LCW Showdown Television Results 09.12.07

LCW Showdown Television Results (September 12, 2007) live from Koch Arena in Wichita, KS.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdodwn. Schiavone and Zbyszko discussed what happened last week on LCW Showdown when LCW Chairman of the Board Calaway slammed his office door on Stone Cold Steve Austin's head. Schiavone announced that Austin wasn't injured, but did suffer a minor concussion, but would still team with LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page to face LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and Hulk Hogan tonight.

Rockin' Robin (with Sam Houston) defeated LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll (with Tully Blanchard) in 3:26 by pinfall after the bulldog. However, after the match, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, surrounded by police officers who were protecting him from Stone Cold Steve Austin, came out and showed footage of the end of the match and pointed out that Baby Doll's foot was under the bottom rope after the bulldog and during the pinfall so the win was null and void and the title would be returned to Baby Doll immediately. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said while he didn't agree with Calaway's decision there wasn't really anything he could do about it, but he could and did announce a rematch for next week on LCW Showdown.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Col. Robert Parker who announced that after tonight, the Stud Stable, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater, were breaking up as a tag team so they could compete in the Survival Project as singles wrestlers. Both men shook hands and wished each other luck and Parker said that tonight they were going to go out as a tag team on top with a win over Big Van Vader and Harley Race.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway was sitting in his office surrounded by police officers when LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll and Tully Blanchard knocked on the office door and one of the police officers let them in. Calaway welcomed them and told Baby Doll, "Didn't I say I would have your back? Didn't I tell you that you didn't have anything to worry about?" Baby Doll said that he did and that next week she would make him proud. Calaway said he knew she would. Calaway told them he was waiting for a very special package: a brand new T-shirt that would be available at LCWShop.com starting tonight!

LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys (with Missy Hyatt and Tom Zenk) defeated The Killer Bees in 4:38 by pinfall when Brian Knobbs pinned Brian Blair after Tom Zenk hit Blair with a savate kick after the referee was distracted by Missy Hyatt at ringside. After the match, Knobbs and Sags both confronted Zenk about interfering saying they didn't need his help. Missy Hyatt managed to calm them down and they all left together.

In the back, Slick approached Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson and said, "The man has held you down, my brothas. He has held you back, but not anymore. I'm offering you my services and I'm going to guarantee that if you sign with me and let me manage your careers that you'll have gold around your waists before the end of the year. What do you say, my brothas?" Atlas and Johnson looked at each other for a moment and said they would have to think about it. Slick said, "You do that. You do that and you get back to me," as Atlas and Johnson walked away.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

The Skyscrapers and The Midnight Express (with Dennis Condrey) defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express and Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson in 6:12 in an eight-man tag team match by pinfall when Sid Vicious pinned Robert Gibson after the powerbomb. During the match, Slick came out with Butch Reed and they watched the match from the entrance stage. After the match, Morton and Gibson tried to apologize to Atlas and Johnson for losing the match and extended their hands for a handshake, but Atlas and Johnson just walked out of the ring.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed The Dynamite Kid about his upcoming match with Dr. Death Steve Williams and their impromptu brawl last week during a tag team match against LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Hall. Dynamite said he didn't know what Williams' problem was, but he was going to straighten him out tonight. Steve Williams attacked Dynamite Kid from behind and the two began to brawl towards the ring as the show went to commercial.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

The scheduled Dynamite Kid and Steve Williams match technically never started as the two men never stopped their brawling that started in the back before the match. The two men continued brawling for a couple of minutes back and forth until several referees and security officials came out and separated the two men.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed the Rock 'n' Roll Express who challenged Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson to a match on next week's LCW Showdown. Atlas and Johnson appeared and accepted the challenge. Gibson and Morton extended their hands for a hand shake and Atlas and Johnson walked away without shaking their hands again.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

A delivery man knocked on LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway's office door and a police officer let him in. Calaway opened the box and pulled out the T-shirt and looked at it with the back of the shirt facing the camera. Calaway said it looked great and he was ready to share it with the world.

LCW Heritage Champion Magnum TA defeated Tom Zenk (with Missy Hyatt) in 6:34 by pinfall after the belly-to-belly suplex. During the match, LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys came out and watched the match from the entrance ramp. They were laughing as Zenk got hit by the belly-to-belly suplex and pinned by Magnum TA. Missy Hyatt didn't even know they were on the entrance ramp as she was totally focused on Tom Zenk. As the Nasty Boys, Hyatt got in the ring and checked on Zenk, helping him to his feet.

In the back, The Iron Sheik, with his manager Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie, attacked Jake Roberts from behind. Sheik took off his boot and blasted Roberts on the back of the head with it as he tried to get back to his feet before putting an unconscious Roberts in the Camel Clutch. Security officials arrived and pulled Sheik off of Roberts. Sheik spat on Roberts and said, "I don't need your help, snake man," as security officials pulled him away and medical officials arrived to check on Roberts.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Superfly Jimmy Snuka defeated Greg Valentine (with Jimmy Hart) in 7:23 by pinfall after the Superfly Splash in a number one contenders match for the LCW Television Championship. After the match, LCW Television Champion The Honky Tonk Man came out and blasted Snuka with his guitar after Snuka had grabbed Hart and was going to hit him.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Terry Funk who said he was going to end this family feud with his brother once and for all and take him out of the business with his specialty, his kind of match, a hardcore match. Funk said he was going to prove once and for all who was the most hardcore mother funker in the Funk family.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Dory Funk, Jr. wrestled Terry Funk (with Col. Robert Parker) to a no contest in 5:32 in a hardcore match after Cowboy Bob Orton, Dirty Dick Slater, Col. Robert Parker, Big Van Vader, Jack Brisco, and Harley Race all interfered. After the match, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said, "You guys can't have a match without everyone interfering, so I'm going to take care of that issue once and for all and put all of you in the ring at the same time. Next week, on LCW Showdown, Dory Funk, Jr., will team with Big Van Vader, Harley Race, and Jack Brisco, and together they take on the team of The Stud Stable consisting of Terry Funk, Cowboy Bob Orton, Dirty Dick Slater, and…Col. Robert Parker! An irate Parker reacted negatively to the announcement that he would be wrestling in the match. Bockwinkel also announced that the match would be an elimination match.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out with the Entourage (LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, Superstar Billy Graham, Tully Blanchard and LCW Women's Champion Baby Doll) and several police officers. Calaway said he wasn't afraid of Austin and said the police officers were there to make sure Austin didn't try to attack him because if he did he would be physically assaulted and as much as he didn't like Austin he couldn't deny that he was making him money and he wasn't going to risk hurting his investment. Calaway moved on and said he was going to reveal to the world a piece marketing genius, the next great T-shirt at LCWShop.com. Calaway said, "Last week, I slammed a door on that bald son of a bitch's head and I thought of this…" An easel appeared on the LegendsTron and LCW Executive Producer Derrick LeRoux was standing next to it and Calaway told him to reveal the T-shirt. LeRoux pulled back the cloth revealing a black T-shirt that read "Calaway 3:16 Says I Just Slammed A Door On Your Face" Calaway laughed with Koloff, Graham, Blanchard, and Baby Doll until Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared on the LegendsTron standing next to LeRoux. LeRoux ran off and Austin said, "You think you're funny!? You think you're real funny don't you, you dumb son of a bitch?" Austin pulled the T-shirt off the easel and said, "Let's talk about this piece of garbage right here (referring to the T-shirt). Forget the piece of crap in the ring (referring to Calaway), let's talk about this crap right here (referring to the T-shirt). You got jokes and you think you're funny, but how's this for a laugh: I'm going to kick your ass. Not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even next week, but soon, very soon, I'm going to kick your ass. And the best part is you're never going to know when this Rattlesnake is gonna strike. And then maybe this shirt can read, 'Calaway 3:16 I'm a piece of crap who just had my ass kicked by the toughest son of a bitch in Legends Championship Wrestling! And that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!' Austin tore up the T-shirt and threw it at the camera.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko discussed the LCW Survival Project pay-per-view on Sunday, September 23rd, and reminded the audience that 50-men will compete in an all-day gauntlet style tournament with the man who can eliminate the most men becoming the number one contender for the LCW International Championship and the last man standing at the end of the night becoming the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship. Footage was shown from LCW Survival Project 2006 of Magnum TA eliminating 9 men to become the number one contender for the LCW International Championship and Schiavone said, "And here's where the numbers can get you and at the end of the night ruin everything: Magnum came in at number 41, defeated 9 men, was already the number one contender for the LCW International Championship and only had to defeat one more man for the LCW Universal Championship, number 50, who turned out to be The Ultimate Warrior. A fresh Ultimate Warrior turned out to be too much for a worn out Magnum TA. Warrior, with the help of LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, managed to secure his title shot that night and went on to unsuccessfully challenge LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff.

In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway was in his office with LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, Hulk Hogan, and Bobby Heenan and Calaway said, "Isn't it amazing the difference one year can make? One year ago, Nikita Koloff and I just didn't understand each other and that made us enemies, but we found a common thread, we found a common light and we have dominated Legends Championship Wrestling ever since. Tonight, Hogan, Koloff, I need the two of you to find a common light and dominate and destroy Stone Cold Steve Austin and Diamond Dallas Page. Austin and Page aren't like Magnum TA, they're not like Big Van Vader or Harley Race or Jack Brisco or any of the other thorns in my side in Legends Championship Wrestling. No, they aren't just an annoyance, they are a constant problem. I need you two to eliminate my problems tonight. Can you do that for me?" Hogan and Koloff agreed that they could and Hogan, Heenan, Koloff, and Calaway walked out of the office and headed to the ring.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff (with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway) and Hulk Hogan (with Bobby Heenan) defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin and LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page in 13:43 by pinfall when Hogan pinned Austin after Page accidentally hit Austin with the Diamond Cutter after Bobby Heenan sprayed an unknown liquid in Page's eyes, blinding Page.

Thanks for the support, but Legends Championship Wrestling isn't interactive. Christian Calaway is the only original character and that's part of our success that everyone else is recognizable legends. But thanks for the support and stay tuned.
