LCW Showdown Television Results 12.19.07
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown. Meanwhile, in the arena parking lot, a limousine arrived and former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway got out of the limousine. Schiavone said, "What is he doing here? Former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway is in the building!" Calaway started making his way through the arena corridors and the cameras followed him as he made his way to the ring. Schiavone asked, "Is he coming to the ring? Is he really coming to the ring? He's not even supposed to be here." Zbyszko said, "Well, he is here, but what I want to know is where Austin is?" Ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced him as "former LCW Chairman of the Board" as he made his way down the entrance ramp and then handed Calaway the microphone before he got in the ring. After standing in the ring for a few seconds, Calaway started to notice that there was actually more cheering than booing from the audience which grew into more cheering and Schiavone attributed the response to their respect for what he's created with Legends Championship Wrestling. Calaway thanked the audience and said, "Tonight, I'm here for one reason and one reason only. But before we get to that, I want to thank the LCW Board of Directors for allowing me to be here tonight because tonight I will be meeting with some of the potential candidates, some of the men, and maybe even a woman or two, that I'm considering as the potential replacement of me as Chairman of the Board. But let me reassure all of you as well as the Board of Directors that my replacement will only need to serve temporarily because I am meeting daily with my lawyers and I will be back as the Chairman of the Board one day." The audience actually cheered and Calaway thanked the audience. Just as Calaway was about to hand the microphone back to ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta and leave the ring, Dr. Death Steve Williams' entrance theme began to play and he came out with his manager, and former LCW Commissioner, Cowboy Bill Watts and they stood together on the entrance stage. Watts said, "Mr. Calaway, welcome back. I know you and I haven't always gotten along. As a matter of fact, when you ran into financial difficulties two years ago and had to sell the company, I was in Ted Turner's Administration when he was the Chairman of the Board and I did everything I could to make sure that you didn't return to your position, but of course, you did and I appreciated your forgiving me at the time and allowing me to continue working here in Legends Championship Wrestling. And since we're having a little history lesson here, let me just take a moment and respectfully remind you that I have a little experience at running a company. About 30 years ago, I ran one of the most popular and successful wrestling territories in the world, Mid-South Wrestling which eventually became the Universal Wrestling Federation. And let's not forget that I was also the Executive Vice President of WCW. But tonight, tonight isn't about the past, is it? No, tonight is about the future. And I want to talk to you about that future. Tonight, I want to officially submit my name for consideration as the new Chairman of the Board." The audience exploded with boos and Calaway said, "Well, I've got to say, it's an impressive resume and you know that in spite of our past and our own personal difference…I'll consider it." Watts invited Calaway to watch Dr. Death Steve Williams' match, which was up next, from ringside. Calaway agreed and Williams and Watts made their way to the ring for the match.

Dr. Death Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) defeated Billy Jack Haynes in 6:04 by pinfall after the Oklahoma Stampede. After the match, Calaway nodded his impressed approval at Williams' performance towards Watts and then left ringside.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko announced that Jake Roberts was not in the arena and that Baby Doll had informed LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com that Roberts had checked into a drug treatment facility for nine weeks and his future in Legends Championship Wrestling was unsure. Schiavone said it was not known if he would appear at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view this Sunday as scheduled to face LCW Heritage Champion Butch Reed.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW Heritage Champion Butch Reed who was with his manager Slick. Slick said that it doesn't matter if Roberts shows up or not this Sunday because the outcome is going to be the same: Reed is going to walk away the champion.
In the back, another limousine arrived and former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway arrived to meet the limousine. The limousine door opened and Eric Bischoff stepped out and shook hands with Calaway as the show went to commercial.

In an office in the back, former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway met with Eric Bischoff and they discussed Bischoff's past in the business including the creation of WCW Monday Nitro and his time as the WWE Raw General Manager. There was a knock on the door and Calaway opened the door and Missy Hyatt was standing there. Calaway invited Hyatt in and said, "I just had to see if what I had heard in the back was true. I can't believe you're even considering this…this asshole as the new Chairman of the Board when you could have the First Lady of Professional Wrestling as the Chairwoman of the Board." Calaway said, "You know what, I'm going to give the both of you the chance to settle this in the ring tonight. I'm putting a representative of your choosing, Mr. Bischoff, in the ring with an opponent of your choosing Ms. Hyatt. I want you both to find someone to represent you in the ring. Now, it won’t determine my decision, but how you manage your respective representative may help to influence my decision on whom I believe can manage the company." Hyatt said, "I hope you have someone because I have the perfect person in mind to represent me." Bischoff said, "Yeah, I'm sure I can find someone. As a matter of fact, I think I've got my representative on speed dial." Hyatt said, "Whatever…asshole!" Hyatt then stormed out as Calaway and Bischoff watched her leave.
Macho Man Randy Savage came out with his bodyguard Sheamus O'Shaunessy and his brother The Genius Lanny Poffo and got into the ring. Savage complained about Austin attacking O'Shaunessy and Poffo last week on Showdown while he was wrestling Wildfire Tommy Rich. Savage said it was a setup contrived by interim Chairman of the Board Nick Bockwinkel. Savage said Bockwinkel was out to get him and that Bockwinkel was on Austin's side. Bockwinkel came out and said he wasn't on anyone's side and he wasn't out to get anyone and would prove it tonight. Bockwinkel said Austin proved that he could handle himself with O'Shaunessy and Poffo so tonight LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin would face them in a handicap match. Savage had a shocked look on his face and then smiled. Bockwinkel said, "Don't smile too soon, Randy, because if you attack Austin during the match tonight, you will be sacrificing your championship title shot this Sunday at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view against Austin." Savage was angry, but his brother reassured him that he and O'Shaunessy would take care of Austin tonight.

Missy Hyatt came out and got into the ring and introduced her representative to try and impress former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway for the Chairman of the Board position. She introduced her representative…Hollywood John Tatum! After Tatum got into the ring with Hyatt, Eric Bischoff came out and mockingly said, "Oh, no, Missy, you've really showed me. I don't know if I can do any better than…John Tatum?" Bischoff laughed and said, "Hollywood? Let me ask you, John Tatum: what did you ever do in Hollywood? Hell, for that matter, what did you ever do in wrestling?" Bischoff laughed hysterically again as the audience booed, but that quickly changed when Bischoff announced his representative: LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page!
LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page (with Eric Bischoff) defeated Hollywood John Tatum (with Missy Hyatt) in 7:27 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter in a non-title match. During the match, Tully Blanchard and Kimberly Page came out to watch the match from the entrance ramp. After it failed to get Page's attention or distract him, Kimberly yelled, "Kiss me." Blanchard looked shocked and asked Kimberly if she was sure and Kimberly yelled, "Kiss me, damn it!!!" Kimberly then grabbed Blanchard's face and started making out with him. From the broadcast booth, Schiavone said, "Oh, come on! This is a mind game if I've ever seen one. This is simply Kimberly and Tully Blanchard trying to do everything they can to get into the mind of Diamond Dallas Page, get into his head, before their match at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view this Sunday." It worked as Page turned his attention to the entrance stage and the momentary distraction allowed Tatum to attack Page and gain the upper hand. Blanchard and Kimberly, feeling they had accomplished their mission, left the entrance stage and went back to the back. After the match, Bischoff got in the ring and raised Page's arm in the air and then went on to taunt Missy Hyatt as she helped Tatum out of the ring and up the entrance ramp. Bischoff said, "Missy Hyatt, when Calaway names me as the new Chairman of the Board, and after proving myself with this match I'm sure he will, I'm going to clean house and yours is going to be the first name on the list so you can go back to your little website, MissyHyatt.com, and do what you do best: shut your mouth and show some skin." Page didn't seem pleased with Bischoff's comments and when Bischoff dropped the microphone and turned around, Page hit Bischoff with the Diamond Cutter out of nowhere and then left the ring.

In the back, Kimberly Page and Tully Blanchard were laughing about distracting Diamond Dallas Page and getting into his head and playing mind games with him by making out with each other and costing and Diamond Dallas Page a win. A staff member overheard this and said, "Guys, DDP just defeated Hollywood John Tatum." Blanchard and Kimberly couldn't believe it and Blanchard said, "Maybe if we made out again…," and put his arm around Kimberly. She got a disgusted look on her face and said, "Tully, get off me," and then stormed off. After she left, Kimberly could be heard screaming and there was a thud off camera and Blanchard ran around the corner to see what had happened. Kimberly was lying on the floor unconscious after being thrown into a steel door by Baby Doll. As Baby Doll stood over the fallen Kimberly, Blanchard grabbed Baby Doll by the arm and asked her what she did, but before it could escalate former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway approached and stared at each of them as they stared at each other and then looked at him. Calaway just shook his head in disgust and disappointment in the two former Entourage members and then walked away as security officials arrived to keep Baby Doll and Blanchard apart and as medical officials arrived to check on Kimberly.
LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Sheepherders defeated The Midnight Express in 5:20 by pinfall when Butch Miller pinned Dennis Condrey after the Battering Ram.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed the Rock 'n' Roll Express and their manager Lady Amazon said tonight they were going to continue on their path to tag team gold when they defeat the Rougeau Brothers. Amazon reminded Mooney that the Rock 'n' Roll Express were undefeated since returning to Legends Championship Wrestling. Mooney asked Amazon about the Powers of Pain and she said, "Did you hear what I just said? I said, 'undefeated', and if the Powers of Pain want to be another name on that list, that's fine with the Rock 'n' Roll Express. And if Paul Jones wants a piece of the action, just get in my face you little toad. Don't let the lipstick fool you, Paul Jones, I will kick your ass if you get in my way or if you try to put the Powers of Pain in the way of the Rock 'n' Roll Express."
In the back, Paul Jones, with the Powers of Pain, could be seen talking with Jimmy Hart, with the Rougeau Brothers, as the show went to commercial.

The Rock 'n' Roll Express (with Lady Amazon) defeated The Rougeau Brothers (with Jimmy Hart) in 2:17 by disqualification after the Powers of Pain, with their manager Paul Jones, interfered and attacked the Rock 'n' Roll Express. The referee tried to stop them, but Paul Jones threw him out of the ring. Lady Amazon got into the ring and tackled Paul Jones, but the Powers of Pain grabbed her and threw her out of the ring and she fell to the floor hard. The Powers of Pain continued to attack the Rock 'n' Roll Express until security officials came out and pulled them out of the ring. Interim Chairman of the Board Nick Bockwinkel came out and announced that the Rock 'n' Roll Express and the Powers of Pain would face each other at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view this Sunday in a match to determine the number one contenders for the LCW United States Tag Team Championships. Bockwinkel added that if the Rock 'n' Roll Express win the match, not only will they become the number one contenders for the LCW United States Tag Team Championships, but Lady Amazon will get five minutes in the ring with Paul Jones. Kevin Sullivan (with LCW Women's Champion Luna Vachon) defeated Superstar Billy Graham (with Madusa Micelli) in 3:19 by pinfall after Stan Hansen interfered and hit Graham with his cowbell while Luna and Madusa brawled outside the ring, distracting the referee. As Hansen left ringside, he spit his chew on Madusa before making his way up the entrance ramp and to the back.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin and Precious about Tom Zenk and Sunshine. Interim Chairman of the Board Nick Bockwinkel appeared and said that Tom Zenk wanted a match with Garvin, but he had suggested something else to Tom Zenk and Zenk had agreed. Bockwinkel presented his suggestion to Garvin: a mixed tag team match at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view this Sunday featuring Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin and Precious against Tom Zenk and Sunshine. Garvin thought about it and whispered something in Precious' ear and Precious whispered something back and Garvin said, "Now that I like!" Garvin said, "All right, you tell that punk Tom Zenk that he's got himself a match if, and it's a big if, it he agrees that if he loses the match, which I can personally guarantee he will, if he loses the match, Sunshine has to leave Legends Championship Wrestling." Bockwinkel said he would present it to Zenk and let Garvin know. Garvin said, "Yeah, you do that," as Bockwinkel walked away.

Heyman said he'd love an opportunity to impress Calaway tonight as Eric Bischoff had earlier. Calaway asked what he had in mind and Heyman said he brought someone with him, someone who was ready for a fight. Calaway said it sounded good to him and the two men shook hands and Heyman left the office.
LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez came out for his match against Paul Heyman's representative in an attempt to impress former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway. Heyman came out and asked Fernandez if he was ready to be personally introduced to extreme by the "Hardcore Icon"…The Sandman! However, the match never happened because, as the Sandman was making his traditional entrance to the ring through the crowd, Iceman King Parsons came out and blasted Fernandez with a steel chair. The Sandman got into the ring and blasted Parsons with his Singapore cane, knocking him out of the ring before leaving with Heyman.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Interim Chairman of the Board Nick Bockwinkel who announced that because of the intensity of the animosity between Magnum TA and Big Van Vader, their upcoming match at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view this Sunday would be a steel cage match!

After the match, Randy Savage ran into the ring and O'Shaunessy hit Austin with another FRH. Savage said, "Bockwinkel, you said I couldn't attack Austin during the match, and I didn't, but you didn't say anything about attacking Austin after the match." Savage then climbed up to the top rope and hit Austin with the flying elbow smash. Poffo grabbed the LCW Universal Championship from ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta and handed it to Savage. Savage held it over the fallen Austin and said, 'In four days, this title is going to be where it really belongs…back around my waist again. Oooohh, yeah!!!" Savage dropped the title on Austin's chest before leaving the ring with O'Shaunessy and Poffo.
