LCW Showdown Television Results (March 26, 2008) live from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Schiavone reviewed last Sunday’s LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view (click here for the complete results) and announced that, as a result of Stan Hansen scoring the winning pinfall on LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin last Sunday night in the main event tag team match, the LCW Board of Directors had officially named Hansen as the number one contender per pre-match stipulations and that tonight Hansen and Austin would sign a contract for the LCW Torment pay-per-view on Sunday, April 20th.
In the parking lot, LCW Founder, and former LCW Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway arrived with LCW Chairman of the Board Jim Crockett, Jr., and immediately upon getting out of their limousine they were approached by Sean Mooney who asked Calaway why he was in the arena tonight. Calaway said, “This is Atlanta, Sean Mooney! This my hometown, man!” The audience exploded. Calaway continued, “Listen to this: Chipper Jones is in the front row, my old frienemy Ted Turner’s in a sky box, and my God could it be true? Yes, my son it is! Tommy Glavine’s back with the Braves where he belongs, baby and sitting in the front row! (The camera showed Tom Glavine laughing sitting next to Chipper Jones in the front row). And, just in case you forgot, this isn’t WCW. This is Legends Championship Wrestling and when LCW comes to Atlanta we sell out the whole damn town! The streets are empty because everyone’s here! Just like the last time we were in Atlanta. You might remember that night, Sean Mooney. LCW SuperClash last year, I went out to that ring and I defeated The Rock in front of more than 70,000 fans. But I’ll be the first to admit it, I got my ass handed to me by the Rock that night, but I walked away with my arm in the air even if I had to have some help to do it. But you know what, he earned my respect that night and I apparently earned his because I just got in the mail, a copy of the new Southland Tales DVD starring none other than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and I’m excited to check it out. Tonight, I’m just hear to enjoy the show and hang out with some friends.” Calaway and Crockett walked away.
LCW Heritage Champion Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin (with Precious) defeated Jesse Ventura in 5:36 by pinfall after a DDT on Precious’ purse which she nonchalantly slipped into the ring. Before the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko reviewed footage of Garvin defeated Ventura for the title last Sunday night at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view (click here for the complete results). After the match, Garvin grabbed a microphone and said, “Well, now that that’s settled… hey, Billy Crack Haynes, you apparently wanted to start something with me in the back last Sunday night at Breaking Point. Well, since I was able to do something that you couldn’t do at Breaking Point, win a title, why don’t you and I finish what you started last Sunday night at Breaking Point, why don’t we finish that at the LCW Torment pay-per-view next month? How about it?” Garvin threw the microphone down and left with Precious.
In the back, Lady Amazon was shown walking through the arena corridor arm in arm with Col. Robert Parker and the new LCW United States Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “That woman has a lot of explaining to do after what she did to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express last Sunday night at Breaking Point. Will Lady Amazon explain herself and her actions at Breaking Point? Stay tuned and we’ll find out next!”
Lady Amazon came to ringside arm in arm with Col. Robert Parker and the new LCW United States Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater. Amazon explained that when she found out she was pregnant, but she was also scared because she knew exactly who the father was. Amazon said it wasn’t “that freak Kevin Sullivan.” Amazon said after being held captive by Kevin Sullivan a few months ago, she didn’t go to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express because he knew they wouldn’t understand and, besides, they never had that kind of relationship. She said she knew they never cared about her. She was there to accomplish a goal: get them the titles and help them keep them and she did that and for that all she got was a thank you and a paycheck, but she wanted more. She wanted friendship, she wanted someone to care about her, and at first she thought she’d find that in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, but as soon as she signed on to be their manager, everything changed. All they cared about was winning the titles and that was fine, for awhile, but it wasn’t enough for her, especially after she was held captive by Kevin Sullivan. Amazon thanked the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express for saving her from Sullivan and she could forgive them of anything after that… “Almost anything,” she added. Amazon said, “Anything that is, but knocking me off the ring apron and causing me to lose my baby. I couldn’t forget that. I couldn’t forgive that. And as I watched the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express coast on to another victory, I knew I had to do something. I knew I couldn’t let them take me for granted anymore. And I knew I had to punish the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, especially Ricky Morton, for what he had cost me. Do you want to know what Ricky Morton said to me when he talked to me after the miscarriage? He wasn’t worried about me, or the baby that he had killed, the child that he had taken from me. All Ricky Morton wanted to know was if I was going to be in the corner of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express at Breaking Point! Well, I was in your corner Ricky Morton and I was the one who pushed you off the top rope and cost you the titles. I took something away from you that you loved just like you took something from me that I loved.” Amazon took a moment to compose herself and then continued, “And as for the father, I waited to tell the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express because I knew who the father was and I knew it was someone that the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express wouldn’t accept and it was something that they wouldn’t understand. You see, after I was held captive by Kevin Sullivan, I didn’t turn to Morton and Gibson, I turned to a neighbor, a fellow Tennessee native…my friend, Col. Robert Parker!” Parker laughed and threw his arms in the air shouting, “I was the daddy! I was the daddy!” Amazon handed Parker the microphone and Parker said, “Thank you, my dear. Yes, it true. It was me all along. I was the daddy! You see, every Southern lady needs a Southern gentleman and Lady Amazon found hers on a cold night in Memphis. I was a shoulder when she needed a strong shoulder to cry on, I was a ear when she needed a sympathetic ear to listen to her, and I was the man when they Rock ‘n’ Roll Express couldn’t measure up! Parker said, “Lady Amazon, my sweet Lady Amazon, we might have lost that baby because of the inept and incompetent Ricky Morton, but if you’ll have me again, I’d love to create another love child with you my darlin’” Lady Amazon smiled and the two of them left the ring. Orton and Slater went to leave the ring as well, but LCW General Manager Ole Anderson came out and said, as Amazon and Parker passed by him on the entrance stage, “Well, no offense to you Lady Amazon or you Col. Robert Parker, but that was just about the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard.” Amazon and Parker were too focused on each other to even hear him and Anderson said, “Wow, they’re really in love. Bob Orton, Dick Slater, I’m actually not out here to address what just happened. I’m out here to address what’s going to happen. Tonight, you’re going to put those newly won titles on the line...against…the Wild Samoans!” Orton and Slater reacted angrily as Afa and Sika made their way to ringside.
LCW United States Tag Team Champions Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater defeated The Wild Samoans in 7:59 by pinfall when Orton pinned Afa after Slater hit Afa with his boot. During the match, the referee was knocked out by Orton’s foot as Afa hit Orton with the Samoan Drop. Meanwhile, Slater took off his boot and blasted Sika, knocking him out of the ring. Afa covered Orton for the pinfall and the win, but Slater climbed to the top rope and blasted Afa on the back of the head with his boot. Slater pulled Afa off of Orton and rolled him onto his back and then draped Orton’s arm over Afa. The referee regained his senses and made the pinfall count as Slater ran over and kicked Sika, who was trying to get back into the ring, in the head. After the match, Orton and Slater celebrated their victory as they made their way to the back.
In the sky box, LCW Founder, and former LCW Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway met with Ted Turner, who was also for a short time the LCW Chairman of the Board. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone talked about the history between the two men as they shook hands.
LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez defeated Killer Khan (with Mr. Fuji) in 4:59 by pinfall after the Flying Burrito.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Paul Orndorff about his return to Legends Championship Wrestling at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results). Mooney asked Orndorff why he attacked his opponent tonight Brutus Beefcake, but more importantly, why he attacked his friend Magnum TA. Orndorff said, “You want to know why, Mooney?! You want to know why!? Well, first of all, that son of a bitch, my ‘friend’ Magnum TA didn’t even visit me in the hospital while I was hurt. Not once! And he had no problem taking my spot, taking my title shot! But you want to know why I really did what I did to Magnum TA last Sunday night at Breaking Point? I saw something in Don Muraco’s eyes before he slammed that cage door on my head a few months ago. I saw the determination, the desperation, the desire to be number one no matter what the cost and that was something that I had lost, but it’s all right, because Don Muraco helped me. By slamming that door on my head, Don Muraco helped me find myself. Don Muraco helped me find the man I used to be. And as for Brutus Beefcake, well, Beefcake was just collateral damage, in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Orndorff laughed and then walked away. Mooney said, “Well Orndorff will face the man he referred to as collateral damage, Brutus Beefcake, right after this. Stay with us.”
Paul Orndorff defeated Brutus Beefcake in 5:37. After the match, Orndorff continued to attack Beefcake and Don Muraco came out with his manager Mr. Fuji and joined in the attack. Magnum TA came out with a steel chair and cleared Orndorff and Muraco out of the ring. Magnum blasted Muraco with the chair and swung the chair at Orndorff, but Orndorff ducked and managed to get out of the ring before Magnum could hit him with the chair. Magnum angrily threw the chair to the floor at Orndorff as he left ringside with Muraco and Fuji.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko reviewed footage of Luna Vachon running down Superstar Billy Graham after Graham’s falls count anywhere match victory over Kevin Sullivan in the arena parking lot. Schaivone interviewed Graham live via satellite from his hospital bed. Graham said he had suffered a torn rotator cuff, several broken ribs, and a dislocated hip which he had replaced in 1986. Graham said because of his past drug abuse, he’s staying away from pain killers and is suffering through the pain, but warned that it was going to be nothing compared to the pain that he was going to make Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon suffer through when he returns. Schiavone asked Graham how long doctors said he would be out of action and Graham said it would be four to six months, but promised he would be back by SuperClash! Schiavone thanked Graham for his time and wished him the best during his recovery.
In the back, LCW Founder, and former Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway was watching a bonus feature from the new Southland Tales DVD starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Calaway was on the phone and said, “Yeah, Rock. It looks great. Listen, about all that stuff that happened between us last year…” Calaway paused to listen to something that The Rock had to say and then said, “Yeah, I know, but it was just wrong, man. I was a different person, I was in a different place then, but I’ve changed and I’d like to apologize and invite you to take part in this year’s LCW SuperClash.” Calaway paused again to listen to the Rock and replied, “Well, just think about it. Let me know if you’re interested. I think we can make it worth your while.” Calaway thanked the Rock and then went back to watching Southland Tales.
Randy Savage defeated Ken Patera in 4:26 by pinfall after the flying elbow smash. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page appeared on the LegendsTron and challenged Savage to last man standing match next week on LCW Showdown for the title. Page said, “You want to try to take me out of action, monkey? You want to hit me with four flying elbow smashes? You apparently wanted to get my attention. Well, you’ve got it Savage. Next week, I want you one on one, in the center of that ring.” Savage said if there wasn’t anything in it for him he wasn’t interested. Page said he would put the title on the line, but only if it was a last man standing match because he not only wanted to finish Savage, he wanted to finish him with an exclamation point. Savage agreed and said he was going to relish in taking the title from Page. Several times during the segment, Savage and Page seemed to be talking over each other. As Savage continued berating Page after accepting the challenge, Page would randomly say things like, “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” and “Whatever.” Suddenly, as Savage continued to taunt Page on the LegendsTron, the audience began to cheer excitedly as Diamond Dallas Page made his way through the crowd and got into the ring. Savage thought the fans were cheering for him and he said, “See, Page, even these people want to see me kick your ass!” Page, in the ring, tapped Savage on the shoulder and when Savage turned around, Page dropped Savage with the Diamond Cutter before leaving through the crowd.
In the back, LCW Founder, and former Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway was watching another bonus feature from the new Southland Tales DVD starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Nikita Koloff walked into the office and the two men starred at each other for a moment before Koloff hugged Calaway and welcomed him back. Koloff asked if Calaway was going to welcome him back and Calaway said he wasn’t, especially after what he did last Sunday night to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Koloff told Calaway he was doing what they do best, making an impact, and he thought Calaway would be proud of him. Calaway told Koloff he wasn’t proud of him and what he did was unacceptable. Calaway, “Let’s rewind the tape a little bit. I don’t know if you’ve taken too many hits to that thick Russian muscle head of yours, but the last time we were in the ring together I helped Austin take the LCW Universal Championship from you.” Koloff said he has forgiven Calaway for that and he knew he was trying to make a point to Austin and get Austin off his back, but the past was the past and they could reform the Entourage and do what they do best, dominate and make an impact. Calaway said, “You’re just not getting it, are you, Nikita? The Entourage is in the past. Our partnership is in the past. I don’t want to dominate and make an impact the way we used to anymore. That’s all in the past. That’s not who I am anymore. It’s over!” Koloff said, “Well, it not over for Russian Nightmare.” Calaway said, “And you know what, that’s all right for you, but let me make one thing perfectly clear: I want nothing to do with it! You understand? I don’t want any part of the consequences or repercussions that might come with any actions that you take. I’m trying to get my company back. I’m trying to be the Chairman of the Board again. And when I am the Chairman of the Board again, things will most certainly be different. Next time around, and there will be a next time, it’s coming soon, things will be different.” Calaway walked out of the office leaving Koloff there alone.
In the back, Slick approached Koko B. Ware and said it was said how low he had fallen. Slick said, “A couple of months ago, you were bound for main events, but last Sunday night at LCW Breaking Point you were nothing more than a hired gun, a bodyguard with a steel chair keeping Kimchee and Kamala in their locker room while that other pathetic loser Iceman Parsons lost his mind and brutally attacked Abdullah the Butcher. What’s sad and even more pathetic than that uncontrollable mental case Parsons is you being a bodyguard.” Slick laughed, but stopped laughing when Ware grabbed his lapels and pushed him up against the wall. As Slick begged off Ware, Tony Atlas appeared from behind Ware and attacked him, throwing him head first into a locker room door before leaving with Slick.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko introduced a video announcement that first aired last Sunday night at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view (click here for the complete results) about Madusa Micelli and the LCW Women’s Championship. The video was replayed on the LegendsTron. LCW Chairman of the Board Jim Crockett, Jr., appeared on the LegendsTron from LCW Headquarters in Sacramento, CA, with the LCW Board of Directors. Lying in front of him was the LCW Women’s Championship title belt. Crockett the following statement, “Many of us, like many of the legends in the locker rooms and the fans in attendance and watching around the world last week, were shocked and saddened by the announcement from LCW Women’s Champion Madusa Micelli last week on LCW Showdown that she was leaving Legends Championship Wrestling for, at this moment, an undisclosed amount of time. In light of the announcement, we are, after much thought and discussion, exercising our option as the governing body in Legends Championship Wrestling to vacant the LCW Women’s Championship effective immediately and we are declaring the title deactivated until further notice. Thank you.” The screen went blank and the audience voiced their disapproval.
The Midnight Express came out and bragged about bringing down the LCW World Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view last Sunday. The Midnight Express had the production truck show the footage of them attacking the Skyscrapers and putting them through tables at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results). Demolition appeared and said, “You didn’t bring down anything. You only got the Skyscrapers attention. We’re the only team in Legends Championship Wrestling that brings down teams. We don’t just bring them down. We demolish them! Last year, we brought down the Skyscrapers and next week, we’re bringing down the Midnight Express!” Demolition walked away leaving the Midnight Express in the ring to react.
From ringside, ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta introduced LCW Founder, and former LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway and the Atlanta crowd exploded for their hometown hero. Calaway thanked the audience and said it was great to be home. Calaway introduced the Atlanta Braves sitting in the front row: Mike Hampton, Tim Hudson, ff Francoeur, Chipper Jones, John Smoltz, and Tom Glavine who Calaway said had been “forgiven for your sins” (referring to Glavine’s two-season stint with the New York Mets). Glavine laughed again at the remark and Calaway thanked the audience again and left. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone reminded everyone that the contract signing between LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and Stan Hansen was coming up next!
In the ring, Mean Gene Okerlund came out for the contract signing between LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and the number one contender Stan Hansen. Okerlund introduced LCW General Manager Ole Anderson and LCW Chairman of the Board Jim Crockett, Jr., who came out with the contract, the challenger Hansen, and the champion Austin. Hansen signed the contract and then Austin signed the contract. Austin asked for some beers from ringside and said, “There’s no reason we can’t celebrate this contract signing with a little beer is there? I mean, hell, we’re both Texans. We’re both proud Americans even though you spend most of your time in Japan, but that’s all right. There’s a lot of money to be made over there. And, you know what, we’re both former LCW Universal Champions. Well, I’m still the LCW Universal Champion and you’ll never be the LCW Universal Champion again as long as I’m champion because I’ll be damned if I’m dropping the title to you, but all that matters is that you were once the champion. That’s something we have in common. Hell son, you beat Hulk Hogan to win the title. That’s pretty damn impressive if you ask me.” Austin then got in Hansen’s face and said, “But I’m not Hulk Hogan,” There was a tense moment between then, but Austin broke then tension when knocked his beer can into Hansen’s beer car, getting some of the beer on Hansen’s face. After Hansen wiped the beer off his face, he took a swig of the beer and then spit it in Austin’s face. Austin and Hansen began to brawl with each other and Austin began to gain the upper hand and knocked Hansen out of the ring. Meanwhile, Nikita Koloff ran out and attacked Austin from behind. Koloff picked up the LCW Universal Championship and looked at Hansen who was standing on the ring apron. Koloff told Hansen, “This is mine. But I can wait. Whether it’s you or him (pointing to Austin), this will be mine again!” Austin got back to his feet and hit Koloff with the Stone Cold Stunner and then clothesline Hansen, who had come back into the ring, over the top rope. As Hansen was leaving ringside, Koloff, still weary from the Stunner, rolled out of the ring and Hansen hit him with the Lariat clothesline. Austin called for more beers as Hansen left ringside. Austin poured beer over Koloff’s face and Koloff regained his senses and angrily left ringside.
LCW Showdown Television Results (March 19, 2008) live from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.
Tonight’s edition of LCW Showdown is dedicated in loving memory to Gary Hart (1942-2008).
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as the legends of Legends Championship Wrestling began to walk out to ringside and surround the ring and line the entrance way. Ring announcer Gary Michael Capetta informed the audience that Sunday, March 16th, legendary manager and featured legend Gary Hart passed away at the age of 66. Capetta asked for a moment of silence as the bell tolled ten times. After the bell tolled, a video tribute played on the LegendsTron. After the video finished airing, the audience began to chant Hart’s name as the wrestlers returned to the back. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone announced that LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin Austin would defend his title in a rematch from LCW Showdown last week against Stan Hansen in this week’s main event.
Magnum TA defeated Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) in 7:36 by pinfall after the belly-to-belly suplex. After the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said during the replay, “It wouldn’t consider it an upset, not by a long shot because both of these guys are World Champion caliber competitors, but it certainly is an impressive win for Magnum TA.”
On the LegendsTron, live via satellite from LCW Headquarters in Sacramento, CA, LCW Women’s Champion Madusa Micelli was shown sitting with Mean Gene Okerlund. Okerlund was overlooking his notes while a production crew member put on his lapel microphone. Meanwhile, Madusa had a makeup woman applying makeup to her. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “Stay tuned for an interview that we’re being told that LCW Women’s Champion Madusa Micelli asked for so she could make an announcement. We know as much about this as you folks at home do and I’m sure we’ll find out what this special interview is all about and why Madusa asked for when we return. Stay with us! Don’t you go anywhere!” The show went to commercial.
In a sit-down interview, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW Women’s Champion Madusa Micelli who asked for the interview. Madusa said, “You know, Gene, a lot has happened the past couple of months, a lot of bad things. There’s been a lot of dark moments in my life personally and professionally, but winning this title was one of the good moments. Having all those fans in Japan in my corner supporting me when I beat Luna Vachon, after all my history with some of the Japanese women wrestlers, having the support of the Japanese wrestling fans meant the world to me. And knowing that the fans in America were pulling for me, that meant the world to me as well. But winning the title, with all that’s happened over the past year, without Lex Luger in my corner, it didn’t mean what it should have meant.” An emotional Madusa paused and Gene told her to take a moment. Madusa continued and said, “I just don’t think I can do this anymore, Gene. I’ve been in this business for twenty years. I started wrestling back in 1987. I’ve been the AWA Women’s Champion, I’ve been the WWF Women’s Champion, I’ve been the WCW Women’s Champion, and now I’m a two-time LCW Women’s Champion. But it doesn’t mean what it used to mean to me. This business has changed, my life has changed, and I don’t know if I like how it’s changed and I don’t know if I like how it’s changed me. I just don’t know if I want to be a part of it anymore. I just don’t know if I can do it anymore. I have the heart of a champion, I’m a fighter, a competitor…but Gene…my spirit is broken. I go out to that ring with the heart and spirit of a champion and entertain the fans. And if I cant give the fans 100% as the champion, I don’t… I just don’t want to let them down, Gene. So, I think I’m going to take a break. I’m going to walk away. I’m walking away from the business, I’m walking away from the fans, and, most importantly, I’m walking away from this (looking at the LCW Women’s Championship). I need some time to find myself, to fix my spirit, to be the champion the fans deserve.” Okerlund asked Madusa, “Well, I’m sure you’ll understand my wanting to know as everyone will want to know: will you be coming back?” Madusa paused for a moment and looked at the LCW Women’s Championship and said, “Gene…I honestly I don’t know. At this time, in this moment, all I can is say is…hopefully.” Madusa stood up, took off her lapel microphone, placed the LCW Women’s Championship on her chair and walked away. The camera zoomed in on the title belt as the show went to commercial.
The Midnight Express and The Stud Stable (with Col. Robert Parker) defeated LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (with Lady Amazon) and The Wild Samoans in 5:35 by pinfall in an eight-man tag team match when Bobby Eaton pinned Robert Gibson after the Alabama Jam. During the match, Col. Robert Parker kept trying to flirt with and get the attention of Lady Amazon who seemed disgusted by his advances. In an effort to get away from Parker, Amazon jumped on the ring apron only to be accidentally knocked off by Ricky Morton, who was thrown against the ropes by Dennis Condrey. Lady Amazon, hunched over in pain, held her stomach. After the match, the Wild Samoans brawled into the crowd with the Midnight Express. Meanwhile outside the ring, Parker continued making advances towards Lady Amazon, who was still in pain after being knocked off the ring apron. Amazon finally had enough and slapped Parker across the face and left up the entrance ramp. Parker grabbed a microphone and got in the ring with Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater and said, “All right, Amazon. I tried to be a nice guy, but you just wanted to be a bitch! Well, that’s fine with me, but it’s not so good for your boys. So go ahead, run away, but just so you know, this is just a little taste of what’s coming for you and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express at LCW Breaking Point this Sunday.” Orton then picked up Gibson and, with help from Slater, hit him with a spike piledriver. Morton came into the ring with a steel chair and cleared the Stud Stable out of the ring.
In the back, an unusually quiet and sullen Kamala and Abdullah the Butcher were wandering around the arena corridor confused and seemed lost, unable to find their way to ringside without their manager Gary Hart by their side. Kevin Sullivan appeared and guided them in the right direction.
In the back, Ricky Morton helped Robert Gibson into the locker room and heard Lady Amazon crying in the bathroom. Morton asked her if she was all right. Amazon said she wasn’t and asked Morton to get a doctor. Morton asked what was wrong and Amazon said, “I think I’ve lost the baby!”
LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez and Koko B. Ware defeated Abdullah the Butcher and Kamala by disqualification after The Genius Lanny Poffo interfered and attacked Manny Fernandez in front of the referee. After the bell, Kamala and Abdullah attacked Ware as Poffo continued attacking Fernandez. Abdullah and Kamala, having sufficiently decimated Ware outside the ring, left him lying at ringside and made their way up the entrance ramp. Meanwhile, in the ring, Poffo stood over a bloody Fernandez with the LCW Television Championship, stared at the title for a moment, and then dropped the title on Fernandez as Iceman King Parsons ran out and jumped into the ring. From the entrance ramp, LCW General Manager Ole Anderson appeared and said he wanted to settle this thing between Iceman King Parsons and Abdullah the Butcher once and for all and it was going to be settled at LCW Breaking Point. Anderson said that before Gary Hart passed he had agreed to allow Abdullah the Butcher to get into the ring with Iceman King Parsons and was even more determined to see Abdullah end Parsons after Parsons attacked Hart last week on Showdown. Footage played on the LegendsTron of Parsons attacking Gary Hart. Anderson said, “While Gary Hart’s passing is tragic and his loss is felt even now, but I know he’d want this feud to continue and, even more, I know he’d want it to come to an end. Well, Iceman it looks like you’re going to get your way because, thanks to Gary Hart, you will get to step into the ring with Abdullah the Butcher this Sunday at LCW Breaking Point in a match dedicated to the memory of Gary Hart.” Anderson continued, “But I’ll make it even more worth your while. I’ll level the playing field for you. You spent the last several weeks in blindness. Well, how about one more night? How about a blindfold match at LCW Breaking Point?” The audience exploded and Parsons agreed to the stipulation. Parsons said he was going to blind Abdullah the Butcher like he blinded him, but the only difference is that he was going to blind Abdullah the Butcher…permanently!
In the back, Sean Mooney approached a bloody LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez who said, “Lanny Poffo, I don’t know what you’re deal is, daddy, but you just signed your death warrant, man! You want to start something with me, brother? Well, I’m going to let you start it, but I’m going to finish it!” Fernandez then wiped some blood from his forehead and smeared it across the LCW Television Championship and said, “This is mine and if you want it you’re going to have to kill me for it! If you want it, come get it! I dare ya, daddy!”
Billy Jack Haynes defeated One Man Gang (with Skandor Akbar) by disqualification in 6:18 after Skandor Akbar hit Haynes on the back with his cane while Haynes had Gang in the full nelson. Before the match, LCW General Manager Ole Anderson came out and said the winner of the match would face LCW International Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view this Sunday. After the match, Williams appeared with his manager Cowboy Bill Watts and hit Haynes with a spear before leaving the ring with Watts and leaving Haynes lying motionless in the ring.
In the back, a doctor spoke with Lady Amazon and told her that she had a miscarriage. Ricky Morton tried to comfort her, but she pushed him away and said, “This is all your fault!” Morton said it was an accident and said it was Bobby Eaton’s fault for throwing him against the ropes. Amazon, still grimacing in pain from the miscarriage, said she didn’t want to hear it and staggered out of the room.
LCW World Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers (with Capt. Lou Albano) defeated The Powers of Pain (with Paul Jones) in 5:47 pinfall when Sid Vicious pinned The Barbarian after the powerbomb. During the match, Capt Lou Albano came out and knocked Paul Jones, who was attempting to interfere, out of the ring with a headbutt. After the match, the Rougeau Brothers came out and attacked the Skyscrapers and knocked them out with Jimmy Hart’s megaphone.
LCW Heritage Champion Jesse Ventura defeated King Kong Bundy in 3:19 by pinfall after the Body Breaker. After the match, from the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone noted that Bundy has seemed lost without manager Bobby Heenan by his side. After the match, as Ventura made his way through the curtain he accidentally bumped into Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin and the two men began to brawl with each other.
Brutus Beefcake came for his “Barber Shop” interview segment and introduced his guests: Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji. Beefcake asked Muraco if he was worried about the returning to LCW after what they did to him a few months ago, slamming his head in a steel cage door. On the LegendsTron, footage of the attack played and Muraco and Fuji laughed and Muraco said he’d do it again if he had the opportunity. Muraco said they weren’t worried because he could put Orndorff on the shelf for good if he wanted to. Muraco said he wanted to show Beefcake exactly what he was going to do to Ordorff. Muraco went to punch Beefcake, but Beefcake blocked the punch and leveled Muraco with a couple of right hands. However, when he turned around to look for Fuji, Fuji was waiting for him with a handful of powder. Temporarily blinded, Muraco attacked Beefcake and hit him with a shoulderbreaker and then left the ring with Mr. Fuji.

LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestled Stan Hansen to a no contest in 9:48 after Magnum TA and Big Van Vader interfered and started brawling with each other and with Austin and Hansen. LCW General Manager Ole Anderson came out with security officials and got in the ring with the security officials who kept the four men away from each other. Anderson said, “Hold it, hold it, hold it one damned minute! You know everywhere I go, everyone in the back, everyone out on the streets, everyone in the airports are stopping me and asking me, ‘What’s the main event for the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view this Sunday?’ I’ll admit. I’ve taken my time because, quite honestly, I was waiting to see how this little thing between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Lariat Stan Hansen was going to play out. But it’s apparent to me know that because of Magnum TA and Big Van Vader this thing has grown into something larger. Well, ladies and gentlemen your main event for the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view this Sunday is in this very ring right now. That’s right! Stone Cold Steve Austin will team with Magnum TA to face Stan Hansen and Big Van Vader! ‘But, Ole,’ you might be asking, ‘Ole, that’s just a tag team match. Is that main event caliber enough for a pay-per-view?’ And you know what, I thought the same thing. And we’re both right. It’s a great tag team match, but without something on the line, I don’t know if it’s pay-per-view main event caliber. So I’ve decided to add a little stipulation to make things more interesting for everyone involved. If Stan Hansen or Big Van Vader can pin LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin they will be the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship! Oh, but wait. Magnum, I haven’t forgotten about you. After you’re impressive win over Big Van Vader today, I think you deserve a shot at the title. If you can pin Hansen or Vader this Sunday night, you will be the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship!” The audience exploded with approval as Austin and Magnum stared at each other. Hansen and Vader broke through security and tried to get at Austin and Magnum again and the two teams began to brawl again as security tried to no avail to regain control as the show went off the air.
LCW Showdown Television Results (March 12, 2008) live from the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, NM.
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko welcomed everyone to LCW Showdown as "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance, the LCW Showdown theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Col. Robert Parker about his team the Stud Stable, Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater, facing the Killer Bees tonight to earn a shot at the LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Parker said, “We can take care of the Killer Bees. We gonna take care of the Killer Bees, tonight. The Killer Bees aren’t going to get to sting Cowboy Bob Orton or Dirty Dick Slater tonight because the Stud Stable is going to squash the Killer Bees! And then we’re coming for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and the LCW United States Tag Team Champions at LCW Breaking Point. And then March 23rd will be the day the music died for Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. But what I want to know Sean Mooney is this: who’s the father of Lady Amazon’s baby? Has anyone thought to ask her that? Has anyone stopped to think about that?” Parker walked away with Orton and Slater to make their way to ringside.
Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater (with Col. Robert Parker) defeated The Killer Bees in 4:10 by pinfall when Orton pinned Brian Blair after a spike piledriver. During the match, LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and their manager Lady Amazon joined Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko in the broadcast booth. In addition to discussing the match, they also discussed Lady Amazon’s pregnancy. Schiavone brought up Col. Robert Parker’s earlier question about the father of the baby and Lady Amazon took off her headset and slammed it down on the table before storming away. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express followed after her asking her what the big deal was. After the match, Parker celebrated in the ring with Orton and Slater as Morton and Gibson followed Amazon to the back.
LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez defeated The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart) in 6:11 by disqualification after Kamala and Abdullah the Butcher interfered, with their manager Gary Hart, and attacked Fernandez. After the match, Abdullah and Kamala attacked Fernandez until Koko B. Ware came out with a steel chair and cleared them out of the ring. As Jimmy Hart and the Honky Tonk Man were leaving ringside, they passed by Gary Hart who handed Jimmy Hart some money. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone screamed, “This was a setup! This was a damn setup!”
In the back, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express continued pursing Lady Amazon and they finally stopped her and Morton asked her, “What’s the big deal? Who’s the father of the baby? What’s the big secret?” Amazon said it was one of two men and both of them were going to come with bad consequences. Morton said whoever it was, everything was going to be fine and they would stand by her no matter what. Gibson told her to come out with it and tell them who she thought the father might be. Amazon said she wasn’t sure, but it could have been Kevin Sullivan. Amazon said, “I don’t know what he did to me, but I wasn’t with anyone before being held hostage by him and I’d be more pregnant now if I had been.” Gibson said, “Let’s pray it’s not him.” Morton said they’d kick Sullivan’s ass if he took advantage of her. Gibson asked who the other man was and she said she wasn’t sure, but she was with someone after “the whole Kevin Sullivan situation.” She said it was a mistake and she really hoped he wasn’t the father because “it would be horrible.”
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Kevin Sullivan, who was with Luna Vachon, about the possibility of being the father of Lady Amazon’s baby. Sullivan denied being the father and said he didn’t do anything inappropriate with Lady Amazon while he held her captive. Sullivan said, “Besides, why would I need with her, when I’ve got the most beautiful woman in the world by my side (referring to Luna Vachon). Luna growled and smiled an evil smile. Superstar Billy Graham appeared and started laughing and said, “Most beautiful woman in the world, huh? Man, Sullivan, I just thought you were sick in the head. You must be blind as well.” Vachon slapped Graham across the face and Sullivan pulled her away. Graham smiled and then grabbed Sullivan and got in his face and said, “That was a mistake. But I’m not out here to start a fight even though I have every reason to. Don’t think I’ve forgotten that you cost me the LCW International Championship last month at LCW Descent. And don’t think I’ve forgotten that attack last week, but you know what I’m the bigger man. I can turn the other cheek for the moment. I can kick you ass when we’re in the ring one on one like men. I’m not a coward like you who has to kidnap women and hold them hostage or attack real men from behind. I’m out here to tell you to be a man, Sullivan. If you’re the father of Lady Amazon’s baby, accept responsibility before I make you accept responsibility.” Graham then suddenly released Sullivan and dropped to his knees in pain as Vachon had snuck behind him and hit him with a low blow. Sullivan started pounding on Graham and the two men began brawling in the back.
The Wild Samoans and Capt. Lou Albano defeated The Powers of Pain and Paul Jones in 4:37 by pinfall when Capt. Lou Albano pinned Paul Jones after Afa hit Jones with a Samoan Drop. After the match, as the Wild Samoans and Capt. Lou Albano made their way to the back, the Midnight Express, dressed as arena security, jumped over the security guard rail and attacked the Wild Samoans in the entrance way.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed The Midnight Express who said they were taking initiative and making an impact. Dennis Condrey said they went to LCW General Manager Ole Anderson about a title shot and he told them to take some initiative and make an impact and that’s exactly what they’re doing. They said beating the former LCW World Tag Team Champions should make an impact, an impact the world wasn’t soon to forget.
Butch Reed (with Slick and Gary Hart) defeated Iceman King Parsons in 5:17 by pinfall after a running shoulderblock. During the match, the referee was accidentally knocked out and Gary Hart and Slick got into the ring. Parsons tried to hit Gary Hart with the Butt Bump, but Hart pulled Slick in the way and Parsons hit Slick with the Butt Bump instead. The distraction allowed Reed to hit Parsons with the running shoulderblock for the pinfall and the win. {COMMERCIAL BREAK}
The Genius Lanny Poffo (with Sheamus O’Shaunessy) defeated Rowdy Roddy Piper in 5:17 by pinfall after Sheamus O’Shaunessy threw Poffo’s metal scroll to Poffo who blasted Piper with the scroll for the pinfall and the win.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Gary Hart, who was with Abdullah the Butcher and Kamala, about pulling Slick in the way of Iceman King Parsons’ Butt Bump. Hart said he was just doing what he had to do to protect himself from Parsons, whom he called a dangerous man because he was a man who only had revenge on his mind, and a man with only revenge on his man was the most dangerous kind of man. Suddenly, LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez and Koko B. Ware appeared with steel chairs and blasted Kamala and Abdullah the Butcher, knocking them out. Gary Hart tried to run, but he ran into Iceman King Parsons who grabbed him and told Fernandez and Ware to “watch them” (referring to Abdullah and Kamala). Parsons then dragged Hart, kicking and screaming, out of the interview area as the show went to commercial break.
Iceman King Parsons came to ringside, pulling behind him a kicking and screaming Gary Hart, who was struggling to break free. Parsons threw Hart into the ring and Hart immediately went to his knees and started begging Parsons for forgiveness. grabbed a microphone and then grabbed Gary Hart who was laying in the corner and Parsons sat him up in the corner and said, “Gary Hart, you pathetic, roody poo piece of crap, I want Abdullah the Butcher in the center of the ring at LCW Breaking Point. I want to burn him like he burned me. I want to blind him like he blinded me. I want him to suffer like I had to suffer and if I don’t get him in the ring, I’m just going to keep making you suffer.” Parsons then went to leave the ring, but then came back into the ring and charged at Hart, who was still propped up in the far corner, hitting him with a running hip attack to the head before leaving the ring.
In the back, Superstar Billy Graham and Kevin Sullivan were still brawling and had taken their brawl into the parking lot. LCW General Manager Ole Anderson appeared with security officials who pulled Graham and Sullivan apart. Anderson said, “You guys have lost control. But since you guys want to brawl all over the arena, that’s exactly what I’m going to let you do at LCW Breaking Point in two weeks. You two are going to face each other one on one in a falls count anywhere match. How does that sound?” Graham voiced his approval as did Sullivan. Luna Vachon yelled something to Anderson and Anderson said, “Oh yeah, and Kevin Sullivan, one more thing before I forget. Do us all a favor and keep that crazy bitch at home in the dungeon or wherever you keep her because she’ll be banned from the building!” Vachon moved to go after Anderson, but Sullivan held her back. Graham and Sullivan walked away as security escorted them both in opposite directors away from each other.
A formal dining table was setup in the ring and the Rougeau Brothers came out in suits accompanied by their manager Jimmy Hart. The Rougeau Brothers said they were in the ring with a formal dining table to teach the American’s in the audience some table manners, French table manners! Jacques Rougeau said if anyone should pay attention to them it would be the LCW World Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers. The Rougeau Brothers said since they were the champions they had to represent themselves as champions. The Skyscrapers appeared and attacked the Rougeau Brothers. The Rougeau Brothers managed to get out of the ring unscathed, but Jimmy Hart found himself stuck in the ring with the Skyscrapers. As Dan Spivey held Hart, Sid Vicious said, “We’ll make this easy for you. If you cowards get back in the ring, we’ll let this little snake in the grass go. If not, we’re going to powerbomb his ass through this table. What’ll it be, boys?” The Rougeau Brothers said they weren’t getting back in the ring as Jimmy Hart begged for his life. Sid Vicious said, “Fine. If that’s the way you want it.” Sid Vicious put Jimmy Hart in position for the powerbomb, but Dan Spivey interrupted her and said, Wait, wait, wait!” Vicious seemed confused and Spivey said, “I’ve always wanted to do this,” as he grabbed the table cloth and pulled on it, trying, like a magician, to remove the table cloth without disturbing any of the content on the table. However, when he removed the table cloth, everything on the table fell to the mat. Spivey said, “Oh, well.” Vicious then continued and powerbombed Jimmy Hart through the table. The Rougeau Brothers pulled Hart from the ring and then left ringside and The Skyscrapers celebrated with the fans. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said “Slick, Gary Hart, and now Jimmy Hart! This has not been a good night for the managers in LCW!”
LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Stan Hansen in 8:37 by disqualification Big Van Vader interfered and attacked Austin. After the match, Hansen and Vader attacked Austin until Magnum TA came out and brawled with Vader. Hansen tried to hit Austin with the Lariat clothesline, but Austin moved and Austin hit Hansen with the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin then hit Vader with the Stunner and went to hit Magnum with the Stunner, but when he realized it was Magnum he just walked away and left the ring as the show went off the air.

After the match, a promo played on the LegendsTron that featured highlights from Paul Orndorff’s career and the attack from Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji two months ago when Muraco and Fuji slammed Orndorff’s head in a steel cage door. Orndorff then appeared in the promo standing in a black suit in the middle of a white room and said, “Don Muraco. Mr. Fuji. The days are counting down. You’re days are numbered. I’m coming back to Legends Championship Wrestling and you’re the first names on my list. See you soon.” The promo ended and Muraco and Fuji reacted as they made their way up the entrance ramp.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW Television Champion Manny Fernandez who regained his title at the LCW Descent pay-per-view two weeks ago in Tokyo, Japan from Abdullah the Butcher who had won the title from him only a week earlier after throwing a fireball in the face of Iceman King Parsons. Fernandez said he had regained the title because he wanted it back and if there was one thing everyone needed to know about Manny Fernandez it was that you couldn’t hold him down or hold him back. Fernandez said, “You don’t ever try to hold down or hold back a Mexican, don’t ever try to hold back or hold down an American, don’t ever try to hold down or hold back a Navy Seal, and you don’t even try to hold back or hold down the Raging Bull!”

Amazon told Missy that she thought she might be pregnant. Missy asked Amazon if she had taken a pregnancy test and Amazon said she had and the results were positive, but she asked Missy to keep is a secret because she didn’t know how to tell the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and she wanted them to stay focused on wrestling. Missy told her she would keep it a secret, but told Amazon that she’d have to tell them eventually. Amazon said she knew she’d have to soon and she would when the time was right. Missy and Amazon left the women’s locker room together and Col. Robert Parker could be seen around the corner. It was clear that Parker was eavesdropping on their conversation as he had a smile on his face and said, “Well now, isn’t that interesting.”
The Rougeau Brothers (with Jimmy Hart) defeated The Fantastics in 4:16 by pinfall. After the match, the Rougeau Brothers kicked the Fantastics out of the ring and Jimmy Hart handed a microphone to Jacques Rougeau. Jacques started bashing America and the American tag teams and said, “Let’s face is, not only is Canada better than America, French-Canadian is better than American! We proved it tonight and we’re going to keep on proving it until we get a shot at some tag team titles. You see, we’ve been sitting in the back and have been ignored for far too long and we know why. It’s because we’re Canadian. And not only that, we’re French-Canadians. We know that you Americans have no respect for Canadians, but you have even less respect for the French. Every time our manager Jimmy Hart has asked for a title shot, he’s been ignored by the LCW Board of Directors. So we’re going to do what we do best. We’re going to wrestle, we’re going to earn the respect of the Board of Directors, and we’re going to earn the respect of all the American fans by showing them the truth: that anything French-Canadian is, by default, better than American.” Jacques dropped the microphone and left with Raymond Rougeau and Jimmy Hart as the audience booed them as they exited up the entrance ramp.
In the back, Jesse Ventura and LCW Heritage Champion Stan Hansen were shown on a split-screen making their way through the arena corridors and to ringside for their upcoming match.

In the back, Gary Hart was watching the match on a monitor with Abdullah the Butcher and Kamala. Hart pulled the TV off its stand and said, “We’ve got to do something about that punk Manny Fernandez. I’m so tired of hearing him talk about pride and honor. It makes me sick. Next week, we need to do something and I think I know the perfect person to talk to about helping us putting down the Raging Bull once and for all!”
From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko reviewed footage of Sheamus O’Shaunessy, who was the special guest referee in a match between Rowdy Roddy Piper and The Genius Lanny Poffo at the LCW Descent pay-per-view two weeks ago, turning on Rowdy Roddy Piper who had been trying to convince O’Shaunessy to be his own man and stop letting The Genius Lanny Poffo and Randy Savage use him as their bodyguard.
Rowdy Roddy Piper defeated Sheamus O’Shaunessy (with The Genius Lanny Poffo) in 1:09 by knockout with the sleeperhold. At the start of the match, Piper spit at Poffo who was standing at ringside. Iceman said he had a match tonight against one of the members of Gary Hart’s Gallery of Freaks, Kamala, but that wasn’t enough. He said he wanted Abdullah in the ring one on one because he wanted Abdullah to suffer how he had suffered. He said, “The Bible says an eye for an eye, daddy. Well, I’m going to bring darkness to Abdullah the Butcher’s world when I blind him just as he blinded me!”
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Randy Savage about Diamond Dallas Page winning the LCW United States Championship. Savage said he didn't care whether it was Tully Blanchard or Diamond Dallas Page, but he was going to have a lot of fun kicking the ass of one of Hulk Hogan's friends and one of his old nemesis, Diamond Dallas Page. Savage said, "Speaking of Hogan, his world just keeps falling apart doesn't it? I hear in the news that the great Hulk Hogan may have cheated on his wife. Well, let me reassure you that this isn't the only time that he has stepped out on his marriage, if you know what I'm saying. Oh no, it isn't. Let's just say that when the boys are on the road, well, things tend to happen. You know what I'm saying? Things happen. I'm not one to tell tales, but I'm just saying...things happen. Oohhh yeah!" Savage walked away leaving a shocked Mooney speechless.
Iceman King Parsons defeated Kamala (with Gary Hart) in 5:27 by pinfall after the Butt Bump. After the match, Parsons tried to hit Hart with the Butt Bump, but Hart managed to slip out of the ring. LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express (with Lady Amazon) defeated The Midnight Express in 5:28 by pinfall when Morton pinned Condrey with a rollup. After the match, Col. Robert Parker came out with Cowboy Bob Orton and Dirty Dick Slater and challenged the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express on behalf of the Stud Stable. Ricky Morton said that the Stud Stable hadn’t done anything to deserve title shots. Parker said, “How about this? Lady Amazon, you give the Stud Stable a title shot, you put those two little rock ‘n’ roll punks in the ring with some real men, and I won’t tell the world you’re little secret. I won’t tell the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express you’re little secret.” Amazon tired to convince the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express to accept the challenge, but Morton said the Stud Stable hadn’t done anything to deserve a title shot and wanted to know what this secret was. Morton said, “You’ve been acting really strange recently and I want to know what the hell is going on!” Parker said, “I’ll tell you what’s going on! Lady Amazon is pregnant!” Morton smiled and said, “Is that true?” A sad Amazon said it was and Morton gave her a hug and said, “That’s awesome!” Morton and Gibson hugged Amazon and they celebrated in the ring. Amazon said Orton and Slater could have the title shot if they could beat a team of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express’ choosing. Parker said, “Bring it on! Who do you have?” Amazon said, “How about our good friends…the Killer Bees!” Parker looked a little worried as he left with Orton and Slater.
In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Capt. Lou Albano, who was with the Wild Samoans and was still being looked over by medical officials, said he wanted Paul Jones and the Powers of Pain in the ring in a six-man tag team match next week on LCW Showdown. Albano said he was willing to put his position on the LCW Board of Directors at risk, because members of the Board of Directors aren’t supposed to be active in-ring competitors as it creates a conflict of interest, to take on the Powers of Pain and “that slimy son of a bitch coward” Paul Jones.

From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone said, “Is there anyone Stan Hansen isn’t making a target?”
