LCW Showdown Television Results 02.14.07

Showdown (February 14, 2007) live from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, OH.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as footage taped last Thursday after LCW Showdown was shown featuring LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff, and LCW International Champion Superstar Billy Graham visiting Dusty Rhodes in the hospital after he was attacked by Koloff last week on Showdown. Calaway sat beside Rhodes and said quietly, "So, you're the American Dream, right? You really are indicative of what's become of the American dream aren't you? Because you're just like all the rest of them out there: fat, out of shape and, quite frankly, just another pathetic loser. Hell, if you're the American Dream, then I think I'm immigrating to Canada. And they call you the Common Man too, don't they? Well, I just want everyone to know that if I ever look this common I want to be taken out back and shot in the head." Rhodes, who was in and out of consciousness, tried to speak and get up, but couldn't manage it. Calaway put the blanket over Rhodes and picked up a pillow from Rhodes' bedside and began fluffing it. Calaway continued quietly, "Now, you take it easy, Stardust. Somebody really gave you quite a beating, didn't they? You need to take it easy and regain your strength. But hey, at least when you can get your fat ass out of this bed and get back to work you'll have Vince McMahon to run to, because Dusty, you're fat ass is fired. Sweet dreams, Dusty." Calaway moved in with the pillow as if he was going to try and smother Rhodes, but a nurse burst in and told them they couldn't be there because visiting hours were over. Calaway moved and lifted Rhodes' head and placed the pillow under it as if that was what he was going to do all along and said to the nurse, "No problem, ma'am. We were just visiting our good friend Dusty Rhodes here. We'll be on our way." Calaway left with Koloff and Graham as the nurse went to check on Rhodes.

Calaway stopped Koloff and picked up a steel chair and handed it to Koloff, pointing at Piper. Koloff then blasted Piper in the head with the steel chair and stomped him until Calaway pulled Koloff off Piper. Calaway then got in Piper's now bloody face and said, "I hope you enjoy working for WWE again because this is the last time you're going to be seen on Showdown because you're fired!" Calaway and Koloff walked away.
