LCW Showdown Television Results 09.19.07
In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway arrived with the Entourage: LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, Superstar Billy Graham, Tully Blanchard, and LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll, who was limping. Calaway had on his new "Calaway 3:16 Says I Just Slammed A Door On Your Face" T-shirt (available at LCWShop.com). Sean Mooney approached them and Calaway said, "Tonight, we are one week away from LCW Survival Project. This Sunday, 50 men will compete in a single elimination, gauntlet style tournament to determine the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship and the number one contender for the LCW International Championship. The man who can eliminate the most men will be the number one contender for the LCW International Championship which is currently held by Paul Orndorff, but only if he can get past Superstar Billy Graham because tonight Paul Orndorff will defend the LCW International Championship against Superstar Billy Graham. But the man standing in the center of the ring victorious at the end of the night this Sunday will be the number one contender for the most prestigious title in all of professional wrestling: the LCW Universal Championship at LCW Night of Horrors on October 21st and they will face this man (pointing to Nikita Koloff), the most dominant Universal Champion in Legends Championship Wrestling history. But tonight, I've decided I'm going to make things a little more interesting, because tonight two men will face each other in the main event. One man will win, one man will lose, obviously, but this match will mean so much more to the winner because he will earn the right to enter the Survival Project gauntlet tournament at number 50, while the loser will have to enter at number 1. Those two men who will compete tonight are LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page…and Hulk Hogan! I wish both of those gentlemen the best of luck because they're going to need it, especially the loser." Calaway walked away with the Entourage.
The LCW Showdown theme, "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, played during the intro. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown. Schiavone talked about the two matches that LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway just announced: LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff defending his title against former champion Superstar Billy Graham, and the main event between Diamond Dallas Page and Hulk Hogan to determine who will enter number 1 and who will enter number 50 in the gauntlet tournament at LCW Survival Project pay-per-view this Sunday.
The Rock 'n' Roll Express defeated Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson in 5:21 by pinfall when Ricky Morton pinned Rocky Johnson after a missile dropkick. During the match, Slick appeared and watching the match from the entrance stage and left with a smile on his face as Atlas and Johnson attacked Gibson and Morton after the match, busting them both wide open and leaving them bloody in the center of the ring.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko interviewed Stan Hansen from his home in Japan. Hansen said he was coming back to America with one goal: to win the Survival Project gauntlet tournament this Sunday. "And when I've won that and gone on to win the LCW Universal Championship, I'm going to give Magnum TA the first title defense…and his last match!" Hansen ripped off his microphone and grabbed the camera from the cameraman and threw it against the wall. The video feed died, but a boom microphone picked up Hansen kicking the cameraman out of his home.
In the back, Slick approached Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson and said, "Tonight, my brothas, it looks like you guys made the right decision. How about we go talk about some business?" Atlas and Johnson agreed and they all walked away with Slick.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko reviewed video footage of The Iron Sheik attacking Jake Roberts last week on Showdown in the back, beating him on the back of his head with his spiked shoe, and then putting him in the camel clutch. Schiavone announced that Roberts wanted to face The Iron Sheik tonight, but doctors wouldn't clear him to wrestle. Roberts had suffered a concussion a gash on his head and the video footage of Roberts in the camel clutch was replayed and zoomed in on and blood could be seen pouring down Roberts' shoulder. Schiavone said, "Clearly, you can see that Roberts was unconscious at this point and if it wasn't for the security officials pulling Sheik off of Roberts, we might have a different report for you tonight, but Roberts is all right and is still expected to be a participant in the Survival Project tournament this Sunday. He was ready to wrestle tonight, Larry, but doctors simply won't let him." Zbyszko said, "And thank God for that. I mean, you know Roberts as well as I do, he's not the kind of guy to back down from a challenge. He saw a personal challenge in The Iron Sheik, a guy who's obviously conflicted and going through a rough time right now, but Sheik didn't want any help, but that was taking it too far. What Sheik did to Roberts last week on Showdown was just taking it too far. But I'm sure the Snake will get his hands on The Iron Sheik at some point, maybe this Sunday at Survival Project."
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Superfly Jimmy Snuka who said LCW Television Champion The Honky Tonk Man made a mistake by attacking him and hitting him with his guitar because tonight he was going to take his title.
In the back, LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll told LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway that she was almost run down by shoplifters as they were speeding away in a Wal-Mart parking lot while she was being interviewed by the Minority Roundtable. Baby Doll said she didn't think she'd be able to defend her title against Rockin' Robin tonight. Calaway said, "Of course you can't wrestle tonight. I mean, you were almost run down by shoplifters. And let's be honest, did you even get a really good look at them? I mean, it could have been Robin behind the wheel. I think we both know she doesn’t' want to get in the ring with you again. Look, I'll talk with Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel and see what we can work out. Don't you worry about anything. We'll get you out of this match tonight." Calaway had Baby Doll sit down with him as he called someone on the phone.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Missy Hyatt, LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys, and Tom Zenk. Hyatt was all over Tom Zenk, kissing him and rubbing his chest, and Mooney asked Hyatt about the confrontation last week between The Nasty Boys and Tom Zenk after Zenk interfered in the Nasty Boys' match against The Killer Bees, but she kept flirting with Zenk. The Nasty Boys seemed disgusted by the public displays of affection and Hyatt eventually stopped focusing on Zenk and Mooney asked her again about the confrontation last week between the Nasty Boys and Zenk. Hyatt said there was no problem between the Nasty Boys and Zenk. She said, "This is the new Hyatt International and we are stronger than ever and we're about to get a whole lot stronger." Mooney asked what she meant and Hyatt smiled and said, "You'll find out soon enough, Mooney." Hyatt and Zenk walked away leave the Nasty Boys there alone with Mooney who seemed confused. Mooney asked them about the confrontation and Sags said, "Mooney, things are not fine in Hyatt International. It's not about Hyatt International. Without the Nasty Boys, Hyatt International wouldn’t be anything. This punk is messing everything up and getting involved in our business and it had better stop soon. Missy Hyatt needs to get her focus back in check on the guys who are bringing her the gold, and that's us, the LCW United States Tag Team Champions." The Nasty Boys walked out leaving Mooney with a confused look on his face.
