LCW Showdown Television Results 12.02.09

LCW Showdown Television Results (December 2, 2009) live from the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko reviewed footage from last Sunday night's LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view.

In the back, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown arriving to the arena earlier in the evening when he was attacked by the Desperados especially Stan Hansen and Austin's opponent in the Showdown Championship Draft Series tonight, Dirty Dutch Mantel.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Midnight Express (with Dennis Condrey) defeated the Rock 'n' Roll Express in 9:35 by pinfall when Bobby Eaton pinned Robert Gibson after the Rocket Launcher.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW Heritage Champion Bret Hart about regaining the LCW Heritage Championship last Sunday night at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view. Hart said the title had changed hands in the past few weeks, but it was back where it belonged.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Heritage Champion Bret Hart defeated Sgt. Slaughter in 6:31 by disqualification after Kevin Von Erich interfered and blasted Hart with a steel chair. After the match, Von Erich locked the Claw on Hart until Slaughter locked the Cobra Clutch on Von Erich and forced him to break the hold. Slaughter threw Von Erich from the ring before going to check on Hart.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Kevin Von Erich about attacking Bret Hart. Von Erich said he was going to prove that the Von Erich family was the most important and the most dominant family in professional wrestling. Von Erich said, "At least my family could stand me. They've all fallen, I'm the last survivor. I'm the last person left to make my family proud, the last person that can honor my family and make sure the family name lives on. But you, Bret Hart, you're family can't even stand you. You're a drama queen, a crybaby, and a loser. Jim Neidhart turned on you, the Dynamite Kid hates your guts. Everyone in your family, at one point or another has turned their back on you because they see you for what you really are: a loser. This thing between us isn't over, not by a long shot. This thing is just beginning and it's only going to end when I've proven to you and everybody else that Texas is better than Canada and the Von Erichs are better than the Harts."

LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff defeated Koko B. Ware in 5:41 by pinfall after the piledriver. After the match, Big Van Vader came out and attacked Orndorff, hitting him with a powerbomb. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone reminded everyone that as a result of the LCW Showdown Championship Draft, Vader would face Orndorff for the title next week on Showdown.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Col. DeBeers in 5:22 by pinfall after the powerslam.

On the LegendsTron, a special video featuring Lock's time in Legends Championship Wrestling including her winning the LCW Women's Championship last Sunday night at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view played as Nightwish’s “She's My Sin” played in the background.

In the back, Lock was shown making her through the arena corridor, clutching the LCW Women's Championship to her chest, laughing with an evil smile on her face. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, "The new LCW Women's Champion Lock will defend her title coming up next." As the show went to commercial, Larry Zbyszko could be heard saying, "If anyone can rip it away from her. Look at the grip she's got on that thing."

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Women's Champion Lock defeated Terri Powers in 6:21 by pinfall after the Lock Pick. Following her victory, Lock grabbed a microphone and promising that her reign as champion would actually last, unlike the two previous unworthy champions. She had herself a quick laugh and left.

In the back, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater passed by each other and each started blaming the other again for their loss last Sunday night at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view in which they lost to the Bass Brothers and are no longer able to team with each other. Orton and Slater both blamed each other for losing the LCW World Tag Team Championships earlier this month and the two men started to brawl. LCW General Manager Harley Race approached the two men and separated them and said that next week on LCW Showdown they'd face each other in a street fight match!

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin (with Precious) defeated Superfly Jimmy Snuka in 6:24 by pinfall after Bombs Away brainbuster suplex. Before the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone noted that both men will be challengers next week in matches next week in the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series.

In the back, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown making his way through the arena corridor as the show went to commercial.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Dirty Dutch Mantel (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) in 3:29 by disqualification after the Desperados interfered and attacked Austin. Magnum TA came out with a steel chair and cleared them out of the ring until it was down to just him and Stan Hansen. LCW General Manager Harley Race came out and announced that the match was now a tag team match featuring Austin and Magnum taking on Hansen and Mantel. Race noted that if Hansen or Mantel could pin Austin, Mantel would become the new LCW Universal Champion. Race said the match would begin right after the commercial break!

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and Magnum TA defeated Stan Hansen and Dirty Dutch Mantel (with Col. Robert Parker and Maw Bass) in 8:21 by pinfall when Austin pinned Hansen after the Stone Cold Stunner. During the match, Austin said something to Maw Bass and she fell to the ground. Col. Robert Parker yelled to the referee and accused Austin of striking Maw Bass. With the referee distracted and admonishing Austin for striking Maw Bass, Bill Goldberg came out and tried to hit Magnum with the Spear, but Magnum caught him and hit him with the belly-to-belly suplex. Goldberg rolled out of the ring and Hansen laid out Magnum with the Lariat clothesline. Hansen covered him for the pinfall, but Magnum managed to kickout. Hansen went to hit Magnum with another Lariat, but Magnum avoided the move and hit Hansen with the belly-to-belly suplex out of desperation. Magnum crawled over to Austin and tagged him in. Austin hit Hansen with the Stone Cold Stunner for the pinfall and the win.
