baby Doll went after Missy Hyatt and the two women brawled and even hit their own charges as they tried to separate them. Eric Bischoff came out and said, “That’s it! That’s enough! Stop it, damn it! Control them, damn it!” Blanchard and Rich were finally able to separate the two women and Bischoff got in the ring. Bischoff said that LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner sent him to ringside to restore order and to ensure order between the two women. Bischoff said, “So here’s what we’re going to do. Starting tonight and lasting for the next four days, until the end of the unification match at LCW SuperClash between LCW Television Champion Wildfire Tommy Rich and LCW International Champion Tully Blanchard, Missy Hyatt and Baby Doll must keep their hands off of each other. If you don’t Ted Turner has authorized me to inform you that both Rich and Blanchard will be stripped of their titles and the titles will be declared vacant!” Bischoff left ringside as both Blanchard and Rich looked at each other for a moment as Hyatt and Baby Doll exchanged words from across the ring. Blanchard grabbed Baby Doll by the arm and put her in the corner and got in her face and yelled at her and held the belt in front of her and asked her if she knew how important the title was as Rich quickly dragged Hyatt from ringside.

Diamond Dallas Page (with Eric Bischoff) defeated Don Muraco in 5:18 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter. After the match, Bischoff came into the ring with Page’s crown, robe, and scepter. Dr. Death Steve Williams came out and went to hit Page with a spear, but Page threw Bischoff in front of him and Williams hit Bischoff with the spear as Page left ringside.

LCW Heritage Champion Nikita Koloff and Ken Patera defeated the Bolsheviks (with General Skandor Akbar and Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) in 8:24 by pinfall when Koloff pinned Zhukov after the Russian Sickle clothesline. After the match, Koloff and Patera celebrated as they left ringside. Meanwhile, in the ring, Akbar and Al-Kassie blamed Zhukov for the loss, his second in as many weeks. Zhukov started yelling back at Akbar and Al-Kassie. Volkoff pushed Zhukov away and Akbar and Al-Kassie walked away without Zhukov.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Jim Neidhart defeated Jim Powers in 1:09 by pinfall after the Anvil Flattener running powerslam. After the match, Neidhart locked the Sharpshooter on Powers and refused to release the hold. Security officials came out, but they couldn’t pull Neidhart off of Powers. The Dynamite Kid came out, on crutches again after being attacked and reinsured two weeks ago, and hit Neidhart across the back with a crutch, forcing Neidhart to release the hold. Neidhart quickly got back to his feet, shaking off the crutch shot. Neidhart went to attack Dynamite, but he raised his other crutch and was ready to hit Neidhart with it, but Neidhart backed off and left the ring.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA defeated Barry Windham (with JJ Dillon) in 11:55 by pinfall after the belly-to-belly suplex. After the match, Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard came out and attacked Magnum, but Magnum managed to fend them off and hit Blanchard with a belly-to-belly suplex. When Magnum tried to hit Flair with the belly-to-belly suplex, Flair managed to escape and rolled out of the ring, exiting up the ramp with Blanchard and Windham.
In the parking lot, Stone Cold Steve Austin was in his black pickup truck and trying to leave the arena when Bill Goldberg turned the corner in his Hummer. Goldberg and Austin revved their engines. Goldberg sped toward Austin and Austin sped toward Goldberg, but before they collided, Goldberg swerved his car to avoid Austin, lost control of the vehicle and drove it into the parking lot wall. With severe front end damage, damage to the parking lot wall, and smoke coming from the front of the Hummer, security and medical officials ran to the scene. They found that Goldberg wasn’t moving and removed him from the vehicle before loading him onto a stretcher. As he was being loaded into the ambulance, from the broadcast booth, Schiavone questioned whether Goldberg would be able to wrestle Austin at LCW SuperClash this Sunday and what that meant for the future of Legends Championship Wrestling.
