Tonight's episode of LCW Showdown is dedicated in loving memory to Eddie "Umaga" Fatu (1973-2009).

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena.

Akira Hokuto and Devil Masami (with Aja Kong and Dump Matsumoto) defeated Madusa and Jaguar Yokota (with Lioness Asuka and Chigusa Nagayo) in 7:45 by submission after Akira used Strangle Hold-Y on Yokota. Before the match, Luna Vachon joined Tony Shiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary. During the match, she belittled the LCW Joshi Campionship saying that Madusa is "really kidding herself to think she is the champion of anything with Akira's toy belt." After the match, Schiavone commented that Hokuto was gaining a lot of momentum for her rematch with two consecutive victories over the champion. Vachon said that Hokuto was only chasing after her toy and is deluding herself to what her true goal should be: the LCW Women's Championship, the title that she was going to do everything in her power to recover. Schiavone replied that Vachon should really watch what she says and that Hokuto would have no problem getting in the ring with her. Vachon laughed and said that anytime Hokuto wanted to prove to her that she was a true Lady Legend and not a spoiled little girl, she was ready but for the near future, the Women's Championship and vengeance are all that are on her mind. As Vachon left the announce area and walked up the entrance ramp, a burst of flame exploded from under the entrance stage and LCW Women's Champion Lock ran out and smashed Vachon with the title belt. Lock stood over her fallen sister on the ramp, held the belt up high and cackled in pure malice.

Watts said he knew how Williams felt, being beaten by a stronger, faster, younger man. Watts said Williams was beaten by a better man.
