LCW Showdown Television Official Preview: Gold Rush!

With five weeks left in the LCW Showdown Championship Draft Series, and all the titles on the line, will more titles change hands again this week?

Universal Title Goes Hollywood?
This week on LCW Showdown, in accordance with the Showdown Championship Draft, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin will put up his most coveted title against Hollywood John Tatum. Last week, as LCW Redemption Day opponent Magnum TA looked on, and just days after Showdown at the Chase, Austin put away Bob Backlund in under 6 minutes. Can Austin, who had held the Universal Championship since July 12, retain the title once more? If Tatum, a former LCW Television Champion, has anything to say, Austin will be leaving Showdown without his title.

Power of the Pinfall = Championship Gold:

This week, LCW World Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater put their titles up for grabs against the Powers of Pain. The Powers of Pain, former
two-time LCW World Tag Team Champions and former three-time LCW United States Tag Team Champions have always battled their critics, but recently the team has been battling stagnation, having not been seen on LCW Showdown in quite some time. The Powers of Pain are back and Mr. Fuji has assured everyone who will listen that his team will once again be LCW World Tag Team Champions.

Barry Windham Beats Death:
Last week, with help from Bill Goldberg, Barry Windham proved how unpredictable the Showdown Championship Draft Series can be when he unseated Dr. Death Steve Williams as the LCW International Champion. With Williams and Goldberg set on a collision course for the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view on Sunday, November 29th, Windham continues on in the Showdown Championship Draft Series to face Black Bart this week. Will the Desperados add more gold to their stable or will J.J. Dillon be able to give Windham the tools needed to beat his former charge, Black Bart.

Heritage Hot Potato:

Last week, like the week before, the LCW Heritage Championship changed hands when King Kong Bundy took the title from Macho Man Randy Savage, after former champion Dynamite Kid attacked Savage and cost him the belt. This week, Bundy, the new champion, goes one-on-one with Paul Orndorff. Orndorff rides a wave of momentum heading into the weeks title match, as he already has a guaranteed LCW International Championship match at LCW Redemption Day. Last week, Orndorff promised to walk into Redemption Day a champion and leave a double champion. Can that prediction prove true?!

United States Superstar:

Superstar Billy Graham will get a shot at the LCW United States Championship against current title holder Stan Hansen. Hansen managed to win the belt two weeks ago, defeating the, until then, dominant former champion Diamond Dallas Page. As a new week in the Showdown Championship Draft Series sets in, the former WWWF Champion, Graham, looks to snag a victory and a title this week.

Also, Watch Out For:

- LCW Women's Champion Ivory defends her title in a no holds barred match against Luna Vachon.

- In other Lady Legends' action, the LCW Joshi Champion Akira Hokuto will defend her title against Madusa Micelli.

- Will Magnum TA have anything to say about his LCW Universal title match at Redemption Day?
- Will Randy Savage be on the war path, after the Dynamite Kid?!

All this and much, MUCH more only on LCW Showdown this Wednesday!
