LCW Showdown Television Official Preview 11.25.09: Road to Redemption

This week on LCW Showdown, every champion is in action defending their title as a result of the Showdown Championship Draft, a tag team returns to LCW Showdown for the first time in nearly a year and the road to LCW Redemption Day makes one final stop!

Shake, Rattle and Roll... into LCW Redemption Day:
This week, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin meets his final Showdown Championship Draft opponent before this Sunday's LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view: the Honky Tonk Man. Last week on Showdown, Austin's Redemption Day opponent Magnum TA (a former LCW Universal Champion himself) signed the contract for the pay-per-view match, but he doesn't know - yet - who he'll be facing. And though Austin managed to overcome Hollywood John Tatum last week, will it be the same story when he takes on the famed former WWF Intercontinental Champion this week? Or will it be the longest reigning Universal Champion in LCW history versus the longest Intercontinental Champion in WWF history this Sunday? Or will we see the presumed return match with two of the greatest talents in LCW history: Austin v. Magnum?! Find out this week.

Can Windham Win 'Em?
Paul Orndorff will have a keen eye on the LCW International Championship match this week – when reigning champion Barry Windham takes on Marty Jannetty – as he'll be facing the winner this Sunday. Windham won the LCW International Championship two weeks ago when he defeated Dr. Death Steve Williams after interference from Bill Goldberg. Orndorff's contender status came with a win in the Sam Muchnick Memorial Battle Royal at LCW Showdown at the Chase. The question is, who will Orndorff face on Sunday?

Tag Team Returns to Gold?
LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater may have been served more than they can digest this Wednesday. As, in accordance with the Showdown Championship Draft drawings, they will face returning duo of Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, the Midnight Express. The legendary duo's biggest success came with the guidance of legend in his own right James E. Cornette back in the 1980s in the legendary Mid-South Wrestling promotion (run then by the legendary Cowboy Bill Watts). They were last seen nearly a year ago at the LCW Endgame 2008 pay-per-view, losing the LCW World Tag Team Championships to then-challengers the Nasty Boys. Will they have better luck upon their return?

Also This Week:
- LCW Heritage Champion King Kong Bundy will defend his title against Kevin Von Erich.
- LCW United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham, fresh off becoming the champion last week, faces Tully Blanchard. But where will Stan Hansen be?
- Last week, Madusa beat LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto to become Joshi Champion, while Luna Vachon won the LCW Women's Champion from Ivory in a No Holds Barred match. As the Lady Legends get ready for LCW Endgame, what will happen next?
- Will things continue to explode between Macho Man Randy Savage and Dynamite Kid?
