LCW Heritage Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) and Don Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated Jake Roberts and Sam Houston in 6:20 by pinfall when Blanchard pinned Houston after the slingshot suplex. During the match, several crew members came out with several boards of glass and began to construct a pit opposite the entrance ramp on the other side of the ring spanning one side of the ring to the next. Then several men came out with several snakes and began to fill the pit with snakes. After the snakes were in the pit, Blanchard was almost thrown in by Roberts, but managed to hang on to the ropes and slip back into the ring. Moments later, after tagging out, Roberts attempted a pinfall on Blanchard, but Blanchard slid his leg under the ring ropes over the pit to break the pinfall, but quickly retracted his leg back into the ring after several of the snakes jumped up to try and bite the leg. After the match, Jake Roberts said, "You may have won this battle, but you're defiantly going to lose the war because this Sunday night at LCW Uprising this pit is going to be on this side of the ring and this side of the ring (pointing to the two sides of the ring without pits) as well. The pits around the ring will be filled with thousands of snakes, some venomous and some not just like the ones here (pointing to the pit setup on the other side of the ring). If you fall into the pit and get bitten by one of the venomous snakes, oh well. One way or another, I'm getting that title from around your waist and I don’t really care if you're dead or alive."

Heenan easily gave up and said, "You know what, I've got a better idea." He then left with Gang and Bundy. Schiavone and Zbyszko discussed what Heenan could have up his sleeve. Zbyszko said, "All I know is they call him 'The Brain' for a reason. He'll think of something. I don't think he's going to be stepping into that cage with Hulk Hogan."

The Board of Directors (Bruno Sammartino, Verne Gagne, Killer Kowalski, Mil Mascaras, Gene Kiniski, Pat Patterson, Pedro Morales, Dominic DeNucci, Baron Mikel Scicluna, Capt. Lou Albano, Ivan Koloff, and Fabulous Moolah) entered the ring and took their place in two rows of chairs. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out to act as the moderator and introduced LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, who came out with LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, LCW Heritage Champion Tully Blanchard, and Baby Doll, and then introduced Stone Cold Steve Austin. Calaway was given the floor first and he apologized for taking the title from Austin and said he just wanted to end the feud between he and Austin. Austin said he only wanted one thing and that was the LCW Universal Championship and said he would do anything including kick Calaway's ass to get the title again. After going back and forth several times, the Board of Directors announced that they had decided to absolve Austin of any wrong doing and said he would get another title shot if he agreed to end his feud with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and if Austin kept his hands off of Calaway. The Board of Directors also said that Calaway had to stay out of Austin's way and let him earn the title shot adding that if he physically stopped Austin from winning the title, he would be removed from power. Austin agreed and even shook Calaway's hand and then pulled him close and said, "I said I'd keep my hands off you. I didn't say anything about your boy Nikita Koloff." Austin then hit Koloff with the Stone Cold Stunner and then left the ring.
