From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to Showdown.
LCW Television Champion Ted DiBiase came out with Virgil and announced that his scheduled match against Koko B. Ware wasn't going to happen tonight because Ware hadn't proved himself as a worthy contender. DiBiase said that Virgil will take his place and if Ware can beat Virgil then DiBiase would consider giving him a title shot.
Koko B. Ware defeated Virgil (with LCW Television Champion Ted DiBiase) in 3:37 by pinfall after the Birdbuster suplex after dropkicking DiBiase, who tried to interfere, off the ring apron. After the match, an angry DiBiase said, "It's never going to happen. I'm never going to give you a title shot." As DiBiase and Virgil walked up the entrance ramp, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said, "DiBiase, next week on Showdown, you will face Koko B. Ware in a non-title match. If Ware can win the match, you will defend your title against him at LCW SuperClash on July 1, 2007."

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Missy Hyatt who said The Nasty Boys weren't going to wrestle Lex Luger and any partner. They're not going to waste their time with Luger because they have bigger goals in mind, like the LCW World Tag Team Championships. Madusa appeared and challenged her to a one-on-one match and if she wins, The Nasty Boys would have to face Lex Luger and his fan chosen partner. Madusa reminded everyone to go to LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com to vote for who Luger's partner should be at LCW SuperClash on July 1, 2007, and said tonight the five wrestlers who had volunteered to be Luger's partner would wrestle each other in a five way elimination match to help the fans decide who to choose. Madusa turned her attention back to Missy Hyatt and said, "Oh, I totally forgot about you. That's how irrelevant you are." The two women began to brawl as security officials appeared and separated the two. Madusa said, "I want you next week, b*tch. If I win, The Nasty Boys will face Lex Luger and his partner." Missy Hyatt said, "And what if I win?" Madusa said, "I won't kick your ass." LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel said, "This match is going to happen next week on Showdown. Now get them out of here." Security officials took Madusa and Missy away as the show went to commercial.

In the back, Sean Mooney tried to interview The Islanders, but they only spoke Samoan and started to argue with each other. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel approached them and said, "If you two have a problem with each other, why don't we just settle it…tonight!" The two men looked at each other and then brawled their way to the ring.
Tama and Haku wrestled to a no contest in 5:49 after LCW World Tag Team Champions The Wild Samoans, with Gary Hart, interfered and attacked them. The two teams brawled and The Islanders worked together to gain the upper hand, double dropkicking both Wild Samoans over the top rope and out of the ring. After the match, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and announced that next week on Showdown, Demolition would face The Islanders in a number one contenders match to determine the number one contenders for the LCW World Tag Team Championships at the SuperClash pay-per-view on July 1, 2007.

At ringside, someone who looked like a fan jumped the security guard rail and grabbed a microphone. It turned out to be Buddy Roberts who accepted Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin's open challenge and said Garvin was never really a Freebird, "just a loser that Michael Hayes felt sorry for." Roberts said, "The Fabulous Freebirds were myself, Michael Hayes, and Terry Gordy." Roberts said, "You were a cheap attempt to recreate something magic that you could never measure up to, something greater than you could ever even dream of being. At SuperClash, I'm going to prove once and for all you were never a Freebird when I kick you ass." Roberts left the ring and exited through the crowd.

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Harley Race and Jack Brisco in 5:18 by disqualification after Jesse Ventura interfered and blasted both Koloff and Graham with a steel chair. Ventura grabbed a microphone and said, "Since Big Van Vader was granted a title shot at LCW SuperClash for the LCW Universal Championship, I guess I'm going to have to challenge the number two guy in the company and I guess that means you Superstar since you're the LCW International Champion. So how about you and me go one on one for that title (pointing to the LCW International Championship on Graham's shoulder)?" Graham turned around and looked at Ventura with shock as he and Koloff walked up the entrance ramp to the back.

In the back, LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham confronted LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway in his office and said he wanted to face Ventura at LCW SuperClash on July 1, 2007, because "Ventura may have stolen my gimmick, but he isn't going to steal my title." Graham continued, "I'm not quite convinced that Ventura is worthy though. I think he should have to face someone and prove himself next week on Showdown." Calaway said, "Superstar, I'm sorry, I just don't really have time to deal with this right now. I mean, later tonight I'm going to have to get in the ring with Hugh Heffner and kick that old man's ass. But I know you've got your mind on Ventura right now and that's fine. Next week on Showdown LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff will face Jesse Ventura." Koloff began to question the decision and Calaway said, "You didn't let me finish, Nikita. You're going to face Jesse Ventura…in a non-title match."
Stone Cold Steve Austin came out and said, "Last week, I kicked Bobby Heenan's ass, at LCW SuperClash in a couple of weeks I'm going to kick Hulk Hogan's ass. Tonight, I just want to kick someone's ass. I'll kick anyone's ass." Hulk Hogan appeared on the LegendsTron live via satellite from his home in Miami, Florida. Hogan said, "At SuperClash, brother, I'm going to give you a wrestling lesson. I'm going to show you what being a legend is all about. You're going to find out once and for all and never forget again where the real power in professional wrestling lies and who the most dominant force in professional wrestling is. As for tonight, you want a fight, I've got two friends in the back that are ready to take care of my light work and are ready to give you that fight. See you at SuperClash, brother." King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang came out with Bobby Heenan.

With a table setup in the center of the ring, Mean Gene Okerlund introduced LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel who came out with a contract in hand. Okerlund asked what the contract was for and Bockwinkel said, "This contract is for a match between LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and Playboy Founder and Editor-in-Chief Hugh Heffner. If Calaway want to run his mouth and start challenging people, the Board of Directors is going to call his bluff." LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out with LCW Heritage Champion Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll. Okerlund introduced Hugh Heffner who came out with the 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood and they joined Calaway, Bockwinkel, Blanchard, Baby Doll, and Okerlund in the ring. Calaway said, "Bockwinkel, the Board of Directors wants to call my bluff. Well, I'm going to call your bluff. Give me that damn contract. Let's get this over with because the sooner we sign this, the closer we get to SuperClash and the closer we get to me kicking your ass, Hef." Calaway signed the contract and then pushed the contract over to Hugh Heffner who signed the contract as well. Calaway said, "Now that that's over, I'm going to kick your ass in two weeks, old man, but how about I let Tully Blanchard introduce you to the business right now." Blanchard then reached over the table and grabbed Heffner by the lapels as Sara Jean screamed. Heffner said, "Check the contract, Calaway! I never said I was going to wrestle you myself." Mean Gene Okerlund read the contract over Calaway's shoulder and as Calaway's eyes grew large with shock, Okerlund exploded, "Oh…oh my god. It's…it's The Rock!" The Rock came out and Blanchard tried to attack him, but The Rock fought back and hit him with the Rock Bottom. The Rock then grabbed the contract, signed it, and then threw it down, the whole time staring at Calaway before leaving the ring as Calaway looked on in shock.
