LCW Showdown Television Results 10.31.07
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown from the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England. Schiavone said, "Every time we travel abroad, it's a special occasion, but this time is different because we are only one week removed from one of the most explosive, no pun intended, most shocking moments in the short, albeit already storied, history of Legends Championship Wrestling. LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway was shot twice last week on LCW Showdown by The Iron Sheik after being held hostage with Baby Doll for the better part of the two hour show. Calaway was shot once in the shoulder and once in the chest. After being shot, he was immediately rushed to the hospital and immediately put into surgery where the bullet in his shoulder was quickly removed. The bullet in his chest, however, caused complications. Before determining that it was too risky to remove and giving up during a second surgery to remove the bullet, Calaway actually died twice while on the operating table, and doctors decided to leave the bullet in his chest because the bullet was 'dangerously close' to his heart. The Chairman of the Board is recovering and will be appearing tonight, live via satellite, from his hospital bed." Zbyszko said, "Like him or not, Tony, and I know we've both had our issues with Calaway in the past, but what happened last week was just uncalled for. We're professional wrestlers, we're in the professional wrestling business, and what happened last week was not professional wrestling. It was just uncalled for. I'm glad The Iron Sheik is gone. I'm glad he's out of here. He's a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode and I'm just glad that none of us are going to be collateral damage when he explodes again." Schiavone announced that Calaway, shockingly, had not sought to press charges against The Iron Sheik, but that his firing from LCW stood and a restraining order had been filed by Calaway and Legends Championship Wrestling against The Iron Sheik to keep him at least 500 feet away from Calaway and from any arena that LCW is appearing in.
Slick came out with LCW World Tag Team Champions Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson, LCW Heritage Champion Butch Reed, and Koko B. Ware. Slick said, "I promised Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas that if they signed with me, if they joined the Brothahood, they would have gold around their waists by the end of the year and look at this…" Johnson and Atlas unbuttoned their sport coats to reveal the LCW World Tag Team Championships. Slick continued, "Look at that, just as I promised. Man, gold always looks better on a brotha. And I'm not done yet! Last week, I brought more gold to the Brothahood when Butch Reed won the LCW Heritage Championship from Magnum TA." Reed took off his sport coat to reveal the LCW Heritage Championship. Now, we had a little setback last week when Koko B. Ware failed to get the LCW Universal Championship from Stone Cold Steve Austin, but there were extenuating circumstances. But we're going to get some gold around the Birdman's waist as well real soon. I want to make one thing perfectly clear: this isn't the Nation of Domination! Those guys didn't dominate a damn thing. This is the Brothahood, these are the real dominators (pointing to Johnson, Atlas, Reed, and Ware) and our reign of domination has just begun, baby!" The Brothahood left the ring together.
In the back, Tom Zenk, wearing a baseball cap after getting his head shaved by Brutus Beefcake, approached Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin, Precious, and Sunshine, to discuss their upcoming tag team match against LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page and Brutus Beefcake. Tom Zenk kept flirting with Sunshine and Garvin grabbed his arm and said, "Keep your eyes and your hands off my cousin and we're going to get along just fine." Garvin and Precious walked away and Sunshine said, "That all right, Z-Man. I think bald guys are sexy," and she kissed him on the cheek before walking away. Z-Man then took off his hat and followed after her.

Vader said it was Vader time and then walked out with Race.

In the back, Slick approached Dark Journey and said he needed a "sista" like her in The Brothahood. Slick said he had someone who needed her, "shall we say…services." Dark Journey said she would do whatever she could to help out the Brothahood. They walked away together.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW International Champion Hulk Hogan, who was without his manager Bobby Heenan, said he had defeated everyone in Legends Championship Wrestling and had nothing to prove, but he had to defend his title so he was throwing out an open challenge to anyone next week who wanted to step into the ring and prove they were worthy to face him. He said he was going to have an open invitational battle royal next week on LCW Showdown and the winner would get the chance to face him for the LCW International Championship at LCW Redemption Day on November 25th.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW Heritage Champion Butch Reed and Slick as they celebrated with new LCW Television Champion Koko B. Ware and Dark Journey. Slick said he had not only kept his promise and put gold on every member of the Brothahood, but he had also done it in record time. Slick said, "To every black man in professional wrestling, there's still plenty of gold in Legends Championship Wrestling. If you've ever been ignored because your black or had to deal with racist promoters who kept you down, come to LCW, join the Brothahood, and we'll get you some gold!" The Genius Lanny Poffo appeared and said that Koko B. Ware wouldn't have that title if it wasn't for him. Poffo said he hit Hall so hard that he not only allowed Ware to win the title, but he heard that he sent Scott Hall out of LCW and he's headed back to TNA with his tail between his legs. Poffo said, "Some men just can't handle being a legend." Poffo said he wanted the first title shot against Ware. Slick said, "As much as I appreciate what you've done for the Brothahood, my vanilla chocolate brotha, I have no doubt that Koko B. Ware would have won the title even without your help. And aside from attacking guys from behind with that metal scroll, I haven't seen you beat anybody since you got to Legends Championship Wrestling. So why don't you beat someone and then we can talk about you getting a title shot against the new LCW Television Champion Koko B. Ware." Poffo said, "We'll just see about that," and then walked off. Slick then on to Big Van Vader and said Vader wasn't going to get a shot at the LCW Heritage Championship, but Slick suggested that maybe Big Van Vader and Magnum TA should face each other at LCW Redemption Day on November 25th to determine the new number one contender. Reed said that sounded like a good idea adding that tonight he was more focused on extinguishing the fuse of the Dynamite Kid. Slick, Reed, Ware and Dark Journey all walked away together.
Sam Houston and LCW Women's Champion Rockin' Robin defeated Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon in 5:32 by pinfall when Houston pinned Sullivan with a rollup after Vachon accidentally hit Sullivan with a punch after Rockin' Robin, who was being held in position by Sullivan, moved out of the way. Robin then brawled with Vachon as Houston rolled Sullivan up for the pinfall and the win.

LCW World Tag Team Champions Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas (with Slick) defeated The Killer Bees in 4:01 by pinfall when Atlas pinned Blair after a gorilla press slam. After the match, The Hart Foundation appeared and said they were former tag team champions and they deserved a shot at the titles. They challenged Johnson and Atlas to a match for next week on LCW Showdown. Slick accepted the challenge, but added that it would be a non-title match. Slick said, "You guys need to prove that you are worthy of evening facing The Brothahood before we even think about giving you a title shot."

LCW Heritage Champion Butch Reed (with Slick, Dark Journey Koko B. Ware, Rocky Johnson, and Tony Atlas) defeated The Dynamite Kid (with Big Van Vader, Harley Race, and Magnum TA) by pinfall at 7:40 after the diving shoulder block. Before the match, The Dynamite Kid stopped on the entrance ramp and saw that he was outnumbered at ringside. During the match, Rocky Johnson, Tony Atlas, and Koko B. Ware tried to interfere, but Big Van Vader and Magnum TA brawled with them at ringside. After neutralizing Johnson, Atlas, and Ware, Vader and Magnum started shoving each other which distracted Dynamite Kid and when he turned around Reed hit him with the diving shoulder block for the pinfall and the win.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko introduced LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway who appeared on the LegendsTron live via satellite from his hospital bed. Calaway said he wished he could be in Manchester, England, but the doctors wouldn't allow him to fly. He said that being shot had changed him in ways he had never imagined, but more than being shot, dying twice on the hospital bed changed him. Calaway said he had learned how fragile life was and said he was rededicating himself to living his life to the fullest. Calaway said he was disbanding the Entourage because they had failed to protect him. He said his security officials also failed to protect him. Calaway said he was getting on a cruise ship right after the interview and would be going to Dublin, Ireland next week for LCW Showdown. Calaway said since no one was able to protect him, he was going to one of the toughest, roughest, meanest cities in the world to find someone to protect him. Calaway said, "So, I'm sending out an S.O.S., to anyone tough enough, mean enough, strong enough, to protect me because it's become evident to me that this descendent of Irish immigrants needs a real Irishman to watch my back. Next week, on LCW Showdown, I'm coming back a changed man and I've said over and over again that I'm the most powerful man in professional wrestling. I've said time and time again that I'm the power, but now I'm going to use my power to change the world of professional wrestling. Get ready, because the world as you know it will never be the same again."
In the back, Nikita Koloff, Superstar Billy Graham, and Tully Blanchard were sitting in the back watching the interview on a monitor and Blanchard asked, "Did he say he was disbanding the Entourage? What does that mean for us?" Graham said, "It means we're on our own now." Koloff said, "Sounds good to me. I like being alone anyway." Koloff walked away and Graham said to Blanchard, "See you around, brother" before walking away leaving Blanchard alone.
