LCW Showdown Television Results 09.27.06

Showdown (September 27, 2006) live from the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE.

In the back, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel arrived at the arena and announced that on tonight's special one-hour edition of LCW Showdown, LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff would team with LCW International Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and Magnum TA to face The Ultimate Warrior, Big Van Vader, and The Dynamite Kid in a six-man tag team elimination match. LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway arrived in a limousine and asked what match Bockwinkel just announced. Bockwinkel explained the match and Calaway said, "Sounds good. I think I can make it a little bit better, because tonight in the main event, I'm going to be the special guest referee."


Diamond Dallas Page (with Kimberly Page) defeated Don Muraco (with Capt. Lou Albano) in 9:42 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter. After the match, Lex Luger came out and attacked Page, putting him in the Torture Rack. Kimberly tried to save Page, but Madusa came out and kicked her in the head knocking her out before Luger dropped Page's body.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation about defending the title against Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham and The Nasty Boys in a triple threat match at LCW Showdown at the Chase IV this Saturday.

Jake Roberts defeated Bad News Brown in 4:27 by pinfall after the DDT. After the match, Slick came out and congratulated Jake Roberts from the entrance ramp.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

In the back, Slick confronted Jake Roberts and offered him more little plastic baggies of white powder. Roberts said he couldn't pay for them and Slick said it was all right. Slick said he wanted to represent Roberts as his manager and he could have all the "stuff" he needed. Roberts said he would think about it. Slick said, "That's all I need to hear, my brother."

The Ultimate Warrior, Big Van Vader (with Harley Race), and The Dynamite Kid defeated LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff (with Ivan Koloff), LCW International Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Magnum T.A., in 24:36 in a six-man tag team elimination match with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway as the special guest referee by disqualification after Nikita Koloff attacked Calaway and threw him out of the ring.
Order of Elimination:
- Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Dynamite Kid were eliminated at 9:18 by double countout after both men brawled through the crowd and to the back.
- Magnum TA was eliminated by Big Van Vader at 16:08 by pinfall after a powerbomb with a fast count by special guest referee LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway.
- Big Van Vader was eliminated by Nikita Koloff at 21:34 by pinfall with a small package rollup after Vader missed an attempted moonsault.
- Nikita Koloff was eliminated by disqualification at 24:36 after Koloff grabbed Calaway and press slammed him over the top rope and out of the ring for giving him a slow count when he attempted to pin The Ultimate Warrior. After calling for the disqualification, Nikita Koloff hit Warrior with a savage Russian Sickle clothesline. Koloff then press slammed him over the top rope and on top of Calaway.

In the back, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Dynamite Kid brawled to the outside of the arena.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura went over the final Showdown at the Chase IV card:

In the back, The Ultimate Warrior attacked LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and the two men brawled until Magnum TA appeared with a baseball bat and chased Warrior away. Before Warrior ran away, Magnum went to hit Warrior with a baseball bat as he laid on the hood of a car, but Warrior moved and Magnum destroyed the car windshield.
