LCW Showdown Television Results 03.25.09

LCW Showdown Television Results (March 25, 2009) live from XL Center in Hartford, CT.

Tonight’s episode of LCW Showdown is dedicated in loving memory to Steve Doll (December 9, 1960-March 22, 2009) and Abismo Negro (July 1, 1971-March 22, 2009).

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone and Zbyszko reviewed the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view last Sunday. Schiavone and Zbyszko talked about the debut of Bill Goldberg in Legends Championship Wrestling and his attack on LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA.

LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA came out and called out Bill Goldberg. LCW Chairman of the Board Ted Turner came out with LCW General Manager Eric Bischoff and Bill Goldberg. Turner said if there was one thing he had learned about professional wrestling it was that you save the big money match for the pay-per-view. Turner then announced that at the LCW Torment pay-per-view on April 12th, LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA would defend his title against Bill Goldberg! As the audience exploded at the announcement, Nikita Koloff came out and challenged Bill Goldberg to a match tonight and the audience exploded again! Koloff said when Goldberg attacked his friend he attacked him as well. Goldberg told Koloff to bring it on and warned Magnum that he was next.

Maw Bass slapped Parker across the face and Parker retreated into the ring, still yelling at Maw Bass as she yelled back at him from the floor. Meanwhile, the Nasty Boys noticed that Parker had gotten in the ring, grabbed him, and hit him with the Pit Stop before Parker rolled out of the ring and ran up the entrance ramp to get away from the Nasty Boys.
