From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown and discussed LCW Night of Horrors (click here for the complete results) and the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin won the LCW Universal Championship from Nikita Koloff.
LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out with former LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and focused on Tony Schiavone saying, "I said that I was going to hold you personally responsible for Koloff losing the title if he did, and unfortunately he did, because you said, as he entered the arena last Sunday night, that that could be the last time he enters as champion and, unfortunately, it was. I blame you Schiavone! You jinxed him! You put the bad mojo in the air! And damn it, tonight you're going to pay because tonight you're going to step into that ring…one on one…with Nikita Koloff!"
Butch Reed (with Slick) defeated LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA in 11:58 by pinfall after a running shoulder tackle after Slick broke his cane over Magnum's back to win the LCW Heritage Championship. After the match, new LCW World Tag Team Champions Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas came out with Koko B. Ware to celebrate with Slick and Reed. Slick grabbed a microphone and said, "I told all of you I was going to do it, and in less than a week, I've managed to get the LCW World Tag Team Championships and now I have the LCW Heritage Championship. That means the only other person who needs gold in the Brothahood is Koko B. Ware and tonight he's going to get that opportunity because tonight I've managed to secure a title shot for Koko B. Ware with the new LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and tonight it looks like I'll be managing the new LCW Universal Champion when Koko B. Ware hits Austin with the Ghettoblaster and take his new title. Austin, don't get any redneck on that title because it's coming to the Brothahood, baby!"
