LCW Showdown Television Results 02.06.08

LCW Showdown Television Results (February 6, 2008) live from the Miami Arena in Miami, FL.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena.

In the back, LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived in his black pickup truck and was immediately approached by LCW General Manager Ole Anderson who informed him that he would be facing Big Van Vader and Tully Blanchard in a tag team match with any partner of his choice. Austin said, "I don't need a tag team partner to beat the asses of those two dumb sons of bitches!" Anderson said to Austin, "Don't try to be a hero, jackass! Find a partner or I'll find one for you...and if I have to find a partner for you, it might not be someone you like." Anderson walked away.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Wild Samoans defeated Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson (with Slick) in 2:04 by disqualification after the Powers of Pain, with their manager Paul Jones, interfered and attacked The Wild Samoans. After the match, Atlas, Johnson, and the Powers of Pain continued to attack the Wild Samoans. The Skyscrapers came out and got into the ring. Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey looked at Atlas, Johnson, and the Powers of Pain for a moment as Paul Jones and Slick invited them to join in attacking the Wild Samoans, but, instead, the Skyscrapers attacked Atlas, Johnson, and the Powers of Pain. The Wild Samoans regained their senses and cleared Atlas and Johnson out of the ring and brawled with them on the floor as the Skyscrapers brawled with the Powers of Pain in the ring. LCW General Manager Ole Anderson came out and sent security to ringside to restore order. Anderson, from the entrance stage as security officials at ringside separated the four teams, announced that the match would resume, but it would resume under fatal four way rules with all four teams facing each other in the center of the ring. Anderson added that it would be a non-title match, an announcement that angered Slick and Paul Jones. However, Anderson added that the winning team would receive a shot at the LCW World Tag Team Championships next week on LCW Showdown. Jones and Slick seemed pleased with the announcement. Anderson added that if the Wild Samoans won, they would get to choose their opponents at the LCW Descent pay-per-view on February 24th. Anderson told the referee to ring the bell and wished the three challengers good luck before walking through the curtain and to the back. The four men started brawling again as the referee attempted to regain control and, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said the match would resume after the commercial break.

After the match, Slick tried to celebrate with Parsons, but Parsons pushed Slick down to the mat and walked out saying, "I didn't want to win that way!" As Parsons left the ring, Slick got back to his feet, but was met with a Flying Burrito before Fernandez left him lying unconsciousness in the center of the ring. After the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, "The foundation of the Brothahood continues to disintegrate from the inside. When will Slick give up and realize that the wall of racial separation that Slick has tried to build with the Brothahood is breaking down!"

On the LegendsTron, LCW United States Champion Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll were shown arriving at the drug rehabilitation facility where Jake Roberts spent the last nine weeks recovering from his substance abuse issues. Blanchard opened the door of the facility and was immediately met by two large security officials who asked him to leave and said they didn't want any trouble. Blanchard said, "We just came here to wish Mr. Roberts the best upon his release from rehab." The security officials said only family could be there to greet the patients upon their release. Baby Doll spoke up and said, "Oh, but I am family. I'm his sister-in-law." The security guard asked Blanchard if he was Roberts' brother and he said, "Oh…uh…yeah, of course! I'm his brother. Well, his half-brother actually, but I'm family. I'm Sam Houston, the snot nosed little bastard half-brother of Jake The Snake Roberts." A female doctor appeared from behind the security guards and said, "You're not Sam Houston. You're Tully Blanchard, and while you are a bastard, you are most certainly not Jake Roberts' brother. Hell, from the way he talks I can most certainly say that you're not even a friend of his." The doctor then turned to Baby Doll and said, "You, however, are family. Mr. Roberts has talked a lot about you during his time here. Not anything to do with his substance abuse, but every time he talked about being betrayed, you're name was always brought up. Sad really, that the one person he thought that he had left that he could trust was the first one to betray him when the opportunity presented itself." Baby Doll moved to get in the doctor's face, but Blanchard held her back. The doctor said, "I suggested you both leave before I'm forced to call the police." Blanchard said, "That won't be necessary. We'll leave, but tell Jake that I'll be seeing him soon." Blanchard and Baby Doll left and got back into the limousine that brought them to the rehab facility while the cameraman stayed behind. As the doctor watched the limousine drive away, Roberts appeared from behind the doctor and the security guards and the doctor asked him, "Jake, you're going to kick his ass, right?" Roberts looked towards the limousine as it drove away in the distance and said, "I don't know, doc. I don't know."

Madusa Micelli came out and challenged LCW Women's Champion Luna Vachon for a title match tonight. Vachon came out and asked Madusa who she had beaten to make her think she deserved a title shot saying, "Because I've beaten every single woman in Legends Championship Wrestling." Madusa said it didn't matter who she had beaten, the only thing that matter was who she was going to beat and she was going to beat Luna Vachon and she was going to beat her for the title. Luna Vachon said she would have to get through someone else first, someone she had selected, someone from Japan…Bull Nakano! As Vachon made her way down the entrance ramp with Vachon, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, "Bull Nakano and Madusa Micelli when we return after this commercial break. Don't you go anywhere!"

Madusa and Nakano then realized they were in the ring alone together. Madusa extended her hand for a handshake and Nakano accepted the handshake and then raised Madusa's hand in the air. Fuji said the titles looked nice and that her trainer Tojo Yamamoto would be proud of her, but he said, "You may be train by Yamamoto-san, but you still little girl and wrestling no place for little girls. Amazon stood up and said, "Well, Fuji-san, let me explain something to you: wrestling may be no place for a little girl, but this little girl is about to kick your ass." Amazon then slapped Fuji across the face and walked away with the title belts. After she left, a sly smile appeared across Fuji's face as he held his face where Amazon slapped him.

In the back, medical officials washed out and wrapped LCW Heritage Champion Jesse Ventura's eyes after having Killer Khan spit his mist in Ventura's eyes. LCW General Manager Ole Anderson appeared and asked if there was anything he could do for Ventura and Ventura said he could get him a match with Killer Khan next week. Anderson said he couldn't do that because Khan was actually already booked in a 20-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for the LCW Heritage Championship. Anderson said hopefully Khan would win so Ventura could get some revenge. Ventura said, "Oh, he's going to win. I guarantee it!"

After the pinfall, at ringside, Piper and O'Shaunessy stared at each other for a moment as O'Shaunessy blocked Piper's exit from ringside. However, O'Shaunessy eventually stepped aside and got in the ring to help Poffo as Piper up the entrance ramp to the back.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Koko B. Ware who said, "I knew I was going to be a target after everything I did during my time in the Brothahood, but I didn't think the Honky Tonk Man was going to blindside me out of nowhere with his guitar, but Honky Tonk Man, if that's the tune you want to play, you're going find out that I'm not a one hit wonder. I'm starting with Greg Valentine tonight and then I'm going to have my second hit on the road to gold with you, Honky Tonk Man."
