From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown. Schiavone and Zbyszko reviewed the LCW Survival Project pay-per-view last Sunday (click here for the complete results) including the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin won the 50-man gauntlet tournament to become the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship at the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on Sunday, October 21st, but was attacked again by the masked man as LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway watched from the entrance ramp at the end of the show. Schiavone and Zbyszko also talked about the fact that Hulk Hogan eliminated seven men, the most at LCW Survival Project last Sunday, to become the number one contender for the LCW International Championship at the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on Sunday, October 21st.
Strike Force defeated LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys (with Missy Hyatt and Tom Zenk) in 7:50 by pinfall when Tito Santana pinned Brian Knobbs after the flying forearm to win the LCW United States Tag Team Championships.

Brother Love came out for "The Brother Love Show" interview segment and introduced his guests Slick, Butch Reed, Koko B. Ware, Rocky Johnson, and Tony Atlas. Slick introduced them as The Brothahood and said their goal was gold. Slick warned Demolition that Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas were coming for the LCW World Tag Team Championships and Koko B. Ware and Butch Reed were going to continue doing what they do best, dominating the singles ranks and he promised that they would be wearing gold around their waists by the end of the year.
In the back, an irate LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll approached LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and demanded a match against Stone Cold Steve Austin after being hit by him with the Stone Cold Stunner last Sunday night at LCW Survival Project. Calaway calmed Baby Doll down saying, "Nickla, are you crazy? I mean, I know you're hell in heels, but Stone Cold Steve Austin is unpredictable and he will hurt you and I can't have that on my conscience. But I'll get you in the ring with Austin if that's what you want, but it's going to be in a handicap match: Stone Cold Stave Austin against you and Tully Blanchard. How does that sound?" Baby Doll smiled and said she liked the sound of that and then kissed Calaway on the cheek before walking away to prepare for the match.

Hulk Hogan came out with Bobby Heenan, got in the ring, and said he wanted his title shot tonight because he eliminated the most men at the LCW Survival Project pay-per-view last Sunday. LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA came out to the entrance stage and said Hogan may have eliminated seven men, but if it wasn't for his time-limit draw against Big Van Vader, he would have had seven eliminations as well. Magnum also mentioned the fact that he eliminated Hogan from the Survival Project gauntlet tournament. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said that the LCW Board of Directors had anticipated this development and he was authorized to announce a number one contenders match tonight between LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA and Hulk Hogan to determine the number one contender for the LCW International Championship.

In the back, Lex Luger confronted LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page and challenged him to a match. Manny Fernandez approached Luger and said that he got one over him last Sunday night at LCW Survival Project pay-per-view, but tonight, if he wanted a piece of Page, he was going to have to go through him. Fernandez challenge Luger and Luger accepted the challenge.
LCW Television Champion Superfly Jimmy Snuka defeated Dr. Death Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) in 5:13 by disqualification after The Honky Tonk Man interfered and blasted Snuka with his guitar right in front of referee Billy Silverman.
In the back, Missy Hyatt and Tom Zenk argued with The Nasty Boys about losing the LCW United States Tag Team Championship to Strike Force earlier in the evening. The Nasty Boys yelled at Missy about putting all of her focus on her "man whore" Tom Zenk. Zenk took offense to this and began brawling with The Nasty Boys who quickly gained the upper hand and destroyed Zenk, leaving him laying on the locker room floor. Missy Hyatt screamed, "What about Hyatt International?" The Nasty Boys just walked away.

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Tully Blanchard and LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll in 7:20 in a handicap match by pinfall when Austin pinned Blanchard after the Stone Cold Stunner. After the match, Baby Doll went to kick Austin with a low blow, but he blocked it and hit her with the Stone Cold Stunner. Blanchard rolled out of the ring and Austin kicked Baby Doll out of the ring. Superstar Billy Graham came out and helped them away from the ring and up the entrance ramp. Austin grabbed a microphone and said, "Last week, I took out two members of the Entourage. Next week, I want you, Superstar Billy Graham in the middle of this ring." Graham turned around to face Austin and Austin continued, "Because as far as I see it, I just took out two members of the Entourage tonight. I'm just working my way up the ladder and I'm not going to stop until I get that son of a bitch at the top of the ladder. And you might think I'm talking about Nikita Koloff and the LCW Universal Championship, but I'm talking about that son of a bitch Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway! Calaway, I'm taking your boy's title away at LCW Night of Horrors and then I'm coming after you!" Austin threw down the microphone and left the ring.
In the back, Dr. Death Steve Williams was talking with Cowboy Bill Watts about The Dynamite Kid and their brawl during their Survival Project match which got both of them eliminated by countout. Williams walked away and Watts dialed his cell phone to call someone. Dynamite Kid appeared and attacked Watts from behind. Kid threw Watts into a wall and then stepped on his cell phone, breaking it. Dynamite picked up the cell phone and said, "Call your boy Dr. Death and tell him he's next." Dynamite dropped the cell phone on Watts' chest and went to walk away, but came back and said, "Oh yeah, and tell him never to forget, 'Boom, goes the Dynamite!'"

Jake Roberts defeated Kamala (with Gary Hart) in 5:26 by disqualification after The Iron Sheik interfered and attacked Roberts. Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie broke the Iranian flag pole over Roberts' back before leaving with The Iron Sheik.

Koko B. Ware (with Slick and Butch Reed) defeated Corporal Kirchner in 4:18 after One Man Gang interfered and hit Kirchner with the 747 Splash while Slick distracted the referee. Before the match, footage was shown of Corporal Kirchner's upset victory over One Man Gang at LCW Survival Project pay-per-view. Footage was then shown of Kirchner's defeating Koko B. Ware, and then Ware and Butch Reed attacking Kirchner.

Manny Fernandez defeated Lex Luger (with Madusa Micelli) in 7:09 by pinfall after the Flying Burrito after LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page appeared at ringside and hit Madusa with the Diamond Cutter after she tried to hit him. Page hitting Madusa with the Diamond Cutter distracted Luger and allowed Fernandez to hit Luger with the Flying Burrito for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Fernandez and Page celebrated together as they left ringside.
Missy Hyatt approached Brutus Beefcake and began to flirt with him and said, "Barber, I need good, strong men like you in Hyatt International which is why I'd like to offer you a position in Hyatt International. Don't answer me now, just think about it, and let me know." She kissed him on the cheek and then walked away.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko announced that "Becoming The Bull" by Atreyu was the official theme song of the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on October 21st. Schiavone reminded everyone to stay tuned as the music video would air at the end of the show after the main event. Schiavone announced that LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff would face Stone Cold Steve Austin, the winner of the LCW Survival Project gauntlet tournament last Sunday, at LCW Night of Horrors and in two weeks on LCW Showdown those two men would sign a contract for that match. Schiavone said, "And in just a moment, we are going to find out who will face this man, LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff (who had come out to join Schiavone and Zbyszko in the broadcast booth) at LCW Night of Horrors. Will it be Hulk Hogan, who you (speaking to Orndorff) have a storied past with, or will it be Magnum TA?" Orndorff said he didn't care who it was, "I don't really care who is it, Tony. Let's get this show on the road so I can find out whose ass I'm going to kick to keep my title." Schiavone said, "With that, let's go to ringside and ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta!"
Hulk Hogan (with Bobby Heenan) defeated LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA in 13:43 by pinfall after Stan Hansen interfered and blasted Magnum with the cowbell on his bullrope while Bobby Heenan distracted referee Billy Silverman in a non-title, number one contenders match to determine the number one contender for the LCW International Championship.
