Hart said he was “cautiously optimistic” and knew he was “entering at his own risk.” Suddenly, Stan Hansen appeared and attacked Austin, but Hart helped fend Hansen off until the Desperados appeared and attacked Hart and joined Hansen in attacked Austin. LCW General Manager Harley Race appeared with security officials and security pulled Hansen and the Desperados off of Austin and Hart. Race told Hansen to get a partner because he was talking on Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart in the main event in a tag team match!

LCW Women's Champion Lock and Madusa defeated LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto and Luna Vachon in 7:57 by pinfall after Lock pinned Vachon after the Lock, Stock, and Barrel. Madusa tagged in Lock who hit Vachon with the Lock, Stock, and Barrel for the pinfall and the win. Madusa and Lock climbed onto opposite turnbuckles to celebrate with the LCW fans, but they were interrupted by LCW General Manager Harley Race who came out and announced from the entrance stage, "Ladies, and I use that term loosely, I have some news that all four of you will be very interested in. Both Madusa and Luna Vachon will be getting their title rematches at Endgame. But with a special stipulation: both titles will be on the line at the same time as the four of you compete to see who will be the Unified Lady Legend's Champion." From ringside, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced LCW Founder and Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway who appeared on the LegendsTron. Calaway said, “After much consideration and soul searching, it is with a heavy heart that I announce to you tonight the discontinuation of weekly Legends Championship Wrestling programming, specifically the end of LCW Showdown. While we will continue with monthly pay-per-views, the last episode of LCW Showdown will be next week's show on December 30th. It has been an amazing four and a half years and I look forward to continuing to entertain you with creative, innovative storylines and honoring the legends of professional wrestling that we all love and miss seeing on a regular basis. Many of you will want to know why we're making this change. The answer is simple: after four and a half years of offering you weekly programming, as the primary creative force behind Legends Championship Wrestling, I am burnt out. If I can't give you 100% in every show, I don't want to present to you less than my best. Focusing on monthly shows will allow me to offer you the best I have to give while also giving me time to recharge my creative batteries. I am also shifting my focus to other projects and interests outside of professional wrestling. I love this business, but it is not my life and those projects and interests are starting to take up more of my time. That being said, this is not the end of Legends Championship Wrestling and weekly programming could return at anytime in the future. We hope you’ll stay with us and continue to support us as we continue to do our best to entertain you with our monthly pay-per-view events. Together, we'll make wrestling matter again.”
