In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway arrived with The Ultimate Warrior. Sean Mooney approached them and Calaway said that while The Ultimate Warrior failed to win the Universal Championship at the Survival Project last Sunday because he interfered on Warrior's behalf, it didn't matter because Warrior won the Survival Project and was still the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship. Mooney asked Calaway about interfering in the match and hitting Nikita Koloff with the steel chair and Calaway said, "Well, I am the 'Chairman', aren't I?" Calaway and Warrior laughed as they walked away.
LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page and Ricky Steamboat defeated Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) and Lex Luger (with Madusa Micelli) in 6:07 by pinfall when Page pinned Luger after the Diamond Cutter. After the match, Page tried to hit DiBiase with the Diamond Cutter, but Virgil pulled DiBiase away before Page could hit him with the move.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura reviewed Steve Williams' amazing run in the Survival Project gauntlet tournament when he eliminated six wrestlers, including: The Honky Tonk Man, Hillbilly Jim, Lex Luger, Abdullah The Butcher, Tugboat, and Bob Backlund, before being eliminated by LCW Television Champion Bam Bam Bigelow. Williams' time in the gauntlet tournament saw the fans begin to support him. Earlier today, Williams' manager, Cowboy Bill Watts, challenged LCW Television Champion Bam Bam Bigelow to a match tonight, a challenge which Bigelow accepted.
LCW Television Champion Bam Bam Bigelow (with Luna Vachon) defeated Steve Williams (with Cowboy Bill Watts) in 7:12 by disqualification after Watts interfered and tripped Bigelow from ringside in front of the referee. After the match, Williams yelled at Watts for interfering and costing him the title. Watts managed to calm him down.

LCW World Tag Team Champions The Powers of Pain (with Paul Jones) defeated The Fantastics in 2:24 by pinfall when The Barbarian pinned Bobby Fulton after the flying headbutt after a powerslam from The Warlord. After the match, Paul Jones grabbed the microphone and said, "Woman, you bitch. You came into this ring and slapped me last week like I was one of your little spoiled brat children. Well, if you're woman enough to try to pick a fight with me, I'll be man enough to kick your ass. At Showdown at the Chase IV in two weeks, I'm going to make you my bitch."
In the back, Slick confronted Jake Roberts and said, "Jake, my brother, I noticed you didn't do too well in the Survival Project. But that’s okay, because I've got what you need to turn your recent losing streak around. I've got the stuff that will put you back on the track, my brother. All I need you to do is a couple of favors for me and I'll promise you riches and gold. Just think about it." Slick walked out of the room as Roberts continued to get ready.
LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation defeated Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo by disqualification in 6:58 after The Nasty Boys, with Missy Hyatt, interfered and attacked both teams. After the match, Missy Hyatt challenged both teams to a triple threat match at Showdown at the Chase IV in two weeks on Saturday, September 30th.

LCW International Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 9:06 by disqualification when The Dynamite Kid interfered, pushed Vader off the top rope as he was in position to hit Austin with the moonsault, and then hit Austin with the flying headbutt. After the match, The Dynamite Kid grabbed a microphone and challenged Austin to a rematch of their Caged Heat match at Showdown at the Chase IV in two weeks on Saturday, September 30th.

Don Muraco (with Capt. Lou Albano) defeated Jake Roberts in 6:10 by pinfall after the reverse piledriver. After the match, Slick came out and helped Jake Roberts to his feet. Roberts went to hit Slick, but hesitated when Slick said, "I've got what you need," and then walked away. Roberts looked confused by Slick and upset at the loss.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway who announced that the main event at Showdown at the Chase IV in two weeks on Saturday, September 30th, would be a Survival Project rematch, not the title shot that Warrior earned by winning the Survival Project gauntlet tournament last Sunday. Calaway announced that Warrior would not be cashing in his earned title shot until the Night of Horrors pay-per-view on October 29th.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Kevin Von Erich who had his hand in a cast after being attacked and having his hand broken by Greg Valentine last Sunday on the Survival Project pay-per-view with a steel chair. Von Erich said Valentine tried to kill the claw, he tried to kill the Von Erich spirit, but the only thing he did was piss off a Texan and he was going to show Valentine that he made the biggest mistake of his life.
LCW Heritage Champion Greg Valentine (with Jimmy Hart) defeated Tugboat in 4:26 by submission with the figure four leglock in a non-title match. After the match, Kevin Von Erich came out and challenged Valentine to a match at Showdown at the Chase IV in two weeks on Saturday, September 30th. Jimmy Hart said Von Erich would have to beat The Honky Tonk Man first next week before he would even consider giving Von Erich a title shot. Jimmy Hart also took a shot at Von Erich's broken hand and said he'd have to be medically cleared to wrestle, too.

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff (with Ivan Koloff) wrestled The Ultimate Warrior (with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway) to a no-contest in 12:32 after Calaway interfered and accidentally hit Koloff with a steel chair. After the match, Ivan Koloff tried to save Koloff from being further attacked by The Ultimate Warrior, but Calaway also hit him with the steel chair. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel came out and announced, "Calaway, this may be your organization, you may be the Chairman, but during the show that's my ring and if you want to step into my ring during my show then I'm the boss. You got in my ring tonight. So, next week it will be LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff and Ivan Koloff against The Ultimate Warrior…and you!"
