LCW Showdown Television Results 09.20.06
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura welcomed everyone to Showdown and talked about the main event match, which would feature LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway's second time in the ring, this time with The Ultimate Warrior as his partner as they face LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and Ivan Koloff. The camera went to the back where Calaway and Warrior arrived in the arena in a limousine. Sean Mooney approached them and asked them about their match and Calaway immediately pushed Mooney down to the ground and walked away with Warrior.
Paul Orndorff defeated King Kong Bundy (with Bobby Heenan) in 4:01 by disqualification after One Man Gang interfered and attacked Orndorff. After the match, Gang and Bundy attacked Orndorff until Billy Jack Haynes came out with a steel chair and saved Paul Orndorff.

LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page (with Kimberly Page) defeated Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) in 13:23 by pinfall after the Diamond Cutter on the trunk of a car in a street fight match. After the match, Virgil grabbed Kimberly and was going to hit her, but she kicked him in the crotch and then hit him with the Diamond Cutter.
In the back, Big Van Vader, with manager Harley Race who held Vader back, approached The Dynamite Kid and demanded a match with Dynamite Kid who cost him the LCW International Championship last week when Vader faced LCW International Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. Dynamite Kid accepted the challenge and security came out to help Harley Race keep the two men apart.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Big Van Vader wrestled The Dynamite Kid to a no contest in 8:14 after LCW International Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin interfered and hit both men with the Stone Cold Stunner. After the match, Austin grabbed the microphone and got in Dynamite Kid's face and said, "You want to challenge me you little limey son of a bitch. You've got your match next Saturday. See you at the Chase, asshole." Vader started getting back to his feet and Austin hit him with another Stone Cold Stunner.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Paul Orndorff and Billy Jack Haynes who challenged King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang to a match at LCW Showdown at the Chase IV next Saturday, September 30th.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Kevin Von Erich defeated The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart) in 8:33 by disqualification after The Honky Tonk Man hit Von Erich with a guitar. LCW Heritage Champion Greg Valentine came out and joined The Honky Tonk Man in attacking Von Erich. Honky Tonk Man grabbed another guitar from under the ring and was going to use it on Von Erich, but Bob Backlund and Jimmy Snuka came out with steel chairs and saved Von Erich, chasing Valentine and Honky Tonk out of the ring. Von Erich picked up the second guitar and destroyed it with his cast. During the match, Von Erich couldn't apply the claw on Honky Tonk Man because of the cast.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Bobby Heenan who accepted Paul Orndorff and Billy Jack Haynes' challenge on behalf of King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang at Showdown at the Chase IV next Saturday, September 30th.
LCW Television Champion Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Outlaw Ron Bass in 5:27 by pinfall after the Greetings From Asbury Park. After the match, Steve Williams came out with Cowboy Bill Watts and respectfully, which seemed to confuse and upset Watts, challenged Bigelow from the entrance ramp. Bigelow accepted the challenge.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Kevin Sullivan defeated Jake Roberts in 6:12 by pinfall with a small package rollup out of an attempted DDT. After the match, Dusty Rhodes came out and chased Sullivan though the crowd and out of the arena.
In the back, Sean Mooney was interviewing LCW World Tag Team Champions Powers of Pain and Paul Jones when Doom attacked them from behind with steel chairs. After Doom had dominated the Powers of Pain with the steel chairs, they grabbed Paul Jones and Woman got in his face and then slapped him across and said, "Who's the bitch now?" after Paul Jones had said last week that he was going to make Woman his bitch at Showdown at the Chase IV next Saturday.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
In the back, Slick approached Jake Roberts and handed him a small plastic bag that had what appeared to be white powder in it and promised that it would turn him around. Roberts said he couldn't afford it and Slick said it wasn't a problem as long as Roberts would do a favor for him. Roberts accepted and Slick smiled as Roberts walked away.
Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) defeated Rick Steiner in 5:53 by pinfall after the Oklahoma Stampede. After the match, Luna Vachon came out and said, "I don't need Bam Bam Bigelow protecting me because I can protect myself. As a matter of fact, I want in on the match at Showdown at the Chase. I want to join Bam Bam Bigelow when he faces you and I want that fat bastard Cowboy Bill Watts in the match as well. I'm going to teach his fat ass some manners. I'm going to be a bitch, but I'm going to make him treat me like a lady."
In the back, a nervous LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway was getting ready and voicing his concerns to The Ultimate Warrior who reassured him that everything was going to be all right and he would protect him in the ring.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
The Ultimate Warrior and LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway defeated LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and Ivan Koloff in 13:16 by pinfall when Warrior pinned Nikita Koloff after Calaway hit Koloff with a pair of brass knuckles after not being in the ring at all. After the match, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and said, "Calaway, I'm so tired of you either interfering in The Ultimate Warrior's matches or using a weapon on Nikita Koloff, so next Saturday at LCW Showdown at the Chase IV, LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff will defend his title against The Ultimate Warrior in a steel cage match!"
