LCW Showdown Television Results 07.04.07
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown and pointed out that the ring ropes were red, white, and blue in honor of the Fourth of July as red, white, and blue balloons and confetti fell from the rafters over the audience in attendance. Schiavone said, "Not only are we celebrating the birth of our nation tonight, but we're also celebrating one of the most explosive and shocking wrestling pay-per-views in recent memory. LCW SuperClash last Sunday will go down in the record books as one of the most historic and memorable. We said it was the most important pay-per-view of the year and we didn't disappoint."
LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, with a bandage on his forehead, came out and actually thanked The Rock for an incredible match at LCW SuperClash last Sunday and said, "One day, not today, not tomorrow, but one day…The Rock will be a featured legend in Legends Championship Wrestling." The audience exploded as Calaway dropped the microphone and calmly walked back to the back.
LCW Television Champion Koko B. Ware defeated Kevin Sullivan (with Luna Vachon) in 5:31 by pinfall after the missile dropkick. After the match, Ted DiBiase attacked Koko B. Ware from behind and knocked him out with the Million Dollar Dream sleeperhold. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone reminded everyone that Ted DiBiase had given up his rematch clause because he was so sure that he was going to beat Koko B. Ware at LCW SuperClash last Sunday.

In the back, Hulk Hogan grabbed Calaway by his sport coat lapels and said, "Brother, what you did last night was bullsh*t. I want to know what you're going to do to make this right, brother." Calaway said, "First of all, you're going to let go of me if you want me to do anything to make this right." Hogan let go of Calaway who continued, "I do want to apologize for what happened last Sunday at LCW SuperClash. When I came down to the ring to replace the referee that Stone Cold Steve Austin had knocked out, I realized I had made a mistake by even getting in the ring. But if I hadn't made the pinfall count, I would have been standing in the way of Austin's victory and that could have cost me more than if I had made the count. And trust me, there was nothing more that I wanted at that moment that to see you beat Austin. So I made the count, I did want I had to do as much as it pained me and I'm sorry that it cost you the win, but I did what I had to do. Hogan, I don't know what to do to make it up to you. I don't know what you want, but whatever it is, it's yours, I'll do it. I'll make it happen." Hogan said, "You made a big mistake at SuperClash, but I understand the dilemma you were in, brother. I'm going to need two things to make this right: first of all, King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang are going to get a shot at the LCW United States Tag Team Championships. Then, I'm going to take the next month off and enjoy some of the wonderful Florida summer weather and it's going to be a paid vacation." Calaway agreed and told Hogan to enjoy his vacation and invited him to appear at LCW Beach Brawl as his special guest. Hogan said, "Oh, I'm going to be there, brother. And let Austin know that this isn't over. He may have won the battle, but I'm going to win the war." Hogan walked away and Calaway watched him leave.
Diamond Dallas Page defeated Abdullah The Butcher (with Gary Hart) in 4:07 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter. After the match, LCW United States Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams and Cowboy Bill Watts came out and Watts said, "Now that that bitch ex-wife of yours Kimberly is finally out of your life, the sad thing is you're an even more pathetic loser than you were before. At least with her by your side, your matches were somewhat watchable. Now you're just completely unwatchable." Page challenged Williams to come into the ring, but Watts stopped him saying, "No, we're only here to issue a challenge. We want to prove to the world that you're not just a loser, you're not a legend and you don't belong here." Williams and Watts left as Page said, "I'm going to prove that I'm a legend and make you feel the bang!"

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Lex Luger and Madusa Micelli explained turning on Paul Orndorff saying, "It was a business decision. I needed to make an impact and I made that impact at SuperClash. Everybody thought I couldn't trust Paul Orndorff, but the truth of the matter was that he couldn't trust me. I've been ignored for far too long now. I'm a former World Heavyweight Champion and I've got losers trying to be my tag team partner? Those losers were just bringing me down and no one is going to bring me down again. You're either with me or against me. I came to Legends Championship Wrestling not to be a legend, but to be a champion and I've lost focus. When Paul Ornorff lost that match, I regained focus. I realized I was in a tag team match with a pathetic loser instead of the main event with Nikita Koloff for the LCW Universal Championship." Madusa said, "You know, I'm sure that Paul Orndorff is going to want a piece of Lex Luger and we invite him to take his shot. The ball is in his court because once Luger beats Orndorff, a former LCW Universal Champion don't forget, it's only a matter of time before the title is around the Total Package's waist."
King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang (with Bobby Heenan) defeated LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express in 5:19 by pinfall when Gang pinned Morton after Hulk Hogan interfered and blasted Ricky Morton with a steel chair shot while Bobby Heenan distracted the referee to win the LCW United States Tag Team Championships.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko announced that Randy Savage was still missing and no one from the Legends Championship Wrestling Board of Directors had been able to get in contact with him after he disappeared several weeks ago after attacking The Honky Tonk Man in a match dedicated to the memory of Sensational Sherri Martel. Schiavone said that no one knew where he was, but they would keep the audience up to date on his whereabouts. Schiavone added that Savage had now been missing for 14 days.
The Nasty Boys (with Missy Hyatt) defeated The Young Stallions in 3:39 by pinfall when Jerry Sags pinned Jim Powers after a piledriver. After the match, as Paul Roma checked on his fallen partner, Missy Hyatt blasted him with her purse before leaving the ring with The Nasty Boys.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation defeated The Wild Samoans (with Gary Hart) in 6:43 by disqualification after The Skyscrapers interfered and attacked Bret Hart while he had Wild Samoan Sika in the Sharpshooter. After the match, The Skyscrapers and The Wild Samoans attacked The Hart Foundation until Demolition came out and cleared them out of the ring. Demolition picked up the tag team titles and looked at them for a moment before handing them back to The Hart Foundation and leaving the ring.
In the back, Lex Luger was talking to Madusa Micelli and they were laughing about Paul Orndorff when Hillbilly Jim approached them and asked Luger, "What was that at SuperClash, buddy, attacking Orndorff like that? What's the matter with you?" Luger said, "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you, redneck? Orndorff cost me a match. The people picked him and they picked a real loser. Hell, they almost picked you. That left me with two losers to bring me down." Hillbilly Jim said, "Who are you calling a loser, pal?" Luger went to talk away and Hillbilly Jim grabbed his arm and said, "Don't walk away from me, buddy." Luger blasted Hillbilly Jim with a right hand that knocked him down to the floor. Luger and Madusa laughed and walked away.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko discussed the attack and brawl between Stan Hansen and Magnum TA at the LCW SuperClash pay-per-view last Sunday. Schiavone announced that next week on LCW Showdown Magnum TA would face Outlaw Ron Bass. Schiavone said, "I wonder if Hansen will try to inject himself in the match." Zbyszko said, "Well, those two apparently have some beef with each other, something that we might not ever understand. But I'll tell you this: if Hansen has a problem with Magnum TA, he's going to take advantage of any opportunity and he probably will inject himself in Magnum's match next week with Outlaw Ron Bass. And let's not forget that Bass and Hansen are old friends."
Lex Luger (with Madusa Micelli) defeated Hillbilly Jim in 5:17 by submission with the Torture Rack after a piledriver. After the match, Luger refused to release the Torture Rack and Paul Orndorff came out with a steel chair and blasted Luger with the chair, knocking Hillbilly Jim off Luger's shoulders and Luger out of the ring. Luger and Madusa ran from ringside as Orndorff checked on the fallen Hillbilly Jim.

LCW Heritage Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) defeated Tommy Rich in 4:37 by pinfall after the slingshot suplex. After the match, Blanchard hit Rich with another slingshot suplex and then threw him out of the ring. Blanchard grabbed a microphone and said as medical officials checked on Rich outside the ring, "Get this piece of crap out of my ring. You call yourself a champion, Tommy? That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard in my life. But I want to focus on someone else. Sam Houston, you piece of garbage. You want to step into my ring? Show up next week and I'll give you a wrestling lesson you'll never forget. I don't even know why you're here. You're not a legend, you never were and you never will be, but if you want to go with me we can go and I'll make you regret the day you ever involved yourself in my affairs. I just made a point with one loser in Tommy Rich and I'm about to make another point with you, Sam Houston. Saddle up, cowboy because you're about to get a wrestling lesson you'll never forget."
In the back, Precious approached Scott Hall and said, "You don't know how to treat a lady. How could you attack Kimberly Page? It's not her fault that you're a loser. It's not her fault that you lost the match and cost her not only the match, but her job. You should have been more than slapped by her, I can tell you that." Hall grabbed Precious by the arm and said, "Hey, how about you try to kick my ass right now." Precious said, "All right." Out of nowhere, Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin came out of nowhere and attacked Hall from behind and threw him into a steel door.

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out with the rest of The Entourage (LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham, and LCW Heritage Champion Tully Blanchard, with Baby Doll) and celebrated their victories at last Sunday's LCW SuperClash. Calaway congratulated all of them and said they were, without any question, doubt, or hesitation, the power in Legends Championship Wrestling. "Speaking of power, I'd like to bring out Bruno Sammartino. Bruno, can you join us in the ring please." Bruno Sammartino, a member of the LCW Board of Directors, came out and joined Calaway and the rest of the Entourage in the ring. Calaway said, "Let's take a look at some footage from SuperClash last Sunday." On the LegendsTron, footage of Sammartino wishing The Rock luck at LCW SuperClash before his match with Calaway. Back in the ring, Calaway said, "You were wishing The Rock good luck? What the hell is the matter with you, old man? You might be a member of the LCW Board of Directors, but I'm still your boss. I still sign your damn checks and next week you're going to earn it. Next week on LCW Showdown, you're going to step into this ring one more time. Next week on Showdown, you're going to be involved in a handicap match. I mean, that shouldn't be such a big deal for a former World Heavyweight Champion, right? Next week, you're going to step into this ring against the LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and the LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham. Oh, and Bruno…good luck." Koloff and Graham then attacked Sammartino from behind and stomped him until Pedro Morales came out with a steel chair and cleared the Entourage out of the ring. Calaway said, "I've changed my mind. Next week, it's not going to be a handicap match. It's going to be a tag team match: Nikita Koloff and Superstar Billy Graham against Bruno Sammartino and Pedro Morales." Morales challenged The Entourage to get in the ring, but they walked away as the show went off the air.
