LCW Showdown Television Results 09.06.06
In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and The Ultimate Warrior arrived in a limousine. Sean Mooney approached them and Calaway announced that tonight there would be a qualifying match to determine who would be enter at number one and who would enter at number fifty in the Survival Project. He announced that Paul Orndorff would face, "Oh, I don't know…The Ultimate Warrior!" Calaway began to walk away, but then announced, "Oh, one more thing: I will be the special guest referee."
LCW United States Champions The Hart Foundation defeated The Nasty Boys in 8:35 by disqualification after Brian Knobbs hit Jim Neidhart in the head with the title belt right in front of the referee. After the match, The Nasty Boys continued assaulting The Hart Foundation with steel chairs until The Hart Foundation were almost unconscious. Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo came out with steel chair and cleared The Nasty Boys out of the ring and helped The Hart Foundation to their feet.

In the back, LCW Heritage Champion Greg Valentine, with Jimmy Hart, approached LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel and Hart said Valentine was going to wrestle Kevin Von Erich tonight, but the title wasn't going to be on the line. Bockwinkel said that was fine, but he was going to defend the title in the next thirty days per his contractual obligation as the champion, or he would be stripped of the title. Valentine said he knew what the rules were and was going to defend the title, just not tonight and if Von Erich wanted a title shot, he'd have to earn it.
LCW World Tag Team Champions The Powers of Pain (with Paul Jones) defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express in 12:20 by pinfall when The Warlord pinned Robert Gibson after the powerslam. After the match, Woman came out and slapped Paul Jones who sent The Powers of Pain after her. They chased her to the back where, Doom came out of nowhere and hit them with two-by-fours and stomped them into the ground before LCW security officials came out and pulled them off the Powers of Pain and away from the scene.

Brutus Beefcake defeated The Dynamite Kid (with Sir William) in 5:10 by pinfall with a small package rollup after Sir William accidentally tripped Dynamite Kid from ringside. After the match, The Dynamite Kid attacked Brutus Beefcake and told Sir William to get him a steel chair from ringside. William grabbed a chair and handed it to Dynamite Kid. Dynamite Kid turned around and leveled Sir William with the steel chair and then blasted Beefcake with a chair shot before leaving the ring.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed The Dynamite Kid about hitting his manager Sir William with a steel chair, and Dynamite Kid said Sir William made a mistake and he had no room in his life for people who made mistakes especially those who make the mistake of trying to interview him when he's pissed off. Dynamite Kid then pushed Mooney down to the concrete floor before walking away.
Kevin Von Erich defeated LCW Heritage Champion Greg Valentine (with Jimmy Hart) in 3:11 in a non-title match by pinfall with a small package rollup. A shocked and upset Valentine and Hart complained to the referee as Von Erich jumped the security barricade and celebrated the victory with the fans.
In the back, a member of the production crew handed LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway a striped referee's shirt. Calaway put the shirt on and headed towards the ring.

The Ultimate Warrior defeated Paul Orndorff in 11:55 by pinfall after the Warrior press slam/splash combination with LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway as the special guest referee. During the course of the match, Calaway made slow counts on Orndorff's pinfall attempts and fast counts on Warrior's pin attempts. Orndorff eventually confronted Calaway and grabbed him and went to hit him with the piledriver, but Warrior attacked Orndorff and scored the pinfall for the win with a very fast count from Calaway. As a result of the victory, The Ultimate Warrior will enter the Survival Project at number fifty and Paul Orndorff will enter the Survival Project at number one.
In the back, LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel spoke with Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly Page, who was out of the wheelchair and just wearing a neck brace after being hit with a guitar by The Honky Tonk Man two weeks ago. Page demanded a match against Ted DiBiase who pushed him down a stairwell last week on the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view. Bockwinkel announced that Page's doctors had not cleared him to wrestle yet, therefore Ricky Steamboat would defend the LCW United States Championship tonight on his behalf against…Ted DiBiase. Steamboat approached Page and said he would take care of DiBiase and retain the title for Page.

Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) defeated Ricky Steamboat (substituting and defending the title for LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page) in 11:44 by disqualification after Page interfered and hit DiBiase with the Diamond Cutter. After the match, Page didn’t get back up and seemingly reinjured his shoulder that was injured two weeks ago when Ted DiBiase pushed him down a stairwell in a wheelchair at the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view. Steamboat and Kimberly Page helped Page to the back.

Lex Luger (with Madusa Micelli) defeated Marty Jannetty in 4:12 by submission with the Total Package.
In the back, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway celebrated with The Ultimate Warrior. LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel approached Calaway and said, "The Ultimate Warrior can't be in the Survival Project because he's going to be in the main event against Nikita Koloff." Calaway said, "Not that it should matter, not that I should have to explain myself to you, but this is simply insurance. If Warrior can't win the LCW Universal Championship from Nikita Koloff at Survival Project, and I have no doubt he will, but if he can't he'll win the Survival Project and get a shot at the LCW International Championship. Either way, within the next 30 days, Warrior will be wearing gold. I personally guarantee it."
LCW Television Champion Bam Bam Bigelow (with Luna Vachon) defeated The Missing Link (with Gary Hart) in 7:22 by pinfall after the Greetings From Asbury Park.

LCW Universal Champion Nikita Koloff (with Ivan Koloff) defeated Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 13:39 by pinfall after the Russian Sickle clothesline. Before the match, LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway joined Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura in the broadcast booth to provide guest commentary. After the match, The Ultimate Warrior came out and attacked Nikita Koloff with his own chain. Meanwhile, Big Van Vader and Harley Race held Ivan Koloff so he could watch the attack. Warrior busted Koloff wide open with the chain and then hung him from the top rope with the chain, choking Nikita Koloff as the show went off the air.
