In a dark, empty locker room, LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA sat alone and said, "Two weeks ago on LCW Showdown, Stan Hansen attacked me and cost me a chance to be the number one contender for the LCW International Championship at Night of Horrors. The only thing I can think is that Stan Hansen must be a glutton for punishment, he must be addicted to pain, and he must be obsessed with his own suffering. Because it wasn't enough when I hit him with the belly-to-belly suplex off the entrance stage at LCW Beach Brawl in July and sent back to Japan on a gurney so he could recuperate. No, that wasn't enough because while he was resting at home in Japan, he was shooting his mouth off about how I was in his sights and how he was going to take me out. Well, you didn't take me out Stan Hansen. You just pissed me off. I was done with you at Beach Brawl. But last week, you went and challenged me to a bullrope match, you threatened to hang me in a noose. Well, I accept your challenge for that bullrope match at LCW Night of Horrors in two week. But this time, I'm sending you back to back to Japan, but this time it's not going to be on a gurney, I'm sending you back to Japan in a box!" Magnum threw down the microphone and walked away.

Hyatt said, "Let them prove to you that they're worthy. Give them a number one contender's match. I guarantee you they won't let you down." Bockwinkel announced a number one contender match at LCW Night of Horrors. Bockwinkel said, "Let them prove it against a team who beat them last week on LCW Showdown. Let them prove it against the Bushwhackers." Missy looked puzzled and said, "Are you…are you sure? You…don't want to put them against anyone more…challenging…like…anyone?" Bockwinkel said, "I think the Bushwhackers will do just fine. And after what I saw last week on Showdown, I think you'd do fine not to underestimate them." Missy thanked Bockwinkel and walked away with a pleased look on her face.

Scott Hall, the number one contender for the LCW Television Championship at LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on October 21st, defeated Greg Valentine (with Jimmy Hart and LCW Television Champion The Honky Tonk Man) in 6:14 by pinfall after the Outsiders Edge. In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff about his upcoming title defense against Hulk Hogan at the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on October 21st. Orndorff said, "Hogan and I have been down the same road a million times, even a couple of times here in LCW. Hell, he's beaten me so many times I can't even count them on both hands and both feet, but on March 26, 2006, I beat him in the middle of the ring for the LCW Universal Championship. The only difference between then and now is that I walked in without gold, but the outcome will be the same this time as it was last time: I'm walking out with the gold at Night of Horrors." Okerlund asked Orndorff about Bobby Heenan, who was now managing Hulk Hogan. Orndorff said, "Me and the Weasel have been around and around so many times it's not even funny, but if he wants to get involved in my business at Night of Horrors, forget Jake Roberts, I'll be the snake that eats the weasel." Orndorff walked away as the show went to commercial.
