From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to another three-hour edition of LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko reminded the television audience of the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series in which each champion defends his title against a challenger that was determined weeks ago in the LCW Showdown Championship Draft.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Bret Hart and Macho Man Randy Savage about the Dynamite Kid, who attacked Savage last week backstage with a vicious chair shot before being chased away by security and Hart. Savage said it was going to take more than a steel chair to kill the Madness. Savage said he only wanted one thing and that was the Dynamite Kid one-on-one at LCW Redemption Day.

Robert Parker and Maw Bass) in 6:19 by pinfall when Savage pinned Mantel after the flying elbow smash while Hart had Bart locked in the Sharpshooter. {COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin who talked about being blindsided last week by the Honky Tonk Man when Honky Tonk blasted Austin over the head with his guitar. Both men accepted the challenge and Hart joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary during the match. During the match, Hart talked with Schiavone and Zbyszko about the possibility of facing either Von Erich or Bundy. Hart said he would welcome either challenge, but would really like to face Von Erich because it would be a great match featuring representatives of two great wrestling families. Hart would get his wish when Von Erich won the match and the title. After the match, Hart applauded Von Erich as he was handed the title and celebrated with the crowd as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Former LCW Women's Champion Ivory was in the ring with a bandage on her left cheek and was looking less than thrilled. "Lock! I don't know what your problem is. What I do know is that you cost me the Women's Title and I am NOT going to let that just slide. Get your boney ass down here NOW!" A burst of flame exploded from under the ring and Lock crawled out and into the ring. "Ivory, Ivory, Ivory," she said condescendingly, "You need to realize that I want to do EVERYTHING I can to destroy Luna." Confused and enraged Ivory replied, "Then why the hell did you help her win?!" Lock grinned and said, "What better way to hurt her than to give her exactly what she wants only to rip it away from her? Plus its A LOT more fun! So, nothing personal, okay?" Ivory's jaw fell in shock and she responded, "Nothing personal? Nothing personal?!? You burned my face and cost me the Women's Title you little bitch! I'm gonna beat your brains out right here, right now!"
Lock defeated Ivory in 4:34 by pinfall after the Lock Pick. After the match, LCW Women's Champion Luna Vachon was on the stage and said "I have no problem fighting both of you at Redemption Day. Harley Race said Ivory gets a rematch and I agreed on one condition: that I also get you, Lock! This ends Sunday!" Lock just laughed at her. Ivory took advantage of the distraction and hit Lock with the Poison Ivory.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Stan Hansen (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) defeated Wild Bill Irwin in 5:04 by pinfall after the Lariat clothesline to become the number one contender for the LCW United States Championship.
In the back, the Midnight Express, with their manager Dennis Condrey, were shown making their way through the arena corridor. Sean Mooney approached them about their recent absence from LCW programming. Condrey said when they lost the LCW World Tag Team Championships last year to the Nasty Boys they took their ball and they went home, but at the LCW Showdown Championship Draft a few weeks ago their number was drawn and tonight they're back. Condrey said the Midnight Express was back and better than ever and ready to take back what belongs to them.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
The Midnight Express (with Dennis Condrey) defeated LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater in 13:28 by pinfall when Bobby Eaton pinned Dick Slater after the Rocket Launcher. After the match, LCW General Manager Harley Race came out and said, "Eaton, Lane, Condrey, before you start celebrating too much, let me be the first to welcome you back, congratulate you on becoming the new LCW World Tag Team Champions once again, and introduce you to your opponents at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view this Sunday...the Nasty Boys!" The Nasty Boys came out and joined Race on the entrance stage as the Midnight Express looked on in shock. Brian Knobbs said, "Enjoy the gold while you've got it because this Sunday you're walking into Nastyville and just like last time you visited, you're not leaving with your titles."
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater were arguing about their loss to the Midnight Express when the Bass Brothers attacked them from behind. The two teams brawled as security officials appeared and pulled them apart.
LCW United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) in 8:21 by pinfall after a powerslam. After the match, Stan Hansen attacked Graham and took his head off with the Lariat clothesline. {COMMERCIAL BREAK}

After the match, Vader went to hit Idol with another Vader Bomb, but Wildfire Tommy Rich ran into the ring and knocked Vader off the top rope. Before the match, LCW Joshi Champion Madusa joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary. {COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW International Champion Barry Windham (with J.J. Dillon) defeated Marty Jannetty in 5:31 by pinfall after the Superplex. After the match, Paul Orndorff came out and said that he tried to use King Kong Bundy as a weapon last week to take him out, but this Sunday he'll have to do it all by himself. Orndorff said he was cleared to wrestle, but he was ready to fight...right now! Orndorff started to make his way down the entrance ramp as security officials came out and held him back. Windham and Dillon challenged him to come into the ring.
In the back, Big Van Vader confronted LCW General Manager Harley Race and said he was tired of dealing with these little nobodies and he deserved to be main eventing. Race said he wasn't sure if Vader should be main eventing, but he'd give him the opportunity to prove himself. Race told Vader that he would face Wildfire Tommy Rich at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view this Sunday. Race said he had more important things to take care of and wished Vader luck this Sunday.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Mad Maxine defeated Rockin' Robin in 0:14 by pinfall after a kick to the gut and a chokebomb. From the broadcast booth, Tony Shiavone noted that the match time might be an LCW record. LCW Showdown Television Official Preview 11.25.09: Road to Redemption
This week on LCW Showdown, every champion is in action defending their title as a result of the Showdown Championship Draft, a tag team returns to LCW Showdown for the first time in nearly a year and the road to LCW Redemption Day makes one final stop!
Shake, Rattle and Roll... into LCW Redemption Day: This week, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin meets his final Showdown Championship Draft opponent before this Sunday's LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view: the Honky Tonk Man. Last week on Showdown, Austin's Redemption Day opponent Magnum TA (a former LCW Universal Champion himself) signed the contract for the pay-per-view match, but he doesn't know - yet - who he'll be facing. And though Austin managed to overcome Hollywood John Tatum last week, will it be the same story when he takes on the famed former WWF Intercontinental Champion this week? Or will it be the longest reigning Universal Champion in LCW history versus the longest Intercontinental Champion in WWF history this Sunday? Or will we see the presumed return match with two of the greatest talents in LCW history: Austin v. Magnum?! Find out this week.
Can Windham Win 'Em? Paul Orndorff will have a keen eye on the LCW International Championship match this week – when reigning champion Barry Windham takes on Marty Jannetty – as he'll be facing the winner this Sunday. Windham won the LCW International Championship two weeks ago when he defeated Dr. Death Steve Williams after interference from Bill Goldberg. Orndorff's contender status came with a win in the Sam Muchnick Memorial Battle Royal at LCW Showdown at the Chase. The question is, who will Orndorff face on Sunday?
Tag Team Returns to Gold? LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater may have been served more than they can digest this Wednesday. As, in accordance with the Showdown Championship Draft drawings, they will face returning duo of Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, the Midnight Express. The legendary duo's biggest success came with the guidance of legend in his own right James E. Cornette back in the 1980s in the legendary Mid-South Wrestling promotion (run then by the legendary Cowboy Bill Watts). They were last seen nearly a year ago at the LCW Endgame 2008 pay-per-view, losing the LCW World Tag Team Championships to then-challengers the Nasty Boys. Will they have better luck upon their return?
Also This Week: - LCW Heritage Champion King Kong Bundy will defend his title against Kevin Von Erich. - LCW United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham, fresh off becoming the champion last week, faces Tully Blanchard. But where will Stan Hansen be? - Last week, Madusa beat LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto to become Joshi Champion, while Luna Vachon won the LCW Women's Champion from Ivory in a No Holds Barred match. As the Lady Legends get ready for LCW Endgame, what will happen next? - Will things continue to explode between Macho Man Randy Savage and Dynamite Kid?
LCW Showdown Television Results (November 18, 2009) live from the Iowa Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, IA.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to a three hour edition of LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena.
LCW General Manager Harley Race came out with a clipboard in his hand and introduced the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship, Magnum TA. Magnum came out and joined Race in the ring. Race said there was only one element missing and that was the champion. Race noted that due to the unpredictability of the Showdown Championship Draft, he can't guarantee that Austin will still be the champion next week or there would be a contract signing tonight. Race said, "He could lose the champion tonight or he could even lose it next week, only days before Redemption Day. What I can guarantee to you though, Magnum TA, is that you will face one of three men: reigning LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, Austin's Showdown Championship Draft Series opponent tonight, Hollywood John Tatum, or his opponent next week, the Honky Tonk Man. With that guarantee, I'd like to invite you now to officially sign the contract for your championship opportunity at Redemption Day." Race handed Magnum the clipboard and Magnum was about to sign it when LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin came out and joined them in the ring. Austin talked about beating Sid Vicious in a stretcher match at LCW Showdown at the Chase two weeks ago. He talked about kicking ass and taking names in the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series. He said he would be ready to sign that contract after kicking Hollywood John Tatum's ass this week and the Honky Tonk Man's ass next week. Magnum said that there was one ass he wasn't kicking, one name he wasn't taking, and that was his. Magnum reminded Austin that he was champion because some goon squad attacked him before his match with Bill Goldberg at LCW Beach Brawl in July. Goldberg won the match via forfeit and Austin was giving the opportunity to win the title by LCW Founder Christian Calaway. Magnum said, "Then, we put our differences aside in August at Caged Heat and joined forces to take on Ted Turner's Evil Empire and we helped Calaway regain control of the company and drive Turner from LCW. At Survival Project in September, Bill Goldberg again cost me the opportunity to become the number one contender for that title (pointing to the LCW Universal Championship on Austin's shoulder) and I had to step aside while Sid Vicious, who won the Survival Project. And that's fine. I'm a man and I can play the game by the rules. But Sid Vicious changed the rules when he powerbombed you on that steel entrance stage. He took you out of commission and just like you took advantage of an opportunity when I was taken out of action, I took advantage of an opportunity when you were taken out of action. I think you and can both agree that you got the better end of the deal. I helped you retain your title by defending your title on your behalf and beating Sid Vicious for you and I became the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship last month at Night of Horrors." Austin said Magnum could stop the revisionist history right there because he remembered hitting Vicious with the Stone Cold Stunner and helping Magnum beat Vicious. Austin thanked Magnum for helping him retain the title, but what had happened between them in the past didn't matter. Austin said, "I don't want to talk about our great series of matches in the past and how we traded the LCW Television Championship in early 2006 or how we traded the LCW International Championship in late 2006, because there's one title we're not trading in 2009 and that's the title draped over my shoulder right now." Austin said he respected Magnum as the longest reigning LCW Universal Champion in the history of the company, but there was only one problem with that: he wasn't the reigning champion anymore. Magnum said he would be after Redemption Day. As the two men got in each others face, Race kept the two men apart and told Magnum to sign the contract. Race handed Magnum the clipboard and a pen and Magnum signed the contract as the crowd cheered. Race announced that the champion, whomever that might be, would sign the contract at the end of LCW Showdown next week. Austin and Magnum stood face to face exchanging words as Race implored them to wait until Redemption Day. Magnum walked up the entrance ramp and when he reached the entrance stage, Sid Vicious attacked him from behind, laying him out with a clothesline. Austin ran up the entrance ramp, chasing Vicious away as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Madusa and asked her for a comment on her shot at the LCW Joshi Championship. Madusa said, "Sean, I have a lot of history in Japan. I've won championship gold there so I know what being a joshi is all about. I also have history with Akira Hokuto, history that dates back WAY before LCW opened its doors. In 1996, I was living my dream. I helped establish a serious women's division in WCW, but I lost to Akira in a career vs. title match. I disappeared for three years and Akira took my title back to Japan with her. Now, the tables have turned and I'm going to take the new LCW Joshi Championship away from her.” Madusa walked away.
Madusa defeated LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto in 6:39 by pinfall with the German suplex bridge to win the LCW Joshi Championship. As soon as Madusa was announced as the new champion, Hokuto hit her with the Northern Lights Bomb. Dump Matsumoto, Devil Masami and Aja Kong came to the ring. Hokuto shouted out orders to them in Japanese and Masami and Kong held Madusa up by her arms. The pair quickly ran out of the way as Dump Matsumoto levelled Madusa with the Dump Truck Lariat. From the crowd ran Lioness Asuka and Chigusa Nagayo. The two entered the ring and double dropkicked Masami and Kong out of the ring. Jaguar Yokota joined them and climbed the turnbuckle. She gave Matsumoto a flying hurricanrana and she too flipped out of the ring. The three women stood around Madusa, protecting her and staring down Hokuto. With rage in her eyes, Hokuto left the ring and took her allies up the entrance ramp with her. Yokota helped Madusa to her feet and Asuka and Nagayo held her arms up in victory as the crowd cheered and chanted, “MA-DU-SA! MA-DU-SA!”
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, an irate Magnum TA confronted LCW General Manager Harley Race and demanded a match with Sid Vicious tonight! Race granted the request and Magnum walked away.
Big Van Vader defeated Wildfire Tommy Rich in 2:16 by pinfall after the powerbomb after Hollywood John Tatum interfered and blasted Rich with a steel chair while Missy Hyatt distracted the referee. During the match, Hollywood John Tatum and Missy Hyatt came out and watched the match from ringside, laughing as Vader dominated an outmatched Rich. As Rich started to mount an offense, Tatum blasted Rich with the steel chair. After the match, Vader left ringside with Tatum and Hyatt. When they reached the entrance stage, Tatum raised Vader's arm in victory, but Vader quickly laid him out with a clothesline before continuing to the back. Missy leaned down to check on Tatum as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Wildfire Tommy Rich confronted LCW General Manager Harley Race and before Rich could even say anything, Race told him that he saw what happened and he knew what Rich wanted. Race offered him a match with Hollywood John Tatum, but Rich said that wasn't what he wanted. He said he was done with his "light work" and was done with Tatum and Hyatt. He said he was making his comeback and without their interference he might have won the match. Race interrupted him and said, "You want another match with Big Van Vader?" Rich said that was exactly what he wanted and Race granted him the request and said the match would take place at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view.
Superstar Billy Graham defeated LCW United States Champion Stan Hansen (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) in 7:52 by pinfall after a running powerslam to become the new LCW United States Champion. During the match, the referee was knocked out by Hansen when Graham moved out of the way of an attempted Lariat clothesline. The Desperados tried to interfere, but Bret Hart and Macho Man Randy Savage came out and cleared them out of the ring. As they brawled at ringside, Wild Bill Irwin ran past them, into the ring, and hit Hansen with the Lariat clothesline. Graham picked up Hansen, hit him with the running powerslam for the pinfall and the win. After the match, security officials came out to separate Hart, Savage and the Desperados. Hart and Savage got in the ring and celebrated the victory with Graham and Irwin left through the crowd as Hansen and the rest of the Desperados were escorted from ringside.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater defeated the Powers of Pain (with Mr. Fuji) in 6:11 by pinfall when Orton pinned the Barbarian with a schoolboy rollup after Barbarian missed an attempted Kick of Fear. During the match, the Bass Brothers tried to interfere, but the Powers of Pain made short work of them, clotheslining both of them over the top rope and out of the ring.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, LCW World Tag Team Championship Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater confronted LCW General Manager Harley Race and said they wanted one more match match with the Bass Brothers at LCW Redemption Day. Race said he would grant the request, but with one stipulation. Race said both teams need to move on and the only way he can figure to do that is to break up one of the teams. Race said that at LCW Redemption Day, Orton and Slater would defend the titles, if they're still the champions after next week's Showdown Championship Draft Series title defense, against the Bass Brothers in a tag team match in which the losers will never be able to team again! Orton and Slater said they were all right with the stipulation and were confident they'd win. Race said if they lost the titles next week on Showdown, the match would still take place at Redemption Day with the losing team having to break up, never to team again.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed the new LCW United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham, who was with Bret Hart and Macho Man Randy Savage. Graham said he was hearing talk that he was thinking about walking away from it all, retiring, but the win had put the fight back in, “this old war horse.” He said he had plenty of fight left in him and if he was going out he couldn’t imagine a better way to go out than defending the LCW United States Championship. Wild Bill Irwin approached them and said, “I want you to know, that what I did out there, I didn’t do it for you. I did what I did because of what Stan Hansen and those sons of bitches did to me last week. They beat me down like a dog. You talk about being a war horse, well this dog still has plenty of fight left in him. Now I know that doing what I just did tonight may have signed my death warrant and Stan Hansen is going to try to be my executioner, but until the day the noose is around my neck and I hang from the gallows, I’m not going to surrender. What I did tonight, I did for me, because I had to. But I want you to know this, when I walk away from the executioner, when I survive the gallows, I’m coming for you (referring to Graham) and I’m going to make that (referring to the title) mine. You wouldn’t have that if it weren’t for me.” LCW General Manager Harley Race approached them and said that Irwin had made several good points and announced that next week on LCW Showdown he was going to face Stan Hansen and the winner would receive a shot at the LCW United States Championship at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view in two weeks. Race also announced that it would be a lumberjack match! Race congratulated Graham and warned him not to look past his Showdown Championship Draft Series opponent next week, Tully Blanchard.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Macho Man Randy Savage and Bret Hart were walking through the arena corridor. Savage and Hart shook hands and went their separate ways. When Savage turned the corner, he was blasted in the head by a steel chair. The Dynamite Kid appeared around the corner with a smile on his face and dropped the steel chair before Bret Hart appeared and chased him away. Hart returned to check on Savage and called for help.
Magnum TA defeated Sid Vicious in 8:04 by pinfall after the belly-to-belly suplex. Before the match, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth. After the match, Jimmy Hart appeared in the broadcast booth and started insulting Austin. The Honky Tonk Man appeared behind Austin and when Austin turned around, Honky Tonk blasted Austin with the guitar. Hart left with Honky Tonk as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW Heritage Champion King Kong Bundy defeated Paul Orndorff in 4:41 by countout after LCW International Champion Barry Windham interfered and slammed him back first into the steel ring post. After the match, Windham rolled Orndorff into the ring and put him in the corner and Bundy hit him with the Atlantic City Avalanche splash. Security officials ran out and escorted Windham and Bundy from ringside as medical officials checked on Orndorff.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Luna Vachon defeated LCW Women's Champion Ivory in 7:09 by pinfall after Lock interfered and hit Ivory with the Lock, Stock and Barrel in a no holds barred match to win the LCW Women's Championship. During the match, steel chairs, frying pans, and even a broken bottle were all used by these women, one desperate to hold onto the title and another desperate to secure it as her own. Vachon went to retrieve another weapon from under the ring, but came face to face with Lock. Minutes later in what became essentially a handicap match, Ivory had Vachon laying on a table after taking a frying pan to the head. Lock climbed the turnbuckle and delivered the Lock Pick somersault elbow drop leveling Vachon into a pile of splinters. Just as Ivory was going to high-five Lock, she threw a fireball into Ivory's face. Ivory shrieked in pain and Lock used the Lock, Stock and Barrel knocking her out. Lock dragged Vachon on top of Ivory and the referee made the pinfall count. The referee reluctantly declared Vachon the new LCW Women's Champion. She stumbled to her feet and clutched the belt tightly and cried out in joy. Lock punched Vachon in the gut and then hit her with the Lock, Stock and Barrel, knocking her out cold. From the broadcast booth, Schiavone noted that, "Lock just gets scarier and scarier. I think we know who the next challenger for the Women's Title is." Larry Zbyszko replied, "I want to know why she screwed Ivory and helped Luna only to knock her out anyway. What is wrong with this woman's head?"
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW International Champion Barry Windham (with J.J. Dillon) defeated Black Bart (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) in 5:30 by disqualification after the Desperados interfered and attacked Windham. After the match, the Desperados continued to attack Windham until Tully Blanchard came out with a steel chair and cleared them out of the ring. Blanchard helped his fellow Horseman to his feet.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt) in 3:40 by pinfall after the Stone Cold Stunner. Before the match, the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship, Magnum TA, came out and joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary during the match. After the match, Magnum and Austin exchanged words, Magnum from the broadcast booth and Austin from the ring, as the show went off the air.

LCW Showdown Television Official Preview: Gold Rush!
With five weeks left in the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series, and all the titles on the line, will more titles change hands again this week?
Universal Title Goes Hollywood? This week on LCW Showdown, in accordance with the Showdown Championship Draft, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin will put up his most coveted title against Hollywood John Tatum. Last week, as LCW Redemption Day opponent Magnum TA looked on, and just days after Showdown at the Chase, Austin put away Bob Backlund in under 6 minutes. Can Austin, who had held the Universal Championship since July 12, retain the title once more? If Tatum, a former LCW Television Champion, has anything to say, Austin will be leaving Showdown without his title.
Power of the Pinfall = Championship Gold: This week, LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater put their titles up for grabs against the Powers of Pain. The Powers of Pain, former two-time LCW World Tag Team Champions and former three-time LCW United States Tag Team Champions have always battled their critics, but recently the team has been battling stagnation, having not been seen on LCW Showdown in quite some time. The Powers of Pain are back and Mr. Fuji has assured everyone who will listen that his team will once again be LCW World Tag Team Champions.
Barry Windham Beats Death: Last week, with help from Bill Goldberg, Barry Windham proved how unpredictable the Showdown Championship Draft Series can be when he unseated Dr. Death Steve Williams as the LCW International Champion. With Williams and Goldberg set on a collision course for the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view on Sunday, November 29th, Windham continues on in the Showdown Championship Draft Series to face Black Bart this week. Will the Desperados add more gold to their stable or will J.J. Dillon be able to give Windham the tools needed to beat his former charge, Black Bart.
Heritage Hot Potato: Last week, like the week before, the LCW Heritage Championship changed hands when King Kong Bundy took the title from Macho Man Randy Savage, after former champion Dynamite Kid attacked Savage and cost him the belt. This week, Bundy, the new champion, goes one-on-one with Paul Orndorff. Orndorff rides a wave of momentum heading into the weeks title match, as he already has a guaranteed LCW International Championship match at LCW Redemption Day. Last week, Orndorff promised to walk into Redemption Day a champion and leave a double champion. Can that prediction prove true?!
United States Superstar: Superstar Billy Graham will get a shot at the LCW United States Championship against current title holder Stan Hansen. Hansen managed to win the belt two weeks ago, defeating the, until then, dominant former champion Diamond Dallas Page. As a new week in the Showdown Championship Draft Series sets in, the former WWWF Champion, Graham, looks to snag a victory and a title this week.
Also, Watch Out For: - LCW Women's Champion Ivory defends her title in a no holds barred match against Luna Vachon. - In other Lady Legends' action, the LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto will defend her title against Madusa Micelli. - Will Magnum TA have anything to say about his LCW Universal title match at Redemption Day? - Will Randy Savage be on the war path, after the Dynamite Kid?!
All this and much, MUCH more only on LCW Showdown this Wednesday!

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko reviewed footage from the LCW Showdown at the Chase television special this past Saturday in which LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Sid Vicious in a stretcher match, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater won the LCW World Tag Team Champions by defeating the Nasty Boys and the Bass Brothers in a triple threat match, and Dr. Death Steve Williams retained the LCW International Championship after another battle with Bill Goldberg. Schiavone and Zbyszko reminded everyone about the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series that would continue this week and has already seen several titles change hands, especially the LCW Heritage Championship which had changed hands twice in as many weeks. Schiavone noted every champion would defend his title tonight against a predetermined challenger as a result of the LCW Showdown Championship Draft last month.
King Kong Bundy defeated LCW Heritage Champion Macho Man Randy Savage in 6:44 by pinfall to win the LCW Heritage Championship after the Atlantic City Avalanche after the Dynamite Kid interfered and blasted Savage with a steel chair and then held Savage’s arms around the ringpost while Bundy hit him with the Avalanche.
In the back, Col. Robert Parker approached Wild Bill Irwin and said he was impressed with Irwin and thought he would fit in perfectly with the Desperados, but Parker said he needed a little favor first. Parker put his arm around Irwin and the two men walked away to talk in private as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW Women's Champion Ivory came down to the ring and thanked everyone who watched her win the title at Showdown at the Chase and everyone who supported her every step of the way. She then thanked the LCW fans for their support of the Lady Legends and said that they will continue to bring the fans the best in female wrestling. Akira Hokuto and Luna Vachon came down to the ring, Vachon with burns on her face. Hokuto was clapped sarcastically as Vachon held onto a metal briefcase. Hokuto jerked the microphone out of Ivory's hand. "Touching speech," Hokuto said. "But if you don't mind, I have something to say, too." Vachon smashed Ivory on the back of the head with the briefcase. The crowd gasped and booed as Hokuto grabbed Ivory and hit her with the Northern Lights Bomb. She then picked up the microphone and untied her kimono revealing the former WCW Women's Championship around her waist. Hokuto said, "The fact that this woman is LCW Women's Champion while I, according to the official record books, have been undefeated world champion for 13 years, makes me sick to my stomach. I deserve this title more than any Lady Legend and I am being denied what is rightfully mine. All you people, you have no respect for REAL women's wrestling. You'd rather see these washed up "divas" roll around than see real physical competition." The crowd was livid, booing and shouting as Vachon yelled to them to shut up. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone commented, "I don't know where she gets off calling herself an undefeated champion of a company that has been dead for almost ten years." Larry Zbyszko replied by saying, "I just want to know where she learned to speak such fluent English!" Dump Matsumoto, Devil Masami, and Aja Kong walked down to ringside and circled the ring acting as a pseudo armoured guard. Hokuto continued, “To add further insult, not a single of my fellow Joshi legends were included in this tournament! I had to disguise myself as a American character to even get considered for this title. I see racial discrimination is still alive and well on this side of the world and to be truly honest, it makes me sicker than Ivory holding that belt ever could.” Vachon handed the case to Hokuto, who opened it and revealed a title belt and switched the WCW belt for it and put it around her waist. "This is MY new championship! I am the LCW Joshi Champion!" Vachon picked up the LCW Women's Championship as she, Hokuto and the others started stomping at Ivory. Madusa, Lioness Askua, Chigusa Nagayo and Jaguar Yokota ran down the entrance ramp to help Ivory. Hokuto and her allies scattered from the ring as she shouted at the women in the ring in Japanese. Vachon made the belt motion around her waist as they headed backstage. Madusa helped Ivory to her feet and handed the title back to her. They shook hands as the crowd cheered. LCW General Manager Harley Race appeared on the LegendsTron and said that if Hokuto wanted to make a title then she had to defend it. He announced that next week on LCW Showdown, Akira Hokuto would face the woman she screwed out of the LCW Women’s Championship at Showdown at the Chase, Madusa, for the LCW Joshi Championship. The crowd cheered and the color drained from Hokuto’s face as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Macho Man Randy Savage, holding his ribs, was shown making his way through the arena corridor, knocking down production equipment and grabbing production crew members demanding to know where the Dynamite Kid was. One of the crew members he grabbed said he thought he had seen Dynamite leave the building. Savage threw the crew member to the ground and kept up his search for Dynamite Kid.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Diamond Dallas Page about what happened last week on Showdown and this past Saturday night at Showdown at the Chase. Page said that Goldberg wasn’t there to help him hold onto the LCW United States Championship last week on Showdown, but came to him at Showdown at the Chase to make sure he would have Goldberg’s back in his match with LCW International Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams. Page said he simply returned the favor. “Call it a receipt if you like,” Page said. He said he had heard Goldberg say that he didn’t need anybody and now he doesn’t have anybody. Page said, “Now, I wouldn’t call myself an enemy or anything. Goldberg and I just have some issues to work out and sometimes it’s best to do what I did at Showdown at the Chase and just walk away, take some time away to decide where we stand and that’s what I did and what I’m going to continue to do: walk away from Goldberg until he knows where his head’s at. But I’m not an enemy because Goldberg knows better than anybody that he doesn’t need anymore enemies in Legends Championship Wrestling and he certainly doesn’t need me as an enemy. Now as for me, monkey, I’m going to do what I do best: show everyone why I’m called the King of the Legends around here.”
LCW United States Champion Stan Hansen (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) defeated Wild Bill Irwin in 0:08 by pinfall after the Lariat clothesline. Before the match, Parker grabbed a microphone and reminded Irwin about what they had discussed and what Irwin had to do to become a member of the Desperados. Irwin looked at Hansen and then closed his eyes and Hansen took his head off with the Lariat clothesline and covered him for the pinfall and the win. After the match, the Bass Brothers, Dirty Dutch Mantel, and Black Bart came out and everyone helped Irwin to his feet and seemed to be welcoming him into the group. Parker said, “You held up your end of the agreement, but you being a part of this group, well Bill, it just isn’t going to work, son.” The Desperados then attacked Irwin, stomping him down to the ground. Parker said to Irwin, “You see, son, a real man would have fought. He wouldn’t have given up without a fight. He would have been a man and done everything he could have to not only earn our respect, but win the title. Do you really think you deserve to be with the most dominant force in Legends Championship Wrestling today? Did you really think you could be a part of this group?” Parker laughed and the Desperados took some more shots at Irwin before leaving ringside as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Barry Windham (with J.J. Dillon) defeated LCW International Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams in 8:34 to win the LCW International Championship by pinfall after Bill Goldberg interfered and hit Williams with the Spear while J.J. Dillon distracted the referee. After the match, an irate Williams chased Goldberg through the crowd and to the back. Before the match, Paul Orndorff, who won the Sam Muchnick Memorial Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the LCW International Championship at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view on Sunday, November 29th, joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary. Orndorff said he didn’t care if he had to face Williams or Windham or anybody else who might win the title as a result of the Showdown Championship Draft Series. Zbyszko brought up the fact that as a result of the Showdown Championship Draft, Orndorff also had a shot at the LCW Heritage Championship next week. Orndorff said he wasn’t worried about King Kong Bundy and was ready to have a champion vs. champion match at LCW Redemption Day when he faces the LCW International Champion as the LCW Heritage Champion.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater defeated Doom in 11:40 by pinfall when Cowboy Bob Orton pinned Butch Reed after the Superplex. During the match, the Bass Brothers came down to the entrance ramp, but were stopped and sent to the back by security officials.
In the back, Hollywood John Tatum and Missy Hyatt approached Big Van Vader and Hyatt brushed up on Vader and flirted with him as Tatum said that he had heard Wildfire Tommy Rich talking trash about Vader saying he could beat Vader any day of the week. Vader said he had a match with Rich next week and he told Hyatt and Tatum to tell Rich that he better bring his best next week because he was going to be the one that finally puts out the wildfire. Vader walked away and Tatum and Hyatt laughed and Tatum said, “Yeah, sure, we’ll make sure Tommy gets that message.” Hyatt said, “Wait a minute, next week you have your shot at the LCW Universal Championship. You’re going to be the new LCW Universal Champion when you beat Stone Cold Steve Austin.” Tatum stopped Hyatt and said he could be facing Bob Backlund if Backlund can beat Austin for the title tonight. They both laughed and Tatum said, “Yeah, you’re right. Man, can you imagine me beating Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the new LCW Universal Champion on the same night that Big Van Vader takes Tommy Rich. It’s all coming together, Missy.” Hyatt smiled and walked away with Tatum as the show went to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Sean Mooney was with LCW General Manager Harley Race, who announced that another Lady Legends match had been added to next week's Showdown. Ivory will have her first title defense against Luna Vachon in a no-holds barred match, but with one catch: If Akira Hokuto even shows her face during the match, Vachon will be disqualified and will not be granted another chance for the title as long as Ivory is champion.
LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Bob Backlund in 5:40 by pinfall after the Stone Cold Stunner. Before the match, the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship Magnum TA joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary.
